Hi All,

Hope you have had a great day!!

School is busy as usual! It will slow down soon but it will take a couple of weeks. I'm taking my lunch everyday. I take my water and snacks. I'm eating something every couple of hours.

Tina, I so jealous about you going to the Barn Door. Glad you had a great meal. You did great there.

Good evening all,
Nola, I've never heard of a Designer 1 machine. I'll have to look it up on the internet.

Susan, I was just saying to my husband that I wondered how Susan and Tammy were doing. I'm glad things are going okay.

Tammy, how are you doing? What's up?

Linda, Laura, Sis, Dee, and everyone???

Hi all! This is the first I've been on since my last post, whenever that was. Busy!

We worked in our band booster food tent on Sunday and Monday at our county fair. I was totally pooed out when we were finished. By the time we walked to the car last night, I was ready to cry. Too much bending for my back I think, and I twisted my knee when I was climbing a couple steps. What a klutz!

Yesterday and today I worked at school off and on. My team teacher, the principal, and I worked on finalizing a schedule for our art, music, and gym classes. All the words were swimming across the page by the time we got finished.

Not much else going on. Rings are spinning on my finger instead of being super snug now. Weird.

Toodles! Tammy

Hi everyone good luck on weigh in today or in my case tonight. My daughter in-law is going to join WW tonight, I will have to go to the late meeting so we can go together. It will be worth it to help her. She had a baby boy on April 14 of this year and needs help losing the weight. He was my 5th grandson and my other daughter in-law had my sixth grandson on May 11. I have 3 sons and 6 grandsons. It is so much fun, the oldest is 5.

Tina it is a Husqvarna Viking (Designer 1).

Nola, aren't new babies wonderful? I love to just cuddle them. Now I make do with Kramer (our dachsund!) Tim is a bit too big to cuddle since he's 13, but I still get lots of hugs!

Susan, I started thinking today about what I need to buy to keep in my fridge starting next week at school. I already bought some crackers, granola bars, etc. to keep in a drawer. Tim munches after school before he goes to cross country practice, so I have to get things for him too.

Tina, tell me about the house dressing at the Barn Door. I'm always cautious about house dressings. Even though I'll never make it to the BD, I'm curious.

Tammy, the dressing at the Barn Door is a cross between garlic and green goddess. It is great. I'll have to look for the receipe. The Barn Door is a steak house in San Antonio. It's really good. My family grew up going there.

I'm taking a bunch of veggies for my lunch along with sandwich. I'm trying to be good.

Nodie, all those babies!! How fun!!! I have 6 nephews and 2 nieces. I love being with them

Tina, what's new with you?

What's new with me???
I need some support here. My psyche could use a boost.
I'm stuck and can't seem to lose anything. It's too hot to exercise outside. By the evening, I think I'm too tired to ride my exercycle, should I go on & on.
It's poor-me afternoon,
Maybe I'm a little down because I was with my mother for some time. I took her to get a blood test. Sometimes it really hits me that she's this way and won't ever get better. (Usually I can just push it to the back of my mind.)

Well, this isn't a very cheery note. Sorry about that, gang.
I hope y'all had a great OP day.
I did good until I stopped by the bakery to check on petit fours for a tea I'll be giving next month. Of course, I had to try a couple of them.

Take care,
Tina

Hi there group!

How's everyone doing? Im doing ok...having trouble staying OP every day, but Im gonna keep working on it. I have noticed that Im not drinking nearly the water as I used to, dont know why though. So thats an area that needs work...along with "stop eating"

Tina how was them petit fours? They always look soooo yummy, but I've never eaten any. Are you feeling better these days...I know it must be hard when you visit your mother.

Nola, how did you like the evening meeting? Did your daughter go with you and join? I've always like going before lunch time, that way I dont eat anything prior to W/I time *S*

Have a good weekend everyone!

Good evening,
I hope everyone had a good day & a good weekend.

Dee, thank you for asking about me. I do feel a little better today. Sometimes it really gets to me about my mother. She gets everything mixed up in her mind. She'll forget to brush her hair. she will not go to the beauty saloon in the residence because she thinks it costs too much. (She doesn't remember how to wash it herself.) It's so frustating and sad at the same time. Here I go again. Sorry about this.

I had a pretty good OP day. Tomorrow, I will hit the glasses of water. I'll be running to the restroom but that's the price we pay.

Default Happy Monday!

Hi there. Sorry it's been so long between posts for me. I was downtown in class all last week, and am now trying to finish catching up from my vacation along with catching up from being out of the office all last week. Good thing it's a fairly slow time at the bank these days!!

Didn't weigh in last week because of the class. Good thing, though, because I know I'm up. Starting today, I'm going to be better and get back on track. (How many times have I said that? Hmmmmmmm ...) I did start exercising again last week on my Total Gym, so I feel a little better about that.

Tina, I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling down. I'm sure that seeing your mother going through this is very difficult for you. I don't know that there is much that any of us here can do to help you, but please feel free to vent here any time. We do care

Tammy & Susan, sounds like school has you up and running already. Hope it's all going smoothly (or at least as smoothly as the start of the school year can possibly be)!

Dee, if you figure out how to make that "stop eating" thing work, please share

Nola, I think it's great that you're going with your daughter-in-law. I know it helped me immensely when I had people I went with every week at work. Now everyone has dropped out except for one person who has been lifetime for well over a year now, so it's not the same at all.

Ok, I guess I've avoided work long enough! Talk to you all later.

Laura~

Evening all,

Laura, it's good to hear from you. Thanks for your concern. Just having y'all to listen to me really helps. Sounds like you've been too busy since your trip. What do you miss the most about your vacation--the food? It sounded soooo good.

Tammy & Susan, how's school?

Dee, are you drinking your water again? If so, what's your secret?

Nola, how are you doing? By the way, how tall are you? 124 pounds sounds awfully small. I wish you luck getting there.
I once weighed 125. It was right before I found out I was pregnant. I'd been so sick at my stomach (and didn't know why ) that I lost weight. I'm afraid that I'll never ever see that number again.

Linda, what's up???

Tomorrow is my day off and I can't wait to relax.
I'm on my way right now to take a bubble bath. That's right, with candles and soft music. Ooohh......

How is everyone today? Susan, are you just too tired to post.
Tammy, what's going on?

I had that bubble bath last night. Oooh what luxury! I loved it.

Weigh in is nearing and I'm not ready. It's time to drown myself with water, I guess.

Honestly, I've been exhausted. I slept a lot this weekend and it seemed to help. I had open house last night. Which means today was a long day!!!!

Ya'll I'm having a tough time staying on program. I'm eating all of my points. I'm trying very hard to not go over. I just am not seeing any progress!!! I just want it all to be gone now!!! If that was the case, I guess no one would have to be ww members.

Anyway, enough feeling sorry for myself. Have to pick myself up and dust myself off!!! I want to be at goal sooooooo bad!!!

Keep up the good work. thanks for letting me vent!!

Tina, I just read your post about being down. I hope things are going better. I know how hard things are for you with everything you've gone through with your mother. Hope things are better.

Today was the 2nd day of school with students. The interpreter for the little boy with the cochlear implant is going to be great. She told me to chill and quit worrying about things. LOL
I also had a supervisor from the School for the Deaf with me all day today. She will be there once a week for the first two months of school, then once a month after that. She seems very nice, and I felt very comfortable voicing my concerns to her. I'm still afraid that I'm going to mess this little boy up for life! She laughed at me and told me to relax. I guess I need to chill and relax, right?

I also have 2 students from the multi-handicapped room who will be in my classroom for 30 minutes every day. One of them was with me last year, and I figure he can help the other little guy out.

I am totally exhausted, so I'm planning to hit my pillow very soon. Tim's first Cross Country meet was tonight. He ran 2 miles in 16 min. 57 seconds. Last year he was only under 17 minutes a couple times. I was pleased. He thought he sucked. Oh well! LOL

Take care everyone. Hope it doesn't take me so long to read messages next time.

Susan, we all know where you're coming from. What's the saying--something about it's so easy & quick to put weight on but not to take it off. (I paraphrased. ) I will tell you to be patient--if you will tell me the same thing.
Now that open house is over with, maybe you can relax for a while.

Are y'all creative? I have to do the first page of a bulletin tomorrow morning. Since I've been taking a desk top publishing course, I'm expected to do wonders. This is just not my thing. Wish me luck.
