Achoo, I have a cold which is in full force right now and laryngitis which really sucks when you work retail. But I get the enxt few days off so I have to clean, put up curtains, do laundry, set up furniture, cure the world of all known diseases, you know the usual.

I had a bad Friday, my best guy friend and I went to red lobster on Friday to celebrate being employed... Boy was dinner AND dessert yummy. Oh well, I generally don't do that, I have been far worse. At least we took a walk afterwards.

I bought a few books this weekend, Looney Spoons cookbook as well as the Crazy Plates one. Also the book "Thin For Life" It has a TON of tips for people not only lsing weight but also for people maintaining.

Anyhoo, Take Care!

Ali - I have those cookbooks too. Ther are some really good recipes. In looney spoons, I like Lasagna with Mex-appeal. there is a good rice recipe that I like in one of them. It has dried apricots, green pepper and onion - kind of Indian feel. Enjoy the books. I am sure that you will be fine by your next WI even after a big meal at RL.

Good afternoon everyone!

Belle ~ Glad to hear you had it out, you don't deserve treatment like that, even if he said he doesn't mean it!!! Seriously consider your relationship, I still think you are way too good for him!

Ali ~ Sorry to hear you have a cold, but your Red Lobster outing sounds fabulous! Love that place!

Lisa ~ I wish I hadn't gain anything in 2001, I am not doing very well, and know I have about 8 pounds to lose to get back to personal goal, I have to hit it starting NOW!!!!

ILGBG ~ Congrats on your loss!! That is a huge loss!!!!

Sarah ~ Enjoy your dad visiting, I love visiting with family, I am sure work is going really slow for you! Post away here, that will make the day go by faster!!

Jen ~ Sounds like you had a great Mom's Day. Love your gift! My kids got my 2 red carnations, and wished me a happy day. Couldn't ask for more.....

Brenda ~ Great weekend! Don't worry about the Chinese, that and Mexican are such a downfall for me. You didn't do too bad, I am sure it will not show on the scale.

Lori ~ Glad your wedding went well. I love going to weddings, cause I love dressing up!!!

KO ~ I hope you get your medication straightened out. Great grades!!

Trish ~ Glad to hear you got a new fridge. I hope you like it. I never thought I would like a freezer-bottom fridge, but you don't realize how little you are in a freezer for it to matter....now, stuff it with good things to eat!!

Hello! To those that I missed.....

Well, as for me, I told everyone last week, that I was going to shape up and start journalling again and exercising. But, that didn't happen, my jeans feel tight and I know I have gained at least 8 pounds from my all time low, I have to regroup TODAY!! So, I ate a cake donut for breakfast, veggie soup for lunch, and am making stir fry for supper, so my first day is good, and I am GOING to stay OP from here on out!!!!

I went biking yesterday, and hope that I can go for a walk tonight if the weather cooperates. I ate gaining back weight, and I only have myself to blame....eating those fattening foods makes me only short term happy, why don't I realize that when I am shoving the food in my mouth????? AHHHHH!!!!!

Anyway, had a great Mother's Day, and DH and I are going away for the weekend this weekend, which will be the first since our honeymoon 5 years ago. So, it is a much needed vacation away (without the kids), but I will miss the kids none the less!!!

I am only working til Thursday this week, and now that my DD is out of school, I am able to work 7:00 a.m. til 3:30 each day, so I have more of the afternoon to spend with the kids. I love being able to make my own hours, the benefits of working for the University!!

Anyway, I have rambled on enough! Talk a little later!!!

Default Buffet...

Took mom to a buffet for mom's day...it was decadent!! I haven't even counted the points yet (roughly) but I ate an eggs benedict (YUM) and dessert.....lots of fruit and stuff too. Oh well, I will be v.g. the rest of the week!! and I walked to work again today, very impressed with myself!!

jen- sounds like a great mom's day for you!!

Kierie - its diana krull! I like her too!! My dad always copies her stuff for me.

Suzanne and Tonya- yeah, I know.......those words DID hurt, and he sure didn't deserve a second chance, but you know, we really do work awesome together (the ups of the rollercoaster are really good!) I just don't want any more downs......its was like 40% downs, which was getting a bit much. Hopefully this will work out now.

Suzanne - 3.8!! Way to go!! Woo hoo!!

Lisa - join the club....I am the "stay the same" girl this week too... . But this week hopefully all that carido will kick in!!

Ali - is your best guy friends a potential or just friends...just curious .

Well, I gotta run....

Default Woohoo, almost time to go!

I am ready to get out of here!!!! It has been a very slow day!!! I did get a lot of school work done but I have a feeling that I might be burnt out on it for tomorrow. I will try again. I really can't wait to be done with the whole thing.

I have had 14 points so far today which isn't too terrible considering that I am not havng a real dinner. I am abou to head out to the gym and then go waste time atthe mall before my meeting. there will be food there but my friends is bring veggies and FF dip at least. I may get subway at the mall or something. It just depends on whether or not I find things I like or get bored with shopping.

I hope everyone has a great evening.

Jen - what is you PrePG weight? You are doing great, I am sure you will be there soon

See you all tomorrow

Sarah... I was 197 pre-PG and was on WW and still trying to lose. I am a very slow loser and had all intentions to be much lower before I got PG. Oh well. I am back at it tho and not trying to waste a minute. I don't want to be heavy my whole life, so I decided that 2 months after Emma was born I would re-join.... that just so happened to be Jan 1.... So it wasn't a New Years resolution for me... Just a "get my butt back in gear and get this PG weight off so I can get back to where I was !"

Belle... It's Monday and I am having a bad day. I couldn't believe it myself!!

Default I'm back!!!!

You guys probably thought I fell of the face of the planet! We are all moved and somewhat settled now so I think I can finally get back into a solid routine. I hav'nt been really following WW, but I am happy to say that I have held my own for the last 6 weeks. I've been more on plan in the last 2 weeks and have been getting a lot more excercise in.

I found out that I have a medical problem to that can be fixed with diet but guess what that means?? I can't have any dairy, wheat or sugar. Period. So I am up with a whole new challenge of trying to find foods I can eat.
What a struggle.......

Well, gotta run. There is still so much to do. I won't have time to go back and catch up on old posts, so I'm just starting fresh from here. I'll chat with you all later.

Hello all.

Emily: glad you are back.

Belle: Glad you had a talk with your bf this weekend. Stick to your guns and don't let him talk to you like that again! It is hard when the in heat of the moment...but you are so on teh right path.

Tonya: I know you can get back OP. Maybe start with small steps and each day or other day add something back in so that it is not so much at once. First add the journaling that the water and then the exercise or what ever works for you. Nip it in the bud and I know you will feel better...you are doing great! and i know it will be easy.

Brenda: I just have ot say here that you did SO GREAT last weekend!!!! I am so happy for you!! and will follow your weekend example of staying in control.

Jen: You are doing so great as well (many of you are)...but I just wanted to say that I knew that preg weight would come off if you were diligent. You will be back to prepreg weight in no time!! Great job!!

Hello to eveyone else. Sorry I don't have more time to post...internet police. ahh.

Talk with you later

Default Hi girlies!

I missed you! The Internet service was down at work all day and I'm finally able to get on.

Congrats to all the losers ... Jen, Suzanne ... did I miss anyone?

Belle: Glad you had that talk with BF. Be strong! If he's a jerk, stay true to your word! If you think about it, the way he's treating you is kind of like patterns you see in domestic violence victims (without the violence, of course). He's mean and rotten, but then apologizes and says he wasn't himself. You forgive him, and there's a brief happy period, and then he's mean again. You deserve so much better.

Uh, oh! I just saw the time. I'm going to visit a house that's for rent. It has a fenced-in yard, which I need for my dogs!

Talk later...
