Default Variety

How important is it to have a variety of different types of fruits and vegetables? My family have their favorites and sometimes we eat a lot of the same types of vegetables and fruits. I was wondering if this is going to hinder my weight loss or if it is OK as long as I am getting the recommended amount of fruits and vegetables in my diet and not going over my recommended daily points allowance?

You are "allowed" to eat the same kids fruits and vegetables day after day, but for the sake of nutrition and to prevent boredom, you might want to switch off. As long as you stay within your points range, repetition shouldn't hinder your weight loss.
