I like both of those too, Jeanne and Fost. Michelina's makes a lean gourmet brand tha tI can often get on sale for $1 each, it's regular price is far cheaper than the healthy choice, smart ones or lean cuisne. But the healthy choice is by far my favorite for dinner as they ahve a heartier meal that usually runs around 7 points. Also, I have been trying to make individual sized meals to freeze from left overs. I really like my george foreman latley. I buy 10 pounds bags or individually frozen chicken breasts from BJ's and I chave been cooking one of thso eon teh george foreman and microwaving a cup each of two different veggies for dinner. If you have about a 3-4 ounce chicken breast and 2 cups of 0 point veg it's a 3 point dinner, leaving room for a little snack later.

I have to cook fo rmy family but often what they like is dfferent than what I want to spend my points on, so I make myself something different. What I choose has to be quick and easy b/c I don't ahve time to cook two meals.

There are some great recipes on here that freeze well, like the balsamic glazed chicken and I think the enchilada recipe I had was from this site as well.

Hope this helps a little

Smile Weight Watcher BRacelets

Thanks for the tips Ladies! I went to the store this evening and picked up a few frozen entrees. I am going to dust off my George Foreman and start grilling.
This is my first day at Weight Watchers. I hope that I do well this week. Has anyone used the Weight Watcher bracelets? I went to the YWCA and logged 2 miles on the elliptical machine.

Talking

Tuna/Crackers

Yogurt

Oatmeal

Sandwhich (on wheat) and raw veggies

Snack on Sugar Snap Peas (ready to eat kind)

Smoothie (breakfast)

Baked Porkchop (fast) and cooked frozen brocolli or canned asparagus

Salad (not my favorite)

Boil eggs at beginning of week and eat the egg whites, and you can make egg salad with them.

Open a can of chicken (like the tuna), mix ff mayo (or yogurt) and whatever else you want to make chicken salad.

WW Muffins

Buy a fruit tray at the beginning of the week. Feels like a luxury.

Pitas or Wraps coated with Hummas and stuffed with deli sliced turkey and filled with veggies like red bell pepper, cucumbers, tomato slices, ...fill in the blank. Watch the content of the pitas and wraps. They are not created equal.

I carry energy bars when I'm on the go. I try to avoid eating them, but they work when I'm out shopping and I'm a little late getting home and it's either break down and eat mcd's or eat the energy bar in my purse. I'm doing good.

A few of my favorites:

Laughing cow cheese wedges 1 point each
great with Low fat wheat thins, on celery, in scrambled eggs, on a bagel, inside a rolled chicken breast....

light english muffins 1 point, I have with PB, or honey, or jam. Sometimes I make my own Mc breakfast sand.

Chicken breasts- I don't buy the big frozen bag anymore-too many chemicals and very high on sodium. I now buy the big pack of fresh when on sale and freeze them in smaller packs. I'll bake or grill some up and use in salads, wraps etc.

ff frozen waffles rock-super w/ PB like toast. A little goes along way since it melts!

I like Lean Cuisines best-the pizza rocks, I usually have a salad with mine.

Low fat graham crackers made into sandwhiches with ff coolwhip and frozen. 1 point each! I call them grammy's.

I try to have a veggie and a salad with my dinner meal-I try!

I'm getting hungry now, going to bed! I'm sure I'll think of more!

Laughing Cow cheese is awesome! Also Kashi makes crackers that are unbelievably good.

Low fat yogurt is a treat for me.

My favorite in all the world is to make coffee and add non fat Kroger brand Hot Chocolate mix 25 calories and then I have a mocha coffee saves my butt.

Pretty easy:
--a baked potato, cottage cheese and salsa

--a can of beans, rinsed well, mixed with a light vinaigrette dressing

--the Near East rice pilafs (it's not brown rice, so the fiber could be higher)

--a frozen waffle with almond or peanut butter and sliced banana

--cottage cheese mixed with applesauce, a little cinnamon on top

Great Ideas as usual Ladies. I started WW on Monday. I have been doing good so far. I hope that I can keep it up. I recently purchased Dr. Phil's book on Weight Loss, so, I hope that it will keep me encouraged. Thanks.

I try to incorporate Dr. Phil's keys with WW as well. WW has some great tools for living which sort of coincide with Dr. Phils exercises do a degree. I think using all the tools availble to you that work for you is a gerat approach.

Great job so far!
