anyhoo, had my colpolscopy done yesterday and yup I have some dysplasia so they have taken a sample to check on what kind of cells they are. I have another appointment in January... It wasn't too bad actually and I got to see my cervix on screen.
Anyway, I am still stressed and self-medicated on DQ last night.... oops... Anyhoo, back on track today adn as much as possible this week, though this will be a tough week.
Goodmorning!! I am up FAR too early today, so hopefully that means I can go to bed early? I wish! Luckily I have tomorrow off, because it's just really hard to get back into this working stuff... ick!

Aimee: A colpolscopy is like an extended pap smear where they check for abnormal cells, if they find any they then test it (they found some). Dysplasia basically are cell changes. Oh, I have an interview at Reitmans today... I am still waiting to hear from Laura and had an interview wth Northern yesterday... I shall see! Hope you feel better soon!
Ali - If you get the job at Reitmans we'll be working for the same company!! Oh imagine your discounts... you get discounts at Smart Set, R W & Co, Pennington's, Addionelle, and of course your store too! And if you ever get preggo? Thyme Maturnity also is owned by Reitmans... they pay pretty crappily.. unless you've got previous retail experience.. Good luck!! I hope you get the job!

Ali - I know many girls who had abnormal cells. My co-worker had them burned off just in case. I am sure you'll be OK - good news is that they are waiting til January so they can't be that concerned. One more thing half off your plate! And no worries about the soul food! We all need it sometimes. I have totally come to accept that!!
Last night I REALLY wanted to go to the gym, but I ended up running errands...I got the pics scanned for the slide show and I dropped off my albums to my bro-in-law. So that is one more thing off the list. I also picked up a preg test for just before the wedding (so I know if I can drink or not).
Tonight I have my class so I'll walk at lunch so I at least get SOME fresh air and sunlight today...I'll get a migrane if I don't. Plus, I sit on my kiester all day! Damn these good-paying sedentary jobs Oh well, I can't complain, really. I really do love my job. I love doing communications and community relations. Even when I go on week-long trips to Buttcrack, Alberta!!
10 days to the wedding....its really creeping up!! I am still trying to re-size my pic for you guys....I'll try to post it today sometime!

last night while chopping some peppers i managed to involve my middle finger. . .so typing is alot of fun
Another screw up came from planning
we had the outlaws for dessert last night which I knew would be a calorie fest
so in order to be able to have dinner with DH and have dessert
I ate almost nothing all day
1 serving of oat meal and a yogurt while I was making dinner
I ate maybe a third of my dinner (dh did the portions always a bad idea) and then we had dessert
All was well till around midnight where I became insane
I ate a leftover LF burrito and 4 tsp of dulce de leche ice cream then ran from the kitchen before it got worse
Lesson learned I want to try to eat the bulk of my food during the day when I have time to burn it off!
and I have to convince dh that we need to go grocery shopping

It's kind of late in the day to be posting, but I thought I'd post anyway. I'm on day #3 of controlling my eating and it's going well, yay! Not much planned for tonight, besides trying to get some more unpacking done and doing a little laundry. Oh, and working on a paper for school.
I wanted to journal yesterday's eating on here again today. Here goes:
B- Yogurt 2
L- LF Chicken Salad 3
Hamburger bun 3
S- Handful of peanuts 3
1/2 c. cottage cheese 2
D- Big bowling alley hamburger and fries 200 pts, maybe? But I was planning it and it was SO good.
Activity-- Bowling in my women's league (I'm such a nerd!)
I was supposed to meet my mom at WW yesterday to WI for the first time in awhile, but I completely forgot! So, next week, we'll start watching the weight.
Ali--I'm so glad to hear that the colposcopy went well yesterday. I wish I could have seen my cervix! Actually, maybe not. I thought it was all a little bit painful, and probably would have been worse to watch them removing my flesh. I was thinking about you and hoping all went well. I had some dysplasia, as well, and had to go through cryotherapy, so hopefully yours will come back as harmless.
Aimee--There's lots of the icky going around here in Nebraska right now. It's just that time of year here. I've been lucky--I sit in a 4-pod of cubicles and everyone around me has been sick except for me (knock on fake wood). I hope you're feeling better soon. I take Sudafed and Advil along with an allergy medicine to keep myself feeling human, maybe something like that would help you?? I can't imagine doing retail, though. When I feel crappy, I come into work, hybernate in my cubicle and avoid the outside world. I don't suppose you can do that in retail, can you?
Belle--You're so gorgeous! (Of course, I remember that from when you posted on the photo thread). What a great picture of you and DF. Buttcrack, Alberta? Kier--Thanks, oh injured one, for keeping us updated on Rina. Are you normally accident prone? It seems like not that long ago, there was an incident with a curb?? (Sorry, I couldn't help it!) Chopped fingers is a major reason I don't cook unless it comes out of my freezer and goes into my microwave. My way of cooking is much safer.

Hi girls-I'm here, albiet late-DD had a bad day-fell and clunked her head twice and then burned her hand-poor thing-she looks like she's been in a fight! Eating was ok today-I had pizza for lunch but it was veggie and I stopped at one slice-no snacking at all-I'm proud of that!! No exersize either though-need to do better there this week.....hoping to hang onto my willpower for the weekend-I have a bachelorette party to go to....Malibu and Diet Coke, anyone???
Mmmm.. malibu... I haven't drank any alcohol in a while.. I'm too old I feel old anyways...
So I am feeling a bit better, I had woken up at 4:30am with a crazy fever and it continued into mid morning, I have a scratchy throat, but otherwise I feel alright. I'm going to get a lot of sleep tonight and avoid being sick! Thanks for all the well wishes
My friend from Texas sent me all the WW stuff I need, so I am back on track... I think! I am doing really good today, so if I can just keep this up for a week, then it just feels like routine. I was off WW for almost 3 weeks because I had borrowed the points book from a friend, who asked for all 3 (identical) books back.. I don't know her logic.. but I'm raring to go! The thought of modelling is lighting a fire under my butt, I know I need to lose a few pounds to be a plus size model.. so if I can do that? That'd be good. I'm going to try and put a bigger and better picture of me..
Ali - The Reitmans family is HUGE! They are taking over the plus size industry..they bought Coton Ginny's Manufacturers when they went out of business a few years ago.. it's also nice to get that 25% off at all the stores..
