ISLES = Another steady loss this week, thats great
I cant remember ever being that small .. prob before I was a teen lol .. or when I was a young teen ... from about 11/12 I look at my school pics and see the weight on there .. my mother put me on weight watchers when I was 13 ... so chances are I had already gone beyond that lol.
CHEERILOOS = WTG on your 5lb challenge .. oops on the celebration, but think of the positive instead of the negative, even though they werent great choices, you werent doing it mindlessly and were aware of it .. just the brakes were engaged immediately, I think you have done great acknowledging it, accepting it, and moving on .. be proud of yourself
Im just still in awe of the weight goals with a 1 in front lol .. it definitely has me thinking .. but I felt great at the one I have chosen for my birthday weight (see side panel not counter lol) .. it was about a size 16, but Im lucky how I carry most of my weight .. spread out ... and with the clothes I already wear most people are surprised when I tell them my actual weight (yes I tell everyone lol .. its not like a pimple you can coverup and hide with cream or make up .. its my size!) I do giggle about the overweight bit .. it still seems such a foreign weight for me to imagine being .. 30 pounds in 14 weeks .. heck .. throw in a couple of weeks like this weeks weigh in and it will be a doddle
(easy lol). I have over 30 to lose in 12 weeks (the extra 2 weeks is for Xmas .. but I would like to hit goal for my wedding lol)

I love the “even look” comment hehehe .. I think that is what I want ... Im always gonna be top heavy (ick), but I wouldnt mind a butt lol... unfortunately as I lose weight its usually there and my face that are the first to go .. grrr lol .. ah well .. as long as it goes right?
ALICIA - Good reason to choose your weight goal. At the moment Im morbidly obese .. so looking forward to removing that first word for now .. then will aim for overweight .. not sure about the ideal one yet lol. Have updated your goal on the sheet

I have my wedding goal which this one is, but if I dont hit it by then, then I have 2 weeks to get it for Christmas, then I have another one in mind for my birthday in April which will take me down to the weight I was when I met my hunny 12 years ago (and havent been near since lol) .. from then .. I dont know what Im going to do lol .. But whatever you decide to do, keep doing whatever youre doing cos its working great. Are you on a plan of any kind? Counting Calories?
TURTLE - Love to have you join in .. no problem at all, I have added you to our team sheet which I post each Fri/Sat. If you want you can also join in the measurement tally which a few of us are doing so far .. and I hope you took a before shot so you can see how far you have come .. So far Im the only one posting the pics .. but that is ok .. I dont want anyone posting them if it doesnt give them a good feeling to do so. MARA - Another one for the BMI .. its a good reason, but its also good that you arent using it as the be-all and end-all of what the ideal is, as you are right ... so many body shapes .. I dont think I would be happy too thin either, Im bubbly and cuddly and I dont want to lose that image of myself too much
SHYHEATHER - Oh no about your foot! Did you stand on something? Or were the shoes wrong? Ive done that a few times, I dont know what triggered it, but its like Ive pulled a muscle under the foot and it just HURTS .. grrr ... Thanks for the compliment about the pic

WOW! This is lovely lol .. nice to come in to have a lot to read and its not all me rofl. Hopefully I have caught up with everyone .. and may I say everyone is doing great in this challenge .. losses large or small .. maintaining or adding a little .. hey .. you are all champs cos you are sticking with it and not giving up on yourself you fab peep you!
Today was a hard day for me .. I had to go and see if my daughter has lost her baby or not .. and they still cant tell us so we have to go back again next week .. grrr .. so that was the first upset .. then my hunny said the wrong thing which really set me off .. have discovered another trigger .. ANGER! I dont get angry very often, in fact its only like once a year if that ... but sometimes the wrong thing said at the wrong time or in the wrong way will just trigger a very fiery reaction. Sooo instead of reacting where I would end up having to apologise I got in the car and headed home, stopping at the supermarket on the way home .. all the way there I was thinking "Thats It!! Im getting some chocolate .. I could have a small chocolate bar . in fact I DESERVE a chocolate bar!" Soooo into the market I go .. get the veg ... and even a box of health bars .. but I went down the confectionary aisle for the first time in over a month .. and I did it!! I bought a BLOCK of chocolate .. dark chocolate .. the one with the lowest calories I could find per serve .... so if I look at the positive of this .. I was still keeping aware of what I was doing and while I was about to go off the rails and binge on chocolate I was going to do it in the best way I could lol. I also havent eaten anything today .. too anxious about the scan .. sooo really .. Im surprised I behaved as well as I did lol .. I also got some sugar free sweets to suck on
So Im home now .. I put the chocolate in the fridge deciding that I would clean up the kitchen first .. by the time I had finished cleaning I had calmed down a lot. So that chocolate is still in the fridge
I do need to eat something still .. but Im just not interested in food ... its a slump for me and usually it lasts for a month or so .. but Im not going to let it .. will get through today and then start again tomorrow. Im going to challenge myself to keep that chocolate in the fridge until Im a married woman ... so each week will be a victory if its still in there lol.
Ive put dinner on .. roasting some chicken thighs with mixed herbs and onion and some baby red skin potatoes .. no oil ... then will steam some beans and broccoli ... and maybe some cabbage (icky) .. oh and carrots (I must be a bunny .. have them every day lol). So time to get the veg ready.
