Intensity has more to do with how you feel during/afterwards.

Were you sweating? Breathing a lot heavier? Then moderate.

If it just felt like normal movement without much exertion then light!

Normal chores for me at my weight still give me a moderate, but for you they might be light!

Arrow What you should be feeling at each level of intensity

Personally, I only count intentional exercise ie. walking, biking, swimming etc.

In my booklet I got from a lady at work it says...

Light Intensity
  • Can talk
    Can sing
    Breathe Regular
    No Sweating

Moderate Intensity
  • Can talk
    Cannot sing
    Breathing often and deep
    Sweating after 10 minutes

High Intensity
  • Can talk briefly
    Cannot sing
    Breathing rapid and deep
    Seating after 3-5 minutes
