Default While I wait for my kit to arrive.....

Hello, All, I just ordered my WW Home Kit last night. I was on WW in Hawaii a few years back but got frustrated, gave all my stuff away, and gained. Things are a little different this time, and I am more self motivated. I have already lost 11 1/2 pounds on my own, but not with the consistency that keeping a good food record will provide. I am also exercising. Any suggestions you all have for preparing to make this more successful than last time? Any tips you have found helpful? Thank you, Lori

welcome!!! i just started the ww at home last week..have lost 4.5 lbs in the first week yay!!!

my tip: write everything down...budget in for any treats and remember your water and exercise. I used my 35 weekly points spacing them out thru the 7 days with one day being a high point day ( i read on another board that varying the points/calories tricks your body into thinking it is not on a diet so it won't hold on to the weight because it thinks you are in starvation mode). I have read this in fitness magazines as well.

so for example..say you are on 28 points a day..your point schedule would look like this: Day 1: 28
Day 2: 33
Day 3: 29, Day 4: 43 (VERY HIGH POINT DAY), Day 5: 28, Day 6: 32, Day 7: 28

This incorporates your 35 weekly points you can use.

Hope this helps!

I like that point spacing thingy, its quite smart and you dont feel like you are missing out which is good. I might try and incorporate into my eating plan

I think the point spacing seems more like real life anyway. When have I EVER eaten the exact same amount of calories on a daily basis???8-)
