If you're really uneasy about it, tell your leader that you don't want her to make a big deal out of it. If you want the keychain, ask her to give it to you at the scale or in private, or tell her you don't want it at all (if you don't). You can always ask the leader not to focus on you at your "milestones" if you don't want that attention. I'm sure she'll understand. And you know what? That "black magic number" 30 just lost its magic. Now, it's just another terrific goal you will accomplish and move past. We took the icky out of Lisa's 6-week curse; we can do it for your 30-pound curse! Never underestimate the power of da sistas, sista!

Just checking in and saying hi.

I haven't been exercising to well this week. I've only done my DVD one day, but I've at least walked on my lunch Tuesday and today. Thank goodness this period week is pretty much over. And the work week. Tomorrow is my Friday, so wooohoo

Hope everyone had a good day!

Hi, everybody!! I'm just checking. I took a sick day from work today. I had quite the migraine during the night, and although I felt better in the morning, I still didn't feel well enough to work. I'm feeling a whole lot better now though I even felt well enough to exercise. I did Leslie Sansome's Walk & Jog dvd.

Consequently, my eating has pretty much sucked today!! Here's what I've had:

Breakfast:
my regular cereal and skim milk: 4 pts

Snack:
ice cream sandwich: (2 pts)
cherry vanilla dr. pepper: (3 pts)

Lunch:
bbq meat (6 pts)
potato chips (3 pts)

Supper:
cereal and skim milk (4 pts)

I don't know where the 22 points went to!!!

Does anyone else do exercise videos? Which ones do you like to do?

Have a good night, and I'm sorry I didn't keep up with the chatter to reply to everyone today. Maybe tomorrow...sorry!

Hiya sistas!! I'm home now and glad to be back! And let me tell you, when Lisa says she's doing some cleaning, she means business! The place looks wonderful!!

Well, I haven't gotten much exercise at all so far this week- I tried to go swimming while I was at my brother's place, but the swimming beach, oh man, the water was ice cold!! I just couldn't do it, but I tried, I really did! It reminded me of when I lived in Oregon and we couldn't walk in the water because it made our bones ache!

Cal- i hear you on the reading list. Your list is much, much longer than mine!! I think i have somewhere around 25 for my AM comp and then about 6 for my PM comp. And the PPD- ha! I know what you mean.

All of you sound like you're doing great, and I'm so proud of you. I'm still OP despite going to the bar for dinner and drinks last night with my brother. And I didn't eat ANY of the birthday cake at the party yesterday. I did, however, climb up on a picnic table and chase down a boy with a noise maker and take it away from him... Well, I'm not a saint...

I'm sick. I have a bad cold- sinus pressure, headache, congested, the whole nine yards. Plus now my chest hurts, and my back between my shoulder blades. I hope it's not pneumonia! I have an appointment tomorrow for the dr so maybe I'll get some antibiotics... I'm leaving on vacation (to Duluth MN- yay!) on Sunday, so cross your fingers for me- I want to be better by then! I'll have to post a bunch while I'm home this week so you guys won't forget all about me while I'm gone!! I'm hopeing to check out a laptop from my english dept to take along so I can keep up with you busy, chatty girls!

Ok, this is terribly long and I should go spend some time with my boy- Tom and Jerry is on! Best time of the day...

Good evening all -
Had a good day today. Slept a bit later than usual, got up and stepped on the scale and found that the 2# I lost on Friday stayed off so I'm down 2# for my "official weigh-in", took my walk, and had breakfast. Then went and got my hair cut and permed. I wear my hair short and it was so shaggy ... I looked like my puppy, only he's supposed to be shaggy with hair hanging in his eyes ... and it looks a whole lot better on him! Came home and had lunch, read and took a little nap. Can you tell I'm enjoying having two days off? Have to work tomorrow and Friday so will be back into the routine.

Misty - you'll have that key chain before you know it. I hear what you're saying on the Eng Muffin points - I really have to watch the labels on yogurt as that stuff really varies. I check nutrition labels on everything just to make sure nothing changed (or I didn't pick up the wrong package!). Regarding your deli sliced turkey, I use Hillshire Farms Deli Sliced and it's 1 pt for 2 oz - that's 5 slices. Makes a great sandwich!

luflic - I'm sure your leader will understand if you tell her you don't want any acknowledgement when you get your key-chain. But please don't feel embarrassed - you surely are not the heaviest person to do WW. Everyone at your meeting (and on this board) knows exactly how hard it is to stay OP and you should be proud of yourself. I usually start drifting off plan at about 25-30 pounds also, but I'm not going to do that this time. So hang in there with me -- okay?

Hippo - My feet shrunk too!!! But on the up side, I have ankles. I have had a problem with my feet and legs swelling in the heat for years and have had no swelling at all. Haven't taken a fluid pill all summer and I know it's a combination of my walking and drinking more water. Now if I can just move it up my thunder thighs and butt, I'll be a happy camper!

Liz, IaSteph and Lori - I hope you all feel better. Oh Lori - how I wish I were going on vacation to Duluth. I grew up about 40 miles north of there and still have my mom and family in that area. I love Duluth and the North Shore. Beautiful country!

Everyone enjoy their evening and will talk to you all tomorrow - I don't attend meetings so get all my support from 3FC and the Sistas and I am so glad to be a part of this group ... have to go drink one more glass of water (just to insure that I have to get up at least once during the night!) ... Bev

Hi everyone! I'm here. I've been offline for awhile- just not feeling up to it. Not a bad day, just a *eh* day.

Today has been a free day of sorts- the best thing is that I only used 4 flex points! Yay! I still have 29 left until Saturday....LOL....

I got a new scale today! I don't know yet how it matches up with my old one- I'll do all of that tomorrow- but it's a nice one. I'm so glad. It's the little things that tickle me.

BTW- it really makes me feel good that people wonder where I am. Thanks for being so thoughtful, ladies!!!

Good evening all!

I only have a minute then it's off to bed. DH is annoyed that I am in the ofice again LOL. Yeah well I am annoyed he had to go his parents' house not once but twice tonight so

Anyway...
GREAT JOB BEV!!

Welcome back Lori!! I hope you are feeling better soon!

Stephanie don't worry about keeping, just get better.

Lizzy I'm sooo jealous! Thursdays used to be my Fridays, but now I have teh Kids M-F. Well enjoy it, even work doesn't seem so bad when the end is in sight.

Luflic-My leader asks us at the scale if it's ok for her to aknowledge us. So if you don't wnat to be publically aknowledged, which I completly understand, just tell her privatley. She will udnerstand too.

Ok ladies off to bed. Seriously, I need to get up in the morning and walk. It's the only chance I will get without kids. Have a fabulous night everyone!

You know that saying, "A bagel in the purse is worth 3 in the stomach"? No?! Well, I got a bagel w/light cream cheese on my break and ate half of it and stuck the rest of it (wrapped) into my purse. I barely noticed the first half but boy oh boy was I anxious the rest of the night knowing that I still had half left. When I got home, I finally had it and it was just so very good! Amazing how much better that half was with the wait and such heh.

Other than that, just a boring day for me. Slept until I had to go to work. Went to work and now I am back home to go back to sleep heh. Tomorrow I am going to be apartment hunting and hopefully collecting some boxes along the way.
