4 miles down the snowy bike trail today. After yesterday's hilly plus snowy 7 miles I thought today should have felt easy, because there are no hills on the trail. It actually almost seemed like too much. I did finish though and in a good time as well. I had 15 snowmobiles pass me. Every year I have to learn all over again not to be fearful when they pass. You'd think one of these years they just wouldn't bother me, but nope. I've got a couple days left in Dec., but right now I'm pretty sure tomorrow will be a rest day. Thanks for encouraging me along the way!!

Dec totals
4 hall walks
62 of 54 miles

I did 1.4 miles on the elliptical. Only about a tenth of what I wanted to do today, but I got derailed by some requests from my manager, so I spent half the day plugging away on my laptop. Too bad, because it was a beautiful day for running! However, I think I will attempt it tomorrow if I can get up early enough. I'm doing a 4 mile race on Monday night at midnight, so I just want to make sure that if I run tomorrow, I do it early enough in the day that I'll be recovered by Monday night. We'll see!

3 miles (2 walk/1 run)

31 miles this month. Not as much as I had wanted, but getting sick kind of got me off track. But I'm back on!

3.1 miles on the elliptical. No long run for me, but it's okay.

I'm still trying to work out how I managed that in December. Not complaining though!

Hey Cathy!
i am doing well. i have 5 teens sleeping over for the NY and I am having fun with the kids for the break. I am looking forward to doing the couch to 5k in the N.Y. Hows by you?

I tried the C25K day one this moring. I made it 15 min out of the 25 (5 min. WU) so really only 1/2 way through. I really just wanted to see what I was in for. I think this is going to be a challange!
It is snowing now, but dixie and I are going to head out in a little bit before the teens desend on the house!

4 Miles today to end the year ~ 57/100 miles ~ Dang, under goal...but still WAY better than the .....probably...0 miles I had for December last year!

Happy Last Day of The Year EVERYONE!

I am so proud of all of you! Aren't we all lucky to have such great support!

Well Angie and I took the dogs out early this morning. Instead of going to Starbucks we went a little further, over to Brueggers Bagels, for a change. It was a very nice cool and sunny day here.

Well off to clean and set up for the party. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Right, it's time for the round up of the year. My goal was to do 125 miles every month, for a total of 1500.

My December total ended up being 146.7

and my yearly total was...1671.4

I think I managed 125 miles or more in 10 months out of 12 (I missed it in February and June)

Now I just need to decide whether to up the target for 2008...

10.45 miles today!!!!! Most of that was a stroll on the beach. But still, that's basically my weekly goal in one day! :-)
