Any additional comments: I lost 90 pounds a few years ago and have maintained a 70 pound weight loss. In the last 18 months about 20 pounds have crept back on as I've gotten less consistent with workouts. I think 150 might be a little too low, but I can maintain 160. We'll see how it goes.
I want to join you guys - my biggest hang up is the eating late thing. Unfortunately I walk in my door 2.5 hours before bedtime - I have such a long commute to/from work - by the time I make my healthy meal and eat it, it is 1/5 hours to bed time - any ideas on how I can get this part of the plan under control - I know Oprah stresses this point.
Yeah Bootcamp! I just went and signed the contract with myself.

Comments: I am down to my last 30 lbs. Wow! I think the 2 biggest challenges are going to be increasing my workout intensity and going carb free for 1 month. I am already doing sugar busters so I have the eating down for after the first month.
Hi everyone! I am more excited about this than I have been about a weight loss effort in a long time. I read the new Total Body Makeover book 2 weeks ago and I lost about 1 1/2 pounds just by following the no eating 3 hours before bedtime rule.

I would like to say welcome to all of those who have chose to join us. I thing it is really great that you all have decided to join. If you can check in often so that we may encourage each other. I know personally for myself that if I think that I have failed a task I won't come on here for a while, so that I don't have to admit being a failure. But it's OK and nobodies a failure here. We are here to see that each other receives the love and suuport that it takes to lose weight.
Today I did well so far (I still have the entire day ahead). I got up this morning and took my daughter to preschool. Then on the way home I stopped at Curves and signed up for a free two week membership. I was really nice. I think that after my membership is up I will join. I did a full workout routine and felt really good afterwards. Now im here cleaning the house and washing and folding laundry. More exercise. If im not too tired later I will take a 2 mile walk before picking my daughter up.
I started an Oprah's bootcamp take 2 week 1 thread so we can post weekly, if you'd like to take a look at it.
Also, please don't stay away when you "think" you messed up. Just seeing people post helps me - what matters is that you're trying - that we're all becoming more conscious of what we are eating. Believe me, with two little ones in the house, keeping away from those arrowroot cookies is hard!!
Arcoiris here. I've got first day jitters. It's hard to go public with something like weight, something that one tries so hard to keep private. But when one has upward of 100 pounds to lose, how private can it really be? Thanks for extending such a warm and appealing invite. I am still feeling my way around.
