Do you have the points plus books? Have you been to a meeting? The introductory materials they give you have a lot of information on food planning in them. For example, the weekly pointsplus tracker booklet has the Weight Watchers Power Foods listed in the back.
Probably a good way to start would be to sit down and write down some of your typical breakfasts, lunches, dinners, etc and figure out the points for them. You will probably have to tweek the menus to get them to fit your points allowance.
You can also figure out the points for recipes you use, or get a "healthy" cookbook from the library or new or used bookstore. There are also a lot of free recipes online.
I find the real secret is being honest about your portions. You will have to measure what you are eating and figure out the points. Guessing will not work, especially until you get used to portion sizes.
Hope this helps.
