Default Question regarding WW

I started WW in September for specific health issues. I have high blood pressure in addition to be very overweight (250 on 9/23/02). I told my doctor that I wanted to start a family with my husband, but she told me that I need to lose weight to get my BP down before I get pregnant.

Since being on WW I have lost 31 pounds (219) and my doctor has given me the o.k. to get pregnant. But she wants me to stay on WW so I don't gain all my weight back. She told me to continue eating what I have been only add about 200 in protein.

Can you stay on WW while you are pregnant and just not weigh in?

When I was pregnant I had been losing weight with WW as well, but they won't let you continue going to the meetings or weigh in - even thought my Dr. said the same thing. I did continue to watch what I was eating, although not counting points. Mostly not only for WW reasons, but I became very aware that what I was eating was also feeding the baby - so healthy food it was. I only gained 23 pounds with my 1st child, and 27 with my second. Most of the weight was gone within a couple weeks. The only problem is after they were born I went back to eating Junk and now I have to start all over.... Anyway I hope that helps.

Thanks for the information! That is what others have told me also regarding WW and that they wouldn't let you go to meetings or weight in etc. I thought about it over yesterday and decided that I would do what you did. Just continue to watch what I eat and everything I do eat is healthy for the baby.

I am hopeing to get pregnant soon so wish me luck. Congrats on your two children. And thanks again.
