Thanks everyone!

ReallyTrying, you can do it!

Yesterday I didn't get in the exercise I wanted to. I had to work all day and then it was pouring down rain when I got off work. So no walk around my neighborhood last night. Bummer! I'll combat that today by walking on the treadmill during my lunch break at work and then stopping by my mom's house on my way home to begin preparing her backyard for her new Intex pool that she bought. She said that if she bought it I had to put it together. So tonight I need to cut down a small tree and dig the stump out of the ground. That will definitely be enough exercise for the evening! I can't wait to get the pool put together. Then I can add swimming to my exercise routine!

I weighed in today at 266.4 4lbs that is the most I've lost in one week since I started. And I know those first losses were mostly water weight.

Meka, WOO HOO!!!!! That's great! Welcome to the club!

I walked 1.5 miles on my office treadmill at lunch again. I would REALLY love to get 10 miles in this week. I may stay late a couple of nights and walk after work or something. Either that or I'll be walking at night when I get home. We'll see which option happens!

I'd made it to 243 last year . . . then things went beyond my control and sort of invaded the things I should have been in control of. I went all the way back up to 267. In March I decided it was better to make a fresh, healthy start, and I've since gone down to 252. Three more pounds and I'll be back in the 240's, and nine more pounds will get me back to my lowest last year.

Currently on day 99 of my new plan. Keep on truckin.'

I am trying to lose around 6 pounds this week to stick me into the 240s. I just ate eggs and am so uninspired. Oh well, I try to keep carbs down in the evenings and considering I got off work at 9 and am eating at 10, what a bummer. I cannot wait till I see 199. Better yet, my goal of 130 will see me throwing a party. Ha, ha.

HealthyMe! Thank you! Glad you got your exercise in (and at LUNCH TIME, no less!). I am going to the gym before work because I am working the late shift (1-9 p.m.). 10 miles makes me envious and you most certainly can make that!

Thanks!

We just had dinner and in a few I am going walking around my neighborhood with my family. Our dog loves to get out and walk with us!

Oh crud. After logging dinner on My Fitness Pal, I am over by 330 calories today! Time to get off my duff and get to walking!

259 again this week. But at least I'm out of the 260s. And I expected to stay, with all the wine I drank last week!

Today I changed up my routine and used the stationary bike at lunch instead of the treadmill. I pedaled for 30 minutes and got in 11 miles. Wow! Forutnately I was right under an air conditioning vent so I am not too hot. I'll have to remember to use that bike again sometime!

I'm a bit frustrated though. I took a peek at the scale this morning to see my progress since Sunday and the scale showed a gain of 3 pounds! WTF? I am eating within my calorie range. I am exercising daily. I honestly have no idea why I am showiong a gain, unless for some reason my body's holding on to some water or something. TOM isn't scheduled for another 2 weeks so I know that's not the problem. I really hope the scale cooperates when I weigh in officially on Sunday.

Healthy,

This used to be a HUGE frustration of mine. If you have upped the ante on your workout regime, you could show an increase. Now this is because your muscles are basically ripped a bit from all your exercise. That is good because they will build upon that and be stronger/leaner. However, until they heal, there will be a bit of water weight gain as they are holding onto it for longer since they are really feeling the burn. Do not get discouraged! It means you're doing a good job and actually building muscle. Give it a couple of days then weigh and see if you have come down. All this advice was given to me by my friend who is a professional trainer and nutritionist.

As for myself, I went to the gym before work today. Dunno what has gotten in to me. I can now run for a good four minutes straight and quite a fast pace. I did an hour and half and man, my legs are feeling it. Hopefully this will show on the scale tomorrow and by the end of this week be out of the 250s forever! Good luck everyone! xx

Wow, nice work hitting the gym before work!!!! I can jog for 2 minutes at a time. I can't do 4 yet! Very awesome!

Thanks for the advice. It's so tough to see that number go up when I know I'm doing the right things. I just need to remember that it's most likely muscle mass and water.

Where is everyone?

I did gain 2.6 this week. I 100% blame it on overeating last night and don't expect this gain to really stay around for long. I've behaved completely for nearly 2 weeks. Last night my mom made homemade lasagna and garlic cheese bread. My husband, dad, and I took my 2 daughters to a miniature animal petting zoo and then went swimming for 2 hours so by the time we got to dinner I was starving. I had 2 helpings of everything plus 3 caffeine free cokes, a slice of cheesecake, and a slice of key lime pie. It did horrible! But it really did taste good. I am sure that fully contributed to my scale's numerical increase today. But I don't plan on that staying around long. Back to the healthy eating and my comtinuous exercise. Now that there's a pool at my mom's house I can go swimming anytime I want!!!! Hooray for that!

I'm still here and still stuck at 262. But TOM made an unexpected early visit today so hopefully will see some falling of the numbers sometime late next week.

My TOM put me back up to 259!! So I am still here! The high 250s have been my nemesis! How exciting Healthymewannabe-so cool that u can swim anytime. Best way to stave off post swim munchies is grab a cheese stick and a glass of crystal light! I am going to Florida for a few days and hope to get down some extra pounds from more activity.

I'm still here as well. I weigh-in in the morning I don't think I'm going to have much of a lose. School is totally kicking my butt. Tell me who thinks it was a good idea for me to take 4 classes during the summer semester and work full time?
