Hello All,

I have just started WW (yesterday) and will be trying to do this at home. I would love to receive support and feedback from others doing this type of diet on their own. I have been told (doc's orders) that I need to lose some weight...so here goes! I am not sure if I am consuming the correct number of points which is 23 per day.

My current weight is: 193.5
My goal weight is: 150
My dream weight would be: 120 ish
My height is: 5'4

I am doing WW at home too. I did WW after my first baby and lost 25 pounds, but this time it isn't as easy for me. I am eating 22 points a day and have been doing 30 minutes on the treadmill a day.

I too am doing ww from home. I've lost about 14 lbs so far. It seems as if I've hit a wall lately and I'm kinda stuck at my current weight. I'll just hang in there and see what happens. Good luck on your journey.

Thumbs up new too, similar stats

I am just getting started with WW at home also. Your wt & goals are almost identical to mine! So, I thought I'd say hi and good luck! I have been on and off WW since I lost 30 lbs 7 yrs ago before my wedding. After baby #1, I didnt' lose alot weight, and then had #2 7 months ago. It is a little daunting, but I know it's a reachable goal. I am (hoping to reach it sooner) but am aiming to be fit and happy with my body by next summer.
WW works!

Hi everyone! I started doing an at-home version of W.W. last week myself. I'm a poor college student, so I can't afford to go to meetings and such, but my mom did it for a while, so I have all her materials. My guide to how many points to have per day appears to be slightly outdated - I've seen posts referring to age, gender and activity level as criteria for the point total, but the book I have just lists the points based on weight. According to my book, I need 31 points per day, although since I'm close to the border, I stick with 30.

I think I did well for my first week. I think I went over on the bonus weekly points when I went out for dinner with my mom on Wednesday at Red Lobster (I can't resist the ultimate fondue or the biscuits!), but it didn't seem to affect my weight loss. I lost 5 pounds and it's quite encouraging!

I also found it very fascinating how many points I was consuming before, and how easily the calorie and fat numbers creep up. I was probably eating between 60 and 80 points a day!

Hi everyone! I have similiar goals to several of you (I really started at about 193.0, which is what I weighed about 6 weeks after my second baby was born...) I did WW several years ago in college and lost over 40 lbs (from 197 to 153) and kept it off (more or less) for 3 years until I got pregnant the first time. At this point, I'm several lbs lower than when I (unexpectantly) got pregnant with my second, but still up over 20 lbs from where I was for a few years, and up about 35 to 40 lbs more than I'd like to be! I am not attending meetings either (we are living on student loans) but I definitely know how to use the WW system. I'm eating about 24-30 pts a day, and trying to get in exercise 4-5 times a week. It's still working for me, so until it stops, I'm not lowering my pts value... Here's to us, we can do this!

P.S. I hear you Shadowclaw! At least when I'm trying to eat my points every day, even if I go over, a "bad day" would be a pretty good day before!

Hey everyone! I am doing this at home too. I started on April 8, 2008 and have lost 48 lbs so far. I am using materials that I had from 8 years ago and with a little bit of changes (fiber cap is 4 now), what you have for materials should work. This is very doable - especially since each of you have found this place like I did. Wonderful people, great encouragement and support can be found here.
