Question What to eat at 22 points?

I am at 22 points and I'm always feeling hungry. Does anyone have any suggestions for filling meals/recipes/ daily journals to help me out? I am 1.8 pounds from goal and really want to make it there this week! Sweets are my downfall! Any input will be appreciated...

Last week's weigh in 153

Here is my journal from the other day:

BREAKFAST - 3 points

Kelly's Smoothie (1/2 cup strawberries, 1 1/2 ounce banana, 1 cup mixed fruit, 1/2 cup fat free plain yogurt, 1 1/2 cups Diet V8 Splash, 2 tablespoons sugar free vanilla syrup)

LUNCH - 6 points

Small salad with 2 tablespoons Light Balsamic Vinegarette
1 1/2 cups Italian Tomato Soup (homemade)
1 apple
2 tablespoons fat-free caramel

DINNER - 9 points

4 ounce lean pork chop
1/2 can reduced fat cream of celery soup
1 cup broccoli
1 cup Uncle Ben's Converted Rice

SNACK - 8 points

3 tablespoons fat-free caramel
1 apple
15 gms Caramel Quakes
1 reduced fat tortilla w/pace
3/4 oz redueced fat Monterey Jack Cheese

I used 26 points (4 FlexPoints).

You need to make sure you eat some protein and real fats daily as they will help you keep satisified.

Thanks for these great ideas! Christian- I also will use my points for real cheese, that Fat Free stuff is watery and nasty!

I have started to use my crock pot for suppers-that's my hardest time of day, getting home from work and being sooo hungry with no plan-then grabbing the wrong things. I WILL MAKE GOAL IN OCTOBER!!!!

Tonight is my weigh in and I am hoping to make goal. I was on target all week, but hard a hard time with the weekend. I think I let myself get too hungry and then I pig out. On Sat. I ate three bowls of Apple Cinnamon Cheerios! Cereal has been a big downfall for me this week. Today I have had a peach for breakfast and a small spinach salad for lunch. Weigh in is at 4:30, so then I will go home to my crock pot of chicken teriyaki! I'll let you know how it goes......keeping my fingers crossed. My FIL is having his 75th birthday party on the 18th of Oct. There will be family members at this party who haven't seen me since 59 pounds ago, size 18 to an 8!!! So if I don't make it tonight I know I have come far...

I lost .8-at least it was a loss, but now I have one single lonely pound to lose! I know I will make it this month. I have been very hungry all week-22 points is not very much food-and I am trying to cut back on carbs. Any more suggestions would be helpful...thanks !!!

Hey there!
Man you are SO close That is AWSOME!!!!
As far as tips go, the low carb thing will do the trick, I can lose 3 pounds a week if I do it....I just love the carbs too much
I would say ...have an egg and a slice of real cheese for breakfast
for 4 pts, a grilled chicken breast and a salad with ff italian for lunch 4 pts and some sort of low fat meat and green beans or cabbage or broccoli or cauliflower for supper, and if you get snacky try just having a serving of 0 point veggies It will work and you will have to find ways to get in all your points that way too Hope this helps!!! And you will be at goal in NO TIME!

Thanks for the support and encouragment, I did make goal but have gained 6# over the holidays and now I need to lose them to make Lifetime. I will do this, but losing was easier for me than maintaining Oh well, this is something I will have to work on forever, I was in the brain-mode of "reaching maintenance was the end"... and its just the beginning!
