Hi, everyone. My name's Maggie. I'm starting Weight Watchers today. I can't afford to go to meetings, but I have all the materials and I'm going to try to do it at home. I've been having a hard time of things lately, but today I woke up and vowed to:
1. Forget all my past weight-loss failures.
2. Eat no more than my allotted 30 points.
3. START ... even though it's not Monday or Saturday.
4. Take my vitamins.
5. Take my thyroid med.
6. Drink 80 ounces of water.
7. Do some sort of exercise.
8. Avoid calling myself names for being overweight.
9. Check back in here tonight and post my points and daily food log, and offer support wherever I can.
10. Not think past today.
I hope it's OK that I join you ladies. I have a sneaking suspicion that this is one **** of a support group.
