WW Food and Point Issues ...other than recipes

Question BOXED mashed potatos

how many points are boxed mashed potatos? contains water, 1 cup milk, and 2 Tbs butter. I had one cup.. im just assuming its a lot and just wont eat anything else today... anybody know the real points? the WW book says 1/2c. is 2 pts i think.. off the top of my head, maybe its 4?

Well it really makes a difference if it was true butter (2 tbsp is 8 points), 1 cup milk is between 2 if skim and 3-4 for anything other than that then it depend son how much you ate. If you have the box look at the nutritional info or if you know the brand (or even if you don't) you can use the Nutritional Database here (but I couldn't find it no matter where I looked earlier today) or try Calorie King (sorry we aren't allowed to post the web addy). I know Calorie King has brand names and that will help you figure the points from the nutritional info.

I get Idahoan in a pouch and they are 2 points a serving (1/2 a cup)
