Important Question

  • I don't want to purchase yet another diet book (am currently struggling with South Beach) without knowing the gist of this plan. Can anyone give me an idea of what the eating plan is like so I can see if it's something I'd like to do. Thanks.
  • I tried the south beach diet but found it impossible to follow. There is such a limitation on foods (IMO) and with me being ultra picky I fell off of it within 2 days. I have seen it work though on other people so if you do decide to do it good luck!
  • Go to www.drphil.com and then the weight loss tab. You can get sample meal plans for several weeks and the quick start as well. That should give you an idea. Basically its the "Good" Carbs, Protein, Dairy, Veggies and "Good" Fats. He advocates using fresh or frozen ingredients and very little pre-packaged foods. There's a lot of info on his site.
