Default FlexPoints??

Hi! Okay, I lost 14 lbs last year before I met my FI, then got sidetracked and well, I am sure you know the rest. Just over a year later, I am a newleywed but 15 lbs heavier than when I started WW last year!

Since it's not in our budget for me to send $40 per month at WW meetings, I am going to try it myself at home with the great support of DH and friends.

I have all my old stuff, but I wondered about the new FlexPoints stuff. Can anyone tell me who the FlexPoints work in and the new point chart that goes with that (#pts per #lbs).

Thank you so much! I am looking forward to getting back on track and being a big LOSER!

Ok here goes, less than 150# you get 20 points a day
150-174 /22 points
175-199/24 points
-224#/ 26 points
-249#/ 28 points
-299#/ 31 points
-324#/ 32 points
and so on

Now everyone gets 35 flexpoints a week.
Those can be used in one day or spread out throughout the week. You can use them all or not at all.

Flex points are basically extra points you can use during the week if you end up going over your daily allotment. It is a new system that replaces the old way of saving up unused points or exercise points so that you can use them for a special occasion, treat of meal out that week or on some days when you are extra hungry.

You get a base number of points that you have to eat daily. On top of that you get 35 points in the tracker they give you. When you use some extra points you subtract them from the 35 flexpoints- you can use some, all or even not bother with them at all if you choose.

Eg. 22 points per day is the minimum amount that I have to eat daily. If I feel like having a treat one day and go over the 22 by say 4 points I then subtract those 4 points from my 35 flexpoints leaving me with 31 flexpoints for the rest of the week. When the next week starts you start over with the 35 flex points - you cannot save them from the previous week.

It is a little easier than trying to save up points and it gives you a little more flexibility.
