PJ......so you say they redid your entire head..was that inside and out! Did I miss something, I looked back at the old posts and couldn't find what you were talking about, did they mess up your new hair color or what?????????? Sorry can't help you with Jackie, hope she gets feeling better, poor thing!
Ally, you NUT you I opened the Whipped PB tonight and I'll have to say after eating my DH's Jiff I don't care for the Peter Pan Whipped. That is all we ate years ago and it was fine cause I didn't have any thing to compare it to(the PP Whipped that is). But on toast with a banana it wasn't bad that was supper since DH was gone.
It was so nice here today I had to be outside and it is very frustraing to have to control my desire to work in the yard, just did a little with my good arm only! There is so much to get caught up on since it was too hot to do anything for a while.
I have had a busy saturday, skipped the gym though. I went grocery shopping and running errands, then out to lunch with my mom at pub 99, then came home and cleaned my kitchen up good, I hadn't washed my dishes in 3 days, ofcourse without the kids here I don't have many. I have laundry going now and after I post I will attack my living room, I have kind of let things slide and enjoyed my week with no kids. Oh yeah I went to wal-mart and got some school shirts for the kids, they have plenty of pants allready. Bree Just needs dress shoes, a dress or 2 for each of them and then to get my shool layaway off. They start school on Aug 28th. I have to go meet them in Portland tomorrow, boy am I tired of making that trip. I have been doing good on program but will probably blow it tomorrow in Portland, I usually do anyway.
PJ, wow you sound great. It always make you feel so much better when your hair looks good, I don't know why but it does. I am sorry Jackie is having such a hard time with TOM, I have to say it does sound unusual to me. It is good to have it checked out.
Jenn, welcome to the owls and congratulations on such a grea loss, I bet you feel great.
Candice, thanks for the Congrats, I am sorry you are having problems with your tummy, and yes lots of meds have a negative affect on our weight loss, maybe once you have been on it awhile the cravings will diminish, just try to hang in there.
FortySomething, welcome to the nest I will look forward to getting to know you. Wow sounds like you are doing great on program. Keep up the good work and feel free to share any tips you have.
Alley, good to see you. I hope you are doing well.
Setina, where are you girl?
Emmy, come out, come out wherever you are, I can see you
PJ-
You hot mama!
I'm glad you're happy with your hair. It really does make a difference when you FEEL like you look good, eh?
Candice-
I agree with you about the Jif PB being better tasting than the Peter Pan Whipped. Jif is my favorite. I wish they would "whip" theirs, too! I DO, however, like the consistancy of the whipped and I don't usually eat it without something else on it...(such as FLUFF!! ) The Jif, on the other hand, I can eat right out of that darn jar!
Brenda-
Sounds like you are pretty much all set for school to start. So is my son!! He LOVES school and is going into first grade on Sept 6. Have a safe trip (again) to Portland....bring me back a lobster roll sandwich or whatever they call them that I wanna try.
Hey! The chat room is EMPTY on a Sat night? I CAN'T be the only one without a life tonight, can I?? Hee-hee!
Had a blast at the party last night and wouldn't have gone over my points if it weren't for the Corona's with lime
It's 12:38pm and I'm just now getting ready to go out. Talk about sleeping in !!!!!! No church today and I still have to get my sons school supplies.....talk about being "behind". Geeezz!!!!!!!
Just wanted to stop in and say Hi. I'll be back tonight sometime....maybe you'd all like to meet in the chatroom say......around 10pm??????? I've got to make sure the kids are ready for their first day of school tomorrow so I know I wont be able to get there before then......so if any of you want to meet up..I'll be there at that time.
See you later,
Hugs,
~Pamela~
Bren, I just realized you hit your 10%. That is so wonderful. Congratulations, girlfriend!
PJ school supplies... .I'll be doing that this week for our leaving-for-college son. Ouch. We take him next weekend. I'm already missing him!
Ally, I bought the whipped PB and spread it on a piece of toast and I swear I was in heaven! You lost so much weight, tell me your best weapon against weight gain!

Good morning everyone!! I'm back from my vacation and thought that I would drop in and say HI!
Things are hopping around here as usual. We just came back from a week at the cottage. It's not our cottage, but we have been renting it for the last 5 years, every week at this time of the year. We had the best weather ever!! It has been very hot here in Northern Ontario. Usually we get fairly nice weather over the months of July and August, but this year was the exception. It has been so hot with lots of humidity. It was great to be able to sit on the grass and just jump in the water when you got hot. I did more swimming this year then ever. Even did an after supper swim, cause we were so hot. Scott and his buddy did a late night swim and they really enjoyed that. We did get one storm and the power went out for a while. Actually that turned out to be quite nice, as the three groups of people in the cottages all sat around and chatted that night.
Our cottage actually used to be Rob's aunts old house. It's not a fancy house or anything, but it does have electricity, running water and an indoor bathroom. I'm still not fond of the outhouse. Anyways, because of the power being out, I couldn't use the bathroom the morning I got up, as the pump runs it, so I held on and held on, but finally had a major sh** attack and had to run to the outhouse a the last moment. Just as I sat down, I hear someone yelling.......the power is on!! What luck!! Regardless, we had our best year ever!!
Today is Scott's birthday. He turns the big 9!! Hard to believe. I'm taking them mini-putting and then back here for supper. Not too many kids this year and no treat bags. Told him, he's getting kind of old for that.
PJ: Had to laugh about the Corona! Every since we tried it at your place last year, we like to buy it here. Unfortunately it costs about $20.00 for 12 beer. But we were on holidays, so we deserve it.
I work a couple shifts this week and then it's off to hockey camp with Scott on Saturday. I get to be the camp nurse. Should be an interesting experience, as it's my first time. We get a lot of kids coming from the US here. There actually are 2 boys that come for the whole summer from Manhattan, NY. Must be a bit of a shock coming way north and in the middle of the bush. It's great though with lots of swimming and water sports and of course, daily hockey.
Well that's all for now. Take care and just wanted to let you all know that I'm back for a while. Scott doesn't start school until September 6th.
Hi Everyone, I went to my ww meeting tonight instead of tomorrow and I think I will switch to mondays, I liked the group much better. I lost 3.4#'s this week so that was nice too. I can't believe it, I guess I am really getting used to being on program. I wouldn't eat or drink before weighing in and I was ravished and knew I would make bad choices if I didn't do something so I made a boca burger, and took a ff yogurt and a diet coke, I went early weighed in and went out to my car and ate dinner then went back in for the meeting. So it all worked out.
Jennie, wow you are doing great, getting lots of steps in. I used to have a pedometer but it died when it went through the spin cycle Oh well, have to get another one soon, I found it made me more active wanting those numbers to go up.
Judy, thank you soooo much, I truly feel so much better about myself since I have got it under control. I just hope I don't fall off the wagon again, when I do it usually means I am off it for quite awhile.
PJ, I don't know if I will still be up or not, I am not much of a late night owl lately but I will try it would be fun to chat with you again. I am not sure if the disney thing is going to happen, my sister and her husband are not doing well and may be getting a divorce, but there is still hope for the trip.
Alley, thanks we had a nice safe trip and I won't have to make it again til sept 7th, and that time I will be going all the way up to the Bar Harbor region to visit my best friend up there. One good thing though is the kids will be staying here, my mom is keeping them for me.
well i'm off tonight last night we were tore up and believe it or not i walked more last night . 4.9 miles for a grand total of 12.9 miles in 3 days how many pts would that be?
talk to ya'll later good loss punky i'll weigh in in the morning
Hi everybody. I usually lurk here (I post over on the WW at home board) but I wanted to let P.J. know my daughter had the same problem with TOM a couple of years ago. Her doctor did put her on the Pill for three months. She skipped her period several months after she went off it, but has been normal since then. Hope you get Jackie help soon, especially with school starting. I got called twice from my daughter's school that she needed me to bring her a change of clothes.
