Default WW Pedometer Vs Activity Points Calculating Formula

Just wondered if any of you use the WW pedometer and do you use it in the 'All Day' mode or 'Active' mode
I have traced out walking routes and times for myself and found that when I
enter my weight and time and activity level in the on line calculator I get an activity point(have mapped my routes to achieve that)
Last week I picked up the WW pedometer that actually tracks activity points and I have set it up with my weight and stride as instructed and have
set it to 'Active' to mark each activity but on say a 25 minute light to moderate walk it does not give me any points
Does anyone know what the variance could be. Thanks for any help
Joyce
