I know how you feel. I am a 22 year old who weighs over 300 pounds and I find it so hard to find clothes that are both trendy and able to fit. Just another motivation to lose weight.
I totally feel you. I am pushing a size 28 pants and even they are getting snug. Everything I buy feels wrong on me. I was much happier even at a size 20 when I could find things that actually looked halfway decent on me.
Hang in there lady! We'll all get there eventually.
I totally understand how you feel. I can't buy clothes anywhere other than Women Within or somewhere like that because I need a 32 or 5x. It's terrible!
I'm totally with you. I do all of my clothes shopping online, and can't wait for the day I can walk in to a store and buy something in the 18-20 range. For now, thank goodness for simplybe(dot)com
I know you all can do this!! If I can do this, anyone can.
I never ever thought I'd get out of the 300s (never thought I'd get that high either but I did), it would be a miracle to weight anything in the 290s, 280s, etc. Now I'm closing in on onederland soon, hopefully by next week if my body cooperates like I need it to!
3FC and all you ladies and men as a whole inspired me to keep on plan, to exercise a little more and a little harder, and to keep a positive attitude as much as I could. I have had my meltdowns, sometimes once a week. But I never lost focus and kept my eye on the prize.
You can all do this, we just have to stick together and get it done!!
elvislover324, I am SO grateful for members of this site like you that are living examples of successful weightloss. It's a good reminder that it is possible.

Thank you!
If anyone ever said that *I* would be an example of successful weightloss, I'd have laughed then cried. Thank you for saying that.
It's a miracle every day that I lost this weight and am still plugging along each and every week.
The good thing is that I am learning maintenance habits for the future while I'm losing now. I never knew "how" to maintain before, just went back to my old habits of pizza and Chinese food to celebrate my weightloss, you know?
Seriously, if I can do it, really anyone can. And you girls all HAVE this!!
Elvis is a rockstar. I tell her that everytime I post
Speaking of clothes, I bought a top at Giant Tiger yesterday. In a 2X, but regular stores 2X's are generally a lot smaller than what I can get at my plus size store. But, it fits like a dream, hugs my newly narrow ribcage (and unfortunately highlights a roll or two), and generally makes me feel awesome.
So... Moral of the story: You'll get there Because much like Elvislover said, if I (eat a pizza in one sitting and a cheesecake for dessert an hour later) Jane can lose 100 pounds, anyone can!
Jane!!!!! You are a sweety-pie!!! And congrats on your new clothes!! I felt my ribs through my rolls too, but at least I know I still have them! I haven't felt them in years!! We are rocking the 100 club, so many of us are! And there isn't a better bunch of girls than you all that I would want to belong in this club with!!
Hello ladies...I'm Angela, 40, 5'5", 404lbs and just getting started. I can SO relate to the clothes discussion. The ONLY place I can buy clothes is Catherines around here, and I am almost too big for their 5x even. Jeans are a NIGHTMARE, because I have (for now) a 62" waist. And I too, have only a few pair of pants I can wear to work..one black, one blue, one brown, so I try to compensate with a bunch of different shirts. The other day as I sat down in my car, I literally blew out the side of my black pants leg.
But what about shirt lengths? I can find a lot of 30" shirts, of course in the dreaded 5x, but they still aren't long enough to cover my hanging belly. And believe me, it's bad enough knowing it's there, but showing it off as it jiggles and swings is not my cup of tea...at all. Any ideas for longer shirts?? It has to get better....
