hmmm idk if i want to be in the 120s as of now but i guess i will re-evaluate once i get to my goal (138) I really want to be able to wear a size 3/4 (smallest size I've ever worn is 5/6)...i mean i am kinda tall so i really don't know how the 120s will look on me but as someone mentioned above, I want to FEEL thin/slender, so I guess we shall see. The smallest I've ever been was 140 (in high school) and I think I looked pretty proportionate and pretty good too haha I love the way victorias secret models look (although i do think that some are wayy too thin), I think Brooklyn Decker is a size 4 and she's pretty thin and toned, she's got a hot bod, but am not sure how much she weighs. I'll just have to wait and see, got 20lbs to go so...
I feel like I've done fairly well this week. It hasn't been a great workout week because I've been sick but food wise I did well. Tomorrow is WI day. I am so hopeful for a low weight! Ideally I would be at 133lbs or less tomorrow, then have an amazing week next week and hit below 130 a week from tomorrow. If this happens these will be the best 2 weigh-ins ever! I just know that if I come within 3 lbs of being in the 120s I'll be so motivated and have another great week! I want this so bad!
I'm trying to not get my hopes up in case I gain at WI tomorrow, but to be honest, I'd be crushed.
I really want to be in the 120's, but I'd settle for being heavier than that. I'm a shortie, but I have a large-ish frame, and I've always been bigger. Last time I remember being in the 120's was probably in the 7th or 8th grades.
I'll jump on the bandwagon though, since who knows! Maybe I'll get here eventually. I'm still in the beginning of my journey, so I've got a while before I even get close.
Me! So bad, i would looooooove to be in the 120s again!! So far I have lost 18 pounds since january 27th . But im trying to reassess a little because thats a lot in 2 weeks, don't want to get sick trying to get healthy!
Wow! Impressive weight loss in just 2 weeks. What method are you using?
WI this morning was a disappointment. Some of the positive attitude and enthusiasm I felt yesterday has disappeared. However, I am just 5 lbs. away from being in the 120s and I will not take that for granted. I know that there are many women here that would appreciate seeing 135 on the scale so I will appreciate it too and keep working on getting to the 120s.

I was eating huge amounts every night before bed, which I have completely stopped (ok, once a week I allow myself 1 snack after dinner if Im super hungry). I am also going to the gym 5-6 days a week and am eating mostly fresh, whole foods and have greatly reduced (but I will never eliminate!) my carb intake. The amount of loss has slowed down, but Im still seeing great losses Just a life overhaul, not really a particular diet!
That's awsome. I was seriously overeating every day and into the night too. My husband works evenings and doesn't get home until 10:00, so I'd eat out of boredom, lonliness, habit. I know I've had to cut my calorie consumption down by at least half just by not eating when I'm not hungry and by cutting my portion size in half. Making lifestyle changes like this are what will be the key to my weight loss success. That and exercising regularly. Feels good to be in control! Wishing you continued success!
I'm jumping in here!! I'm 5'4 and 147 and I would LOVE to be in the 120's!! I know I will get there eventually, as will everyone who keeps their heads up!!!
Today I weighed in at 135 AGAIN! The scale has not budged! I usually don't weigh every day but I have the past few days because I'm in disbelief about it not moving at all! I think I'll weigh myself tomorrow morning, I'll be happy with anything below 135!
I weigh in at 170 currently. This is the heaviest I have been other then my pregnancy where I weighed 180 the day I had him. Literally 30 lbs of water weight came off the next week. Now I have managed to gain 20 lbs back.
I will be starting my exercises tomorrow. I will start by taking my son to the park and following him around the park playing on the equipment. I will probably do this for an hour or two. This will be a big improvement from nothing. Tomorrow night I will try to air up my bike tires and ride around the block twice. I have not rode in years.
I have totally cut out sodas from my food intake. That is my goal for this week. Less sugar intake. Have to have my tea though. Only one... seriously.
My planned regimen is:
Breakfast - two boiled egg whites and a tbsp peanut butter - 2 weight watchers points and 134 calories
snack - one banana - 1 ww point and 90 calories
lunch - 1 cup vanilla yogurt and 1/2 cup blueberries with 1 granola bar - 5 ww points and 275 calories
snack - one cup low fat milk - 3 ww points and 125 calories
Dinner - ramen noodles and two cups steamed veggies dump half the broth - 4 ww points and 275 calories
One large cup of tea equal to McDonald's - 6 ww points and 280 calories
daily intake allows for one un-named snack of low calories
points are 21 of 25 allowed
calories are 1179 of 1600 allowed - based on current BMR
This will help me with not eating fried foods. I am going to keep boiled eggs on hand for a high protein snack. I only eat the whites.
Do you think this is too strict? and do you think I am getting all the nutrients mybody needs. I can not swallow a vitamin but if I have to eat the children's I will.
I will eat two eggs and a spoon of peanut butter for breakfast each day. A banana for snack. Lunch will be hard working in a factory and having no time for food prep at night being a full time student and having a small child. Supper will mostly consist on less than a full pack of noodles and a cup or two of steamed veggies. This should also work well with the calorie counting and the weight watchers diet.
