Would love to experience an American Halloween.

it's our fav holiday too but nowhere really does anything other than the kids side of things. We took my eldest and her two cousins to a theme park once for it that was good. In Wales we've tried a few places but found them disspointing apart from a holiday park that does a goods kids disco etc, so we're thinking of going there for the night but not staying this time. We do dress up and have been known to be 5 of us as pirates lol that was cute. I've got an alternative / gothic dress I'd like to fit back into for this Halloween, the bust was too tight last year.

Well I'm down to 215 so marching on slowly, not sure why my weight loss has slowed so much but persevering.

Grats PurpleJ on 215. Slow or fast, it's coming off and that's all that matters right? If you ever make it across the pond for Halloween, I highly recommend Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando Florida or Los Angeles California.

I can wear my original wedding dress now. They accidentally sent the wrong size and it was too late to switch out so I had to get another one in a rush. I've always been bummed about that, but now that one fits and it's slightly too big to boot. I'm contemplating making it my costume this year if we decide to go out LOL.

I retain water like a camel around both ovulation and right before. I completely understand that issue MissLoud and am going through similar myself. It'll come off, and hopefully take some fat with it! Grats on the new intense workout.

I am joining you folks on this thread! 219 lbs. this morning! I also joined my local YMCA on Monday and worked out twice so far! My goal is working out four times a week. Yippee!!!

Thanks for the warm welcome ladies! I am 218.5 lbs. this morning. I worked out four times this week! Yippee!

I am nervous though. Winter is coming and it has been cold and rainy here. I typically do not do well in the winter and am very affected by the cold and dark. I need to be careful with my food intake and be vigilant not to isolate.

We can do this!

Hit 210 yesterday! WOOT! Just in time for my vacation on Friday to mess things all up LOL.

But it's okay. I'm going to have fun and it will be worth it.

Congratulations Fickle, Purple, and Les on your weigh losses! It helps motivate me to have you folks doing this too.

217.5 lbs. this morning. I am very grateful to be fitting in some older clothes again. I have many more choices in what to wear now. I have clothes from size 8 to sizes 22-24 in my closet. Now I fit into a size 18. I hope to be wearing the 8's and 10's sometime next year.

I am very grateful for Overeater's Anonymous and this website.

that is great going on your clothes. I know the feeling only too well though mine range from 14-24 (UK sizes). I have never been as slim to get into anything lower in my adult life. I would love to be a 10 / 12 one day.

well done on coming down in weight, every little change counts.
