Getting Over IT!

  • I just wanted to post real quick here. That watching Dr. Phil has changed alot of things for me and I finally picked up the book and READ it the other day. I have emotional eating problems (who doesn't huh? ) and there are alot of demons that have been hauting me for WAYYYYY to long I can't hold on to them anylonger. Childhood memories sometimes haunt us for a lifetime...but I am learning that once I forgive myself I am on my way to no longer medicating myself with Little Debbie. And forgiving the other person died or alive will only open more doors to live outside the eating realm.

I just wanted to share that his 2nd step is biggy! And I am getting it!

I am on my way to the new me and she won't need Debbie again. Bye Bye Debbie!

  • Welcome Motivated Queen. I hear you on the Little Debbie's. I love them too, and my hips and thighs reflex it. Dr Phil's book raises lots of good questions about the why's and where of's, as well as practical advice about realizing distructive eating patterns and working to change them. No quick fixes here. There is power in a group of people working toward the same goals. Together we can support each other and get the results that we want! I look forward to getting to know you better! (Any one who loves Llittle Debbie's is an instant friend of mine. ) Irish
