Hey everyone! Every time I tried to go to our old thread it kept coming up as an error. I figured maybe you all were having trouble too, because I noticed none of you guys had posted at all today. I have had 18 pts. today. I plan to use 4-5 pts for a snack later. I rode my good ole exercise bike 20 miles. I feel like I have rode the wheels off that thing. Have a good night everyone.

Welcome, Patty! I've never heard of Coca Chicken. What is it? Sounds yummy. I'm also doing WW at home. This is my 3rd time doing WW and planning to stick it out forever this time. Let me know if you find the recipe for the Chickie dish...I'd like to see what's all in it.

Paula-I didn't have any problems with the thread but it was getting long anyhow, so probably time to start another one. So did you decide...getting a Gazelle or not? Hubby is talking about getting a treadmill. He's been dealing with high cholesterol, triglycerides and now his blood sugar is high so he needs to do something. They took him off his statin drugs because of the side effects he was having...getting depressed and having anxieyt attacks. I told him...you can do WW with me! We'll see how that goes. I'd love to be able to share that experience with him. Something we both need to do and we could cheer eachother on.

I'm back! I stayed out of town longer than I anticipated and believe it or not, I mostly stuck to the points while I was at my mother's house! She's watching what she eats too, so that makes it easier. She was recently diagnosed with diabetes so she has to be very careful, and she's lost 31 pounds since her diagnosis. I'm so proud of her!

Anyway, I went over my points on two days, the worst of which was yesterday!! My brother took us to a steakhouse and I ate steak, broccoli, homemade potato chips, and two rolls with butter! Then I went for ice cream! I know I have flex points, and when I added it all up I think I used about 20 of them, but it just feels WRONG to eat all that!!

On the scale at my Mom's house, I weighed around 260, but today on my scale it said 261.5. Tuesday is my normal weigh-in day, but I'm just going to go with 261, which means I've lost 14 pounds! Woohoo!

Absolutely NO exercise this past week, though.

Hey everyone! I used my extra 35 pts. today on pizza. Tomorrow I will probably eat very light. I rode my stationary bike 40 miles in hopes that I could burn some of that pizza hut off.

Lisa-You are doing awesome girl! Keep it up and you'll be at your goal in no time.

Paula-How do those legs feel after 40 miles? Mine would be rubber and then next day they would feel like lead.

Hi, everybody. I signed up for an online membership. I had been a vegetarian and tried going vegan, but, it all seemed kind of extreme. Having a quick fix mentality, I want to do something sensible that I can stick with, that doesn't cut out any food groups. I lost 15 pounds on WW in the past, so, I'm optemistic. I want to lose the last fifteen pounds.
My trainer really wore me out yesterday, weights and cardeo. I need to keep it up, as I haven't been exercising as much as I would like. This morning, so far I've had a soy yogurt half cup granola, and half cup blueberries, 6 points. Plus tea, of course, plain black or green, lots of it, gotta have my caffene, LOL. Nice to meet you all.

Amie,

Looks like you have a great plan going for you. Good job! I, myself, have a hard time with getting exercise in. I just don't like it I guess.

Welcome to the group and I'll be checkin back in a bit. Need to go get a birthday cake made for my darling little daughter's birthday tomorrow. Wouldn't she kill me if I forgot?

Do any of you girls do the Wendie plan? I've been looking at it and wondering if I should try it, but I'm uncomfortable with using that many of my Flex points. My Points target is 30, so I usually try to stay around 27-30 on most days, using Flex points for a special occasion. If I followed the Wendie plan, I'd go over 30 every day, which seems like too much. I think I'll stick to what I'm doing and if I hit a plateau I might try the Wendie plan, because it makes sense to vary your points to keep your metabolism guessing.

What do you guys think? Do you stay right at your Points target all the time, or do you generally go over or under?

Hey everyone! Yesterday I had 18 pts. I did not exercise. Too tired. Chris, I never got the gazelle. Still thinking about it. My legs were very weak after that 40 miles. I guess the pizza night did not hurt because I lost 1 lb. I will talk to you all in a little bit and track for today.

Paula, Congrats on the loss. I can't even imagine riding 40 miles omg!!!

Well, I lost no weight this past week. I started my new job, with lots of trainings that included a working lunch. I guess I should be pleased I didn't gain.

Yesterday I went to my nieces 16th b-day. She had it at one of the places that has the inflatable stuff like a bounce house etc. One of the things this room had was an inflated boxing ring. They had these over sized boxing gloves. My husband and I got in there and beat on each other for about 5 minutes LOL It was so much fun, but I was sucking wind for a while

Have a great Monday!

Hello!!! Today I had 26 pts. I was hungry!! I only went over by 2 pts. I had a pk of plain m&m's today and they were the best m&m's I have ever had. It was well worth using 5 pts. Normally I wouldn't think that m&m's would be worth it, but today was a different story!! I am sure some of you can relate!! I rode my exercise bike 15 miles. I did not ride yesterday. I just didn't feel like it. I needed a little break. Have a great night!!

Lisa...actually you might be going too low if you are only using 27-30 pts. I'd keep it closer to 30. I made the mistake of going to low and my weight loss stopped. I don't know much about the Wendie plan..I tried it but I don't think I did it right or I didn't stick with it long enough.

Hi all you gals. Paula you just seem to be so together with your weight loss. I sure wish I had the stamina and motivation to keep going like you do.

Hey Amy...birthday cake is deadly! So is ice cream! And caramel corn! Naw...i didn't kill myself with it on Sunday but did get a sugar overload and a nice headache to boot afterwards. I think it was a bit much for my body...

Ummm...Kelley....you didn't beat your husband up too bad did ya???? My sister did the boxing thing with her BIL's girlfirend and they had a blast too. Did they have those sumo wrestling suits too. That is even funnier to watch.
