Default New with questions

Hello, I'm new to 3FC and just finished my first week with WW, in my first week I lost 2.4 lbs. I am happy, but a little dissapointed because I have heard so many people say they lost the MOST weight within the FIRST weeks before it slows down later on. So is this my rate of weight loss? I guess I was expecting more, because I hardly used any flex points. And sometimes I had to eat more to just get in my 20 daily points.

WELCOME!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great job on your first week!!!!! 2.4 is a GREAT loss. I know we all want to see 5, but really the average is 1/2-2 pounds a week, so 2.4 is really good. Make sure you are drinking your water, add a little exercise. And don't be afraid to use those flex points! Back in the old days WW gave you a range of points (22-26 or something like that). You could eat them or bank them, but you had to eat the minimum. But they found that that minimum might be a bit low, so they switched the program to flex, allowing you to us ethem as you need them and increasing the minimum. You have to make sure you are eating enough (weird I know when you're trying to lose weight).

Don't try to lose too much at once, slow and steady wins the race. The slower it comes off in a consistent manner the easier it is to maintatin that loss. AGAIN Welcome. Feel free to jump into any of our other threads. We have a Valentines' Day Challenge as well as a weekly chat thread.
