Default In need of some support and advice.

I am going to New Orleans next weeks for a conference for work. I will be there for 3 days and I am nervous that I will put back on a bunch of weight. I know that I will be doing a lot of walking and there is a workout facility there at the hotel but I am still nervous.

I have now lost 10lbs and don't want to come back 10 + 3 from N.O.

The most important thing to do is make smart choices with your meals... New Orleans is known for their seafood... grilled is a good choice! Breakfast can be easy too... as for the exercise part... walk as much as you can but be careful... biggest thing is to just make smart choices for meals and don't get drawn into the eat eat eat environment! It's actually next to impossible to gain 10 lbs on a 3 day trip...that would take 35,000 extra calories! The most damage you could really do would be a pound or two. You might see an increase on the scale due to excess fluid etc, but won't be new fat.

I agree with Paragoddess, eat a good breakfast - try packing some low point snacks in your purse so you don't get hungry then over indulge.
