Hi Ladies.
Congrats to all the ladies that worked out this week!! I have been going to the gym working out on the elliptical machine or treadmill. It can really be a struggle to get myself motivated to go. I went to Schnucks store and purchased some flavored water and it has helped. Best wishes on your weigh in days!

Ughhh what a day. I feel like i just sat down. I had really nasty meetings today where it felt like no one agreed on anything including me. I hate when people talk about my clients like they are animals and they are right in the room. Basically it comes down to a human rights violation and what is and what isnt. I say it is and they say it isnt and they need my signature in order for it to happen. Then two of my clients where having complete meltdowns. One was over the use of the phone. They wouldnt let her ( anther violation) and another was mad because it wasnt her birthday. I mean she was screaming and smacking people and punching staff. It was crazy. So... me with my 4 years of teaching preschool under my belt. We planned her imginary birthday party. I left work an hour late. I went to WW and gained 2.8 pounds. Just lovely.... I almost had a meltdown. Now i just inhaled 4 slices of sicilian pizza and i want to crawl into bed and go to sleep. I am pooped. I hope you all had a better day than i did.. Ciao!

morning ladies!

Welcome LuckyDuck!
Misty - It sounds like things are working out for you! I'm so glad to hear all your good news! Yippee for you on 30 minutes on the treadmill! It's amazing how well those things work once you find them underneath the laundry and other misc. stuff, hunh? lol
Fost - so nice to see you! Yea, I hear the flavored waters are a great idea. I've never honestly given them a shot!
Daffadil71 - Urghhhhh! Sounds rough girl! But that was so awesome having an inmaginary birthday for her! Nice! Very, very nice!
Well I have been going to the gym for about 3 weeks (at least 4 times a week) and I haven't lost anything! I know that my eating hasn't been terrific but it sure hasn't been that bad either. I actually thought I was doing very well. Everyone keeps telling me that it is because fat is turning into muscle, yada yada yada................but.............I'm not seeing that either! I have "THE" doctors appt. today...........yuck.........I'm sure we'll discuss my weight and all there today. Well gotta get the DD's off to school. Have a great day everyone. Talk to you later!

Default Woo-hooo! Weekend vaca. and spa!

We are going to Cape Cod this weekend--staying in a pretty darn nice hotel with a huge indoor pool complex--wave pool, etc. Has a fitness room which I promise I will use. Best part of all--I am going to the spa for a therapeutic scalp treatment--essential oils, clay masque, big ol' head massage and deep conditioner. This will be the best physical experience I've had recently (no offense to my DH, but he doesn't give long head massages).

I wasn't too strict with Core this week, and I may not have lost. I don't think I gained, so I guess Status Quo is where I am for now.

I hope everyone has a great weekend! We are really looking forward to this family time away--my son has been home about 3 weeks and is in a really good place. It's nice to be together again.

Best wishes to all.

Wow Elana that sounds like a nice vacation. You are so lucky!I could use a weekend at the spa. CApe Cod is so pretty. We went last April and it was nice because there weren't a lot of tourists. I hope you have a great time. You guys deserve it. It's also great that your son is doing so well.

Jeanne maybe you hit a plateau or something. They also told us last night at our meeting that when we start working out, that our muscles hold on to fluid while they are growing. Maybe thats whats happening. How do your clothes feel? I hope everything went well at "the DR" blech..I hate going. Its so humiliating. I always end up ripping that little robe. Its always 20 degrees in there. Very uncomfortable.

I had some divine Pizza intervention this evening. I got home from the gym. I had a great workout. I almost did 3 miles in 45 min which is good for me. I walk in the door and remember we have leftover Pizza in the fridge. I make a beeline for the fridge and grab the plate without even thinking about points or anything because i am starving. As i grab the plate i knock over an entire container of fresh mushrooms and as i bend over to pick them up i wack my head on the refridgerater door. Needlees to say someone was trying to tell me something so i put it back and ate a yogurt. Score one for the diet angel that lives in my fridge. Pretty freaky....

morning girls~
It is so nice to see all the posts this morning!
Elana - enjoy all that dang attention! Mmmmm~! Sounds wonderful! I could use one too!
Hey Erin, yes I have heard that about hitting a plateau! So, I'm sure that is definately part of it! The Dairy Queen (yikes) opening, may be the other part! haha! Just kidding - I've gone..........but definately eaten it in moderation! About the retaining water thing........my rings have been very snug and my fingers seem very swallon?!?!? Ya suppose that has something to do with it too? Love your story about the leftover pizza and fresh mushrooms. Yes, I think someone was trying to tell you something. lol!

Well I really don't have anything too new to report! Nothing big on my agenda for today.........a lazy day ahead I guess! Have a great sunday. And..............I can try to start the new thread???????!?!?!?! Never done it, but I'll give it a shot.........so, see ya all there. (hopefully)! lol~

Luckyduck I want you to know that your comment "I've come too far to take orders from a cookie!" has really been one I have planted in my mind to bring back when I need it! I think I saw it posted also somewhere in someone's signature so whoever you are, thanks too!
