Hey Dale Jr Fan. Did you watch the bud shootout last night??? How about our boy?? Its weird seeing him in that car and that suit. Im used to the red!

Anyway I didnt lose weight this week, but I have my reasons for that LOL. You know how it goes TOM. But I did stay the same so that was great!

And congrats on the new puppy!

I need to get a scale!
I've been OP so far, but I do have a couple of restaurant meals coming up...
I'm sure I will do fine though

Hi I am new here
I used to be on ww online and I am asking how many points for 180 lbs, as I forgot. I am thinking maybe 24.
I have to do something before this weight gets out of hand.
Thanks
shrl

Hi to everyone. Good luck with your puppies Dale Junior Fan. I have a question about the weight watcher tracker/calculator? Has anyone tried it and what do you think about it. I've seen it on ebay, weight watchers online doesn't seem to sell it, but I might be looking in the wrong spot.

Also anyone here work nights? I'm having a problem staying on track with my points since I sleep for strange amounts of times, 3 hrs here and then 2 then work then maybe 6 then normal nights at home. I only work 3 12 hr shifts and they aren't all in a row. Any ideas would be great.
Good Luck to everyone this week.

Good Luck for today everyone,

Dale Junior Fan, I love Yorkies, they are so cute. Cute names. I have a Bichon named Sammy, he is going on 13 years old, but still real active. We adopted him when he was 5 years old

I am getting serious on my diet as of today. Counting every food point in my Journal. Trying to exercise at least 20 minutes.

SexyMom, good luck on counting points on odd sleeping times. Shift work always messed me up when I was working it.

Have a good day everyone,
Shrl

Greetings

Avsgirly: I am so excited Junior started the year off right!!!! Maybe this is just the push he needed to win a championship!

Shrl and Sexymom3: Welcome to our group!!!

As for me, I am really going to focus on exercise this week. I did the step thing and I liked it so maybe I will do that a few times this week along with walking. I just hate exercise but I know it is good for me. Keeping my fingers crossed that I make my VD goal then we will be onto the next one. What holiday is next?

Off for now....don't forget to drink your water!!

SexyMom3: I have used the calculator in the past and I did like it. I lost mine. I do find it quicker to just use the one that comes with your kit. Hope this helps.

Hey Shrl

If you are doing flex points it is 24 points daily for 175-199 pounds. Hope this helps.

Hello strangers... I ... uh... mean... ladies!

Sorry I've been so quiet lately. As you all know I live with my in-laws... so there are 7 of us in this house (myself, the hubby, my 2 kids, the in-laws and a brother-in-law). Everyone (except for myself) has had the flu for a total of the last 2 weeks! UGH!!! I could just strangle by brother-in-law. He went over to his girlfriends house KNOWING that she had the flu and then came home with it. UGH! My father-in-law is the last one to get it. Our kids and my hubby got it, but it wasn't bad at all for them... 1 day or so of a fever, a cough here and there and just looking puney... and now, they're all better. I still think it has something to do with letting them eat dirt and stick their hands in the toilet....lol. Don't laugh too hard about it, it has happened. My mother-in-law is a GERM-O-PHOBIC! (as is my brother in law). If the kids so much as touch anything that's been on the ground, the MIL asks if we've washed their hands. My daughter stuck her hand in the toilet (it was freshly cleaned, by the way) and my MIL asked if I washed her hands and I said "no..... it's clean!" and the MIL just about went ballistic! However, my MIL and Brother-in-Law are the 2 who got the flu the WORST. I just laugh... I do believe that there is evidence to support that being exposed to germs (to a certain extent... I mean, I wouldn't let my kids eat dog poop or anything) will help build your immue system. Look at me, I was the only one who didn't get the stinkin flu AT ALL and I was the only one who grew up around all kinds of germs....... that makes me sound like I grew up in a dump... but my mother was one who never made a HUGE fuss about germs and we all have really awesome immune systems. I'm not saying we never get sick. But when we do, it rarely sticks around very long.
Okay... I'm done with that. I can't say it to my MIL's face, so I just say it to you all!

I finally broke into the 194's ! I've been stuck between 195-198 for the past MONTH, so I'm finally going back down again! My personal goal for V-Day is to be at 192. So, we shall see.

London: Hang in there girl.....I know it can be difficult. If your BIL is a germ-o-phobe what was he doing at his girlfriends anyway knowing she had the flu?
Some people just don't think sometimes. You know you can vent here anytime. Hopefully you won't be there much longer......fingers crossed.

Where is everyone else??

HI ladies I have been busy the past week. My middle daughter is in basketball and we have either had a game or practice the past few nights. Then we got the kids a new puppy this past weekend. His name is Rascals. He is part Lab/Border Collie mix. He is about a year and a half old and is pure black. He is such a good dog!! He is my buddy. He follows me around everywhere I go. If I get up off the chair then he gets up. Even if I am just getting up to move across the room he is following me. When I take a shower he lays beside the shower till it is time for me to get out. He doesn't bark or jump.

As for me I have had a hard time staying OP this week. I am not journaling. I was doing really good at it but then I lost track and haven't been able to go to a meeting for two weeks. I need to get back to a meeting. The basketball games are at the same time as the meetings. Hopefully next week!

Welcome to all the new members!!

I am having a rough time this week staying OP. I think it has alot to do with the crumby weather. All it can do this winter is snow!! Every day off I am out snowblowing or shoveling...I am tired of it. Is spring ever going to come????

I am down 2 pounds this week, so close to my Valentine's goal but yet so far away!!

Good luck on your journey this week!!

Add me to the list of people having trouble staying OP this week! It's been crazy around here! I lost half a pound last week and will probably have a gain this week if I keep it up. Tomorrow's another day, right?
