Hey all! I notice that our daily/weekly/ now monthly threads are totally dwindling...and there are a bunch of newbies on the board that don't post on those threads..so I thought I would put out a challenge to get the board hoppin' again (hopefully!!)
IN the past, Ali has gotten us into the Self challenge. Idon't know if they are running that this year, but whether you are doing that or not, please join this challenge!
I am starting a Spring challenge (challenging YOURSELF and being accountable with us, not challenging us, of course). I was thinking we'd use June 1 as our goal date, as many of you down south actually have summer then!! That gives us just over ten weeks to see some results and get ready for summer!
I think we should make 1-3 goals, not necessarily weight related, and see if we can achieve them by June 1.
If anyone has any suggestions, please feel free to post them!
My goals are:
1: Journal daily
2: Exercise 3x/week
3: Check in on progress here weekly.
I would really like to meet my 10% goal by June 1. Another goal would be to keep accountable to you folks on the boards (I've been on a few boards but I never stay on them!) and check in regularly. Woooo! I'm excited.
My name is Jenn I'm from FL and have joined WW right before X-mas. Things have been going well (not without the downturns). I am getting married next spring and I figured its never too early to start.
I think your challenge Idea is great. I definatley need something to motivate me in these upcoming moths. My three goals are...

2)Exercise 4 times a week
3)Meet my goal weight by June 1st

Hi Belle, Toosh, Jenn and KO. If you're still doing the Spring Challenge I'd love to join! I'm new to this place, and to WW. I'm not doing meetings or anything so the extra accountability and support would be wonderful.
Here are my goals for June 1st:

2) Lose 15lbs by the end of the challenge (app 1.5lbs per week)
3) Post updates a minimum of 1 time per week

Good morning! Decided to add another goal. I will only weigh myself once a week. I have a nasty habbit of weighing in every morning, and seeing the scale go up a bit, or even stay put is rather depressing. So, my weigh in day will be Friday
New Goals:
1) Exercise at least 3 times per week
2) Lose 15lbs by the end of the challenge (app 1.5lbs per week)
3) Post updates a minimum of 1 time per week
4) Weigh-ins ONCE a week (Friday)
One exercise session done for the week... and I plan on going to the gym again tonight and tomorrow night. I won't be able to go on Friday, and realistically probably won't make it over the weekend. That means I really need to go tonight and tomorrow night to meet my goal!

I'm surviving the day having no food from home!
DH left the fridge open all night so I have a feeling my yogurt is gooone
Bagel and fruit for breakfast and wendys for lunch so thats pretty easy to stay OP
still havent' gotten to exercise but when I get home i don't have to cook tonight so yay me time! after laundry

All is well here. I haven't weighed myself in three days, which is a HUGE accomplishment for me. When I was at the gym last night I was sooooo tempted to do so but I just walked right by that evil scale. It felt good. One of my goals was to only weigh in once a week. I can't wait to jump on the scale tomorrow morning and see the results.
Weigh in this morning! I'm down to 158 (3lb loss). That puts me on track to hit my June 1st goal of a total of a 15lb loss. Got my lazy butt to the gym THREE times this week! That means all my goals were met for the week. Fingers crossed that I stay on plan over the weekend.
