Hello all,

Found the Skinny Cows in Destin, Florida today at the Publix. They had the vanilla 6 pack and the vanilla/chocolate combo. Publix also carries Big Daddy ice cream in Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry and Cookies and Cream. Both the Skinny Cows and the Big Daddy are a tasty treat for only 2 points.

I live just east of Tampa, and have been looking for Skinny Cows for quite some time, but the website indicated they could only be found down South.

I just found them Saturday at an Albertsons, after the manager said someone had special-ordered them.

I went back to Publix tonight, and they had them there, too!

But I had not heard of "Big Daddy's," but found them, also, and thought I'd try them. Just finished my first one - that's a lot of ice cream for 2 pts!!

So "Thanks" for your post! If Publix is carrying them up your way, here in Central FL, and also down South - maybe that means they're here to stay!

You are very welcome. I have been looking for the Skinny Cows for a long time after hearing about them on 3FC and Dotti's. I think they are tasty and wanted to put the word out so that people will buy them and Publix will keep carrying them. Maybe they will even get some of the other flavors - carmel, strawberry, mint, etc. I can hope at least.

Kinda funny, Destinite - I had the same thought.

I told everyone at my gym about the Skinny Cows, and people here at work, as well.

And the thought has crossed my mind to run over to our local WW office and let my old leader know, as well - even though I don't attend, anymore.

... Just so people will buy them and Publix will keep them! As much as I like them, I don't think I can buy enough to convince them to stock them - just for ME!

I was in Publix this morning & bought Big Daddy in vanilla (going to have it w/ fresh strawberries)
& cookies & cream. Cookies & cream has 4 grams of fat per container. I have never tried
Big Daddy but understand it is very good. I live in N. Fla. & have not seen Skinny Cow at Publix.
Who makes it?

Destinite, Destin, Fla. is one of my very favorite vacation spots. My husband & I just love it there!
Some of the best restaurants. First time I went was in 1961 so it has changed alot but still a neat place.

Skinny Cows are made by Silhouette Brands, Inc. of New Jersey. Their website is www.skinnycow.com. They are round ice cream sandwiches packed 6 to a package in a clear long container. The ones I found have a chocolate cookie with 3 vanilla filled and 3 chocolate filled and also a package with 6 vanilla filled chocolate cookies. The package says Silhouette in red on a yellow background and there is a picture of a black and white cow on the front. It says The Skinny Cow in smaller letters that the Silhouette. They are 130 calories and have 2 grams of fat and 2 grams of fiber each. I found them in my Publix in the very bottom row of the freezer section below the regular ice cream sandwiches and novelty bars. You really had to be looking for them to find them. I went to the website and checked out the picture of the packaging so I knew what I was looking for.

Glad to hear you like Destin. We like it too. We just moved here from San Francisco in the fall. Quite a change!

Hope you find the skinny cows. I really love the strawberry Big Daddy Ice Cream. The cookies and cream flavor is 3 points if you are doing Weight Watchers.

When I plan to vacation in Florida again, I'll be sure that I go somewhere that has Big Daddy Ice Cream in the stores!

Don't mean to butt in here, but just want you to know that Publix in Ft Myers has both Big Daddy and Skinny Cows. I haven't tried the Skinny Cows (too expensive!!), but I have asked my kids to give me some Big Daddy for Mother's Day! I love the vanilla. I should have asked for the Skinny Cows, too! They are $4.49 for a pk. of 6 at all the Publix's here in Southwest Fla.

I was wondering if we were getting "ripped off" up here in Tampa.

But they were $4.49/6 pack both at Publix AND Albertson's. Guess that's what we'll have to pay to get the "cow."

I found Big Daddy's at Public in Orlando, have not heard of Skinny Cow....it is time to get some more Big Daddy's because I LOVE them..I think I got only 1 left...have to see if they have Skinny Cows....good information...Joy
