It's so hard to restart our addiction to water. But with time it gets easier. I was in Cai for only 1 week and didn't drink 1/2 as much water as I should have. And I paid for it. I felt it. Headaches, dry skin and am sure a weight gain.
Can any one say BLOATED??? lol
I am jumping right back into the water thing today. I will be running to the ladies room all day..hahaha
Well I got in my 126 oz. on Friday, But Saturday and Sunday, I'd have been lucky to get in 40-60 oz. I don't know why, but I have such a hard time drinking my water when I am at home.
Hoping to have a good water day today.
Bella - Good job on the water, you seem to have a good goove!!
Woohoo to all of you for forcing that water down. I have great days and then bad days...but I think, (knock on wood) that I've finally gotten back into the swing of things. I did really well esterday and felt really great. Of course I was running to the bathroom alot during the day, but hey, it's gotta help!
ok so do you count things like Crystal Light as water?? I'm just really getting tired of plain water... I tried to add lemon to it, that didn't work.. I don't like seltzer water or flavored waters... so I'm trying the crystal light route, and its working.
If it's the only way you can really get the water down without gagging, of course, drink it.
BUT...plain water is the absolute best thing for you. The Crystal Light, though very very low in calories, the sweetness may trigger cravings. It depends on your body. You know your body best.
When I first began, I had a hard time giving up ice tea. The kind with SO much sugar in it. And coffee. I was a coffee freak. Which by the way will effect your weightloss, not for the good either. So, I would make myself a deal. If I drank all of my water throughout the day, I could have an ice tea at dinner or a diet soda. It worked. But soon after, I gave p my desire for juice or soda, they were all too sweet. I found that plain water works best for me. It's a hard thing to get into..but I found that after awhile, your body craved it and I couldn't seem to get enough of it.
Not saying don't drink the Crystal Light. It is good for you when you want something other than water. But try your best to limit what you drink of it a day. But then again, it may not effect you the way it would effect me.
According to my friend -
it is fine to drink crystal light as a water "enhancer"... you just should avoid sugar-substitutes when trying to get pregnant!
I have read how much water helps you lose, but I was wondering what ya'll's personal experience is with actual weight loss. Have you noticed a difference?
Also, although I have not started really drinking the water the way I should, I have noticed something. I can drink a few glasses of water during the day and never go to the restroom, or perhaps just once. But at night, I will get up three or four times, even after not drinking an ounce after 7PM.
I am 51 and just passing through menopause, and I wonder if that has something to do with it. I can't remember the last time I slept through the night.
