Mine aren't the perkiest to begin with, at a D or sometimes C (yay! getting smaller!) cup. I am a bit afraid of them getting worse. Of course, your pregnancy was a good excuse Jen! Ihave NONE.
Any goal/lifetimers care to comment? Tips?? anything??
Belle - I lost 30 pounds and did not experience any sagginess. However, I was a C cup and went to a B, so they're not real big to begin with! But if you are worried about it, I'd say to do some weights that target the chest area - it really helps firm them up!!
Jen - I think part of the reason I am such a cheese freak is that WI cheese is so good!! I lived in Arizona for a few years, where they sell California cheese at the store and it just didn't cut it! You are soooo right when you said if you want a hunk of cheese to naw on, it has to be real! (Now I want a nice piece of cheddar...)
I like em better now. I'm small too (B) so maybe I'm not the expert you're looking for. However, I have found that push-ups (the exercise, not the bra) help firm the muscles underneath, making the overall visual effect more flattering.
Jen2... I know CA is a big competitor in the milk/cheese business now. But about 4 years ago I traveled there for work and we toured a cheese plant and tested, etc.... Honest opinion... was not as good as ours. Although they did have a good montery jack. We live very close to a town called Colby.. home of Colby cheese (where is was created). Hubby grew up just down the road from there. Well to make a long story short.... We met at the Colby Cheese Days festival. How weird is that. Oh and they give out free cheese there!
Ohhh cheeseeeeeeee! Well... I am outta here for the weekend! BY BY EVERYONE!
Jen: No fair! I wanna go home too!!!
Belle: Honey, I've been saggy since I was in high school...I actually had an exboyfriend tell me that since I was fat, my boobs would be sagging the rest of my life. Like he could talk! He was three times my size!! It has always been a touch subject with me, but DH doesn't care! Like Jen, the problem lies with me. My mom said maybe to have reconstructive surgery if it meant that much but when I approached the subject with DH, he got angry that I'd spend that much money on something cosmetic. I just make sure I have a good, supportive bra on and then people can't tell. I hate having to wear a bra with lingerie, though. But, since I'm smaller, I can find sexy bras at Victoria's Secret. Hmmm, I need to go there!
Sorry about the long "boob" subject...I just know EXACTLY where you're coming from.
Boss is back. Gotta Go!
Stacey - thanks for sharing, yours sound like mine! Mine have never ever been perky - I have always worn a bra and been very self conscious.
Only recently would I let b/f see them sans bra while standing, and I was so embarassed of them. He was tactful and said how he thought they were beautiful. I said I wanted surgery (and I do!) but he thought I was ridiculous.
I wear good supportive bras too, partly b/c they are so big (bigger they are harder they fall?) and a bra with lingerie....
SIGH! Oh well, at least there is someone else who understands!
WEll, I must get some work done. Craving gin adn tonic!! Is tonic water free? Must find out!!
I weighed myself at home this morning and the scale said 180. I was ecstatic. But at WI, I only lost .2! I honestly think the scale at this particular meeting — where I don't usually go — is different than my usual one. This is happened before — I was sure I lost about a pound and I lost only .4 or something.
I can't let this get me down, though. I can't stop trying, right? I've been doing really well lately, exercising in some form every day, and I just had a healthy lunch. An eggplant panini sandwich with a little tomato sauce and cheese, a few tortilla chips and a side salad. Yummy. I didn't feel overly full afterward, either.
Good news! My b/f is off all weekend! I think we're going to a blues festival tomorrow, and then, if it doesn't rain, Sunday we're going to rent a boat on the lake again. But I fear it's going to rain! Boo-hoo.
