Ona you know I thought that as I was typing it but why can't I turn off the sweets/junk food like the doughnuts? I haven't had any since Tuesday though I have definitely thought about them. The boys have even asked to go to the 7-11 but I just kept on driving . We got a pack of glazed doughnut holes from Walmart yesterday, I ate two because they were together but they weren't good. I do hope that I do better this month
I've had a long journey and have been trying to figure things out... this month I am giving it a 30 day go at no wheat. Has anyone ever done this? I'm not talking "low carb" per se but giving up all wheat products.

I gave up wheat at the end of January. It's really helped my cravings, my hunger levels, and my weight loss. It's not easy, but it's definitely been worth it for me. I read a book called Wheat Belly which had a lot of interesting stuff to say about modern wheat, if you haven't seen it yet.
Regardless, I'll be interested to hear your experiences! I didn't find it that difficult, but I've been 'low carb' for some time so I'd given up a lot of common wheat products already.
This morning I'm down .8 to 196.2. I guess my body's making up for three weeks of barely losing anything. Whatever the reason, I'm certainly not complaining!
I'm starting the month at 148.8. Not much of a loss during March (less than 4 pounds) but I'm happy that I didn't gain, given the all-you-can-eat buffet that my office is during tax season. March is a crazy month for me (331 hours worked!) and I'm glad it's over.
Ona, I've been dismayed at the amount of loose skin on my arms so I loved your mom's comment. I don't have anyone to wave at either!
Joining the party late this month. My fasting is done, and I unintentionally had a free for all with food this weekend. By unintentional I mean that I didn't plan to do just because I was done fasting, but it was one event after another, and I didn't really think twice about it. Oy vay. Not good, as a result I am up to 192.9 this morning, and I actually don't feel so great with all the junk that I ate - pizza, pastas, fried foods, ick, ugh, yuck I did however pack fantastic healthy foods for breakfast/lunch/snacks today so I am quite happy about returning to healthy eating. Hopefully I can shed the extra gain off rather quickly and feel good again.
I will have to do some reading to catch up with everyone, so I'll be back for personals

So I lost all of my weight so far counting calories. I have not been able to get out of the 130's for the last 4 months. I have decided to go ahead and change things up a bit this month. I'm no longer going to count calories. I'm going to cut out all whites (pasta, potatoes, rice, etc.) and then have a 'free' day on Sundays. I chose Sunday, because you should have seen me yesterday! I went crazy with cravings and broke into my children's easter basket candy. I was surprised to be down .5 today. Maybe my body needs a little more calories. I'm going to still work out 3 times a week on M,W,F.
Let's see what happens....
