the next time most of us decide to go to disney, we need to consult with one another first...i missed lynn by a few days, and viv is going to miss theresa by a couple of weeks...maybe next time we could all plan to go at the same time!!! or maybe hawaii...hmmm...charlie saw a special on volcanoes and he is ready to go!

evan has turned bad, bad, bad....he is driving me crazy, into everything..i have to lock all the upstairs doors when he is in the playroom..he just locked hisself in the study closet!! i'll be right back!
that boy.....i already have him signed up for mothers day out next year...i didn't want to lose my spot and i could sign him up to go since charlie is still there...yeah!!! they have hundreds of people on the waiting list, i would've never gotten back in...i was feeling bad about sending him so young, but now i am kinda liking the idea...

i did very good op yesterday, and i am expecting a loss by thursday! i am going to subway for lunch with dh..i really like subway and would consider doing what jared did, but i won't eat a veggie sub..oh well...

linn - a friend of mine is in jersey this week for a wedding..i would love to visit ny, if i ever get around to it, i would love to see everyone.

cindy - i thought you were sending the pics last night?

lynn - i think you should move to a warmer climate, that poor barry is always sick..let me know and i will start looking for you a house

hi viv, jill, theresa....evan is into something..again....bye robin

Hi All!

Well I got fed up with the doctors here in Frederick and Barry and I went up to the ER at Johns Hopkins last night at 4. We got there at 5 and waited to be seen until 8:30, but we got a "real" doctor. She took her time with him and x-rayed his chest. Then diagnosed him with coughing asthma. He is now on an inhaler, the proper way, that the doctor here in Frederick didn't do and steroids, plus antibiotics. But on the other hand, hopefully this will really help him and it finally tells me why he gets these horrific coughs. I'm going to call up to Johns Hopkins when I get done posting and make an appt. with a Peds Pulmonary Specialist so that we can get this kiddo back into school and enjoying his life again.

Theresa - sounds like you had one heck of a time! Glad you enjoyed. Disney will be great this time of year.

Robin - leave the house where it is, but send me away. Hawaii did you say???? LOL DH told me that's what he wants for next anniversary. Think I'll call the travel agent today and get brochures. Looking at the beach would help right now. LOL

Viv - hang in there, those men come around eventually, you know I'm right about this one LOL

Hi Linn, Cindy and everyone else. Have a great weekend. We are supposed to get snow again Sunday night. NO NO NO!!!!!

I JUST GOT MY PICTURES....THANK YOU CINDY...

You gals sure look like ya'll were having a good time....i don't think i have ever seen pictures of either one of you. Very pretty. cindy, you are so thin. i hope to be looking like that soon! theresa - me and you have the same hair! i just got mine cut off to shoulder length and layered and thinned and i love it..it used to be long like yours and i got tired of always pulling it back. now i have to fix it in the morning and it only takes 10 minutes...dh has even gotten used to it.

went looking at lights with dh, was thinking about hanging a light over the bar, but now i think it would be to much...leaning more towards recessed lights.

i have to load the dishwasher before i go get chas....have a lovely weekend...robin

Hey gals...

Theresa - I am very impressed with you. Back from one trip and now off to Disney? I just started packing TODAY and we don't leave for three weeks! I am a very compulsive packer. Now remember, I want tips tips tips!!! Glad you had fun in NO - it is a wild place, isn't it?

Cindy - I guess I'll just have to wati till Monday to see the pics - oh well, something to look forard to at work! POP servier won't let me download....

DH and I went for sushi today and I had to suffer eating sashimi. Just not the same. I have DH somewhat conviced to try SB after Disney to see if it helps with his cholesterol. that would be great...

Robin - so come to NY already! I'm waiting!!

Lynn - well, glad Barry finally got a diagnosis. Now you can at least do something about it. hawaii sounds good to me - if ya can ditch the kids!!!!

Well, off to be a good mother. Hey, do any of you have savings bonds that you've forgotten about? DH found some today and we went to www.savingsbonds.com - for a free 30 day trial you can enter all your bonds and find outthe current value - we got a nice surprise that will help us in deciding if we can add onto the house ('nother, long story).....

Bye all - talk soon. I really feel like a nap now.

Hey, everybody. It's me the weekly poster.

Ther. and Cindy--Sounds like you had a great time. What are you going to do with all those beads, Theresa?

Lynn--I'm glad you finally found a dr. who will help Barry! It's so awful all the poor kid (and you) have had to go through.

Hi, to all else. Viv and CAB--You sound like our dieters extraor. this week.

WEll, we got a puppy. A pug like our previous dog. We named him Bernie and he's a doll. DH was not thrilled at first but he's adjusting.

Didn't quite meet my monthly goal but close! 5 more next month, I hope.

Morning All!

Snowing here, finally! The blizzard did miss most of us, we are only supposed to get between 3 and 6 inches. Coming down steady for now. At least Barry finally got to go back to school! YEAH!!!!!! The poor kid was really sick again on Saturday. Called the doctor and it was the steroids this time. Got him through that and he is really back to being his old pain in the @ss self again. LOL

Well maybe if I get him underway in the right direction, then I can get myself going to. Tried to get started with Richard Simmons and am still working at it. Haven't yet instituted the full plan, but am really trying. Just need to get over a couple of small mountains. LOL

Elly - So glad to hear about your puppy! My dh was a cat person when we got married. Swore that he would never have a dog, no more three and in bed with us!!!! LOL

Viv - I take Barry to see the pulmonologist as soon as they can get him in. But until this snow stuff goes away it will be a challenge for sure. At least my hometown MD knows what's happening and can deal with him if I need him to.

Cindy - the Pics were great!!!!

Theresa - Have a great time at Disneyworld! Wish I was in your suit case right about now. Can use a vacation.

Hi to everyone else. Hope you all don't get clobbered by this snow storm heading upward.

Take care,
Lynn

Default Disney World

Hello Everyone!

I"m having toooo much fun here! (dead tired, but having fun!) LOL

Viv! where do I begin?! you're kids are older, so be sure to check out the Buzz Lightyear at MK, dh said the Alien ride was kinda gross. Lion King show very good. MGM, Doug show very good, skip Bear in Blue house---really for younger kids---plus you sit on the floor! LOL, Tower of Terror and Rock in roller coaster a must! Epcot---well it was pouring down rain so we really didn't do must---lunch at Chef de France (something like that) was very good! Dinner at Cinderella's Castle in MK was good too! I love the Wilderness Villas, worth every penny, would stay here again! especially love the Jacazzi! tee hee!

Hey Robin, send me a pic on you! I'd love to see you!

I'd better go, Theresa

ps. I had a wonderful time at Mardi Gras with Cindy, you all should seriously think about going next year! you're kids would have the time of their live and never forget the beads----that's the best part for them---sacks and sacks of beads!

how do you all like the new look of 3fc's? I think I'm liking it, but I hate change! LOL once I get home on my big computer, think it'll be easier to figure out all the new options.

Default Snow.....

Gosh I really hate those stupid titles. Despite the fact that I LOST ANOTHER POUND!!! (That's 8 lbs in 4 weeks, a miracle for moi) I am very grouchy today. Two days stuck in the house with the kids will do that, as well as with DH spending a night in a hotel....another story..........................

Anyway.....

THERESA - Thank you so much for that post!!! I relaly needed a Disney pick me up! I was definitely looking forward to Buzz - it sounds like a bunch of giggly fun - but RnR and ToT are gonna have to live without me - I'm not even sure I can let Brendan do RnR....he's never been on a real big rollercoaster beforek don't want to freak him out. He thinks he is soooo brave. Have you eaten at Whispering Canyon? I'm relaly looking forward to some of our PS meals. The kids and I were looking at pictures online - I think they are going to pass out with excitement when we go! More updates please - how are the lines? ARe you using Fastpass? Have a great time!

cindy - I emailed you, didn't you get it? I love the pics - it was so nice tosee both of you "in person" and yes, someday I will figger out how to post a picture of myself - maybe at Disney someone can actually take one of me smiling.....

Linn - let me know if you hear anything aboutthat hotel.
You and CAB are my NY connections!\

Lynn - How's Barry doing now? Do you see a light at the end of the tunnel?

Ellie - so nice to hear from you! How is your diet going? Congrats on tehe puppy.

Robin - LOL shave your legs? I don't think I even know where the razor is...shorts weather, what are you trying to do to me, girl?

CAB - Yoo hoo! ARe you still going to meetings?

OK off to be grouchy and nurture my diet some more with green tea.

Robin-aren't you in Dallas???? The weather has been up and down this week, cool in the mornings, yesterday we actually had frost, and warmer in the afternoons. I'm ready to start wearing only one set of clothes a day.

Theresa-glad you are having fun! You needed a vacation where you could rest some after mardi gras. LOL

Viv-I got an e-mail from you last week but none since then.

Morning Everyone,

It's 5:53 and I'm up. What else is new. The kids are still asleep so I figure before I start another day I wanted to talk to all my friends.

Ellie - First off, I'm sorry I didn't e-mail you, didn't have yours.

To let you know what's happening, my hubby had quadruple bypass surgery on Tuesday. He is doing great, very thankfully.

Robin - I'm 44 and hubby is 53. Wish I was still 30 right about now. LOL I think this has aged me about another 10 years for sure.

The kids got to get to the hospital last night. My mom and dad have been coming out to my house and getting them and staying with them while I was at the hospital. Barry fell apart at the hospital, but once we were in the car on the way home he was his old self again. KIDS!

I have a humongous sinus cold and have only been getting about 6 hours sleep. But they are deep sleep. I get in bed around 10 after coming home and calling the world and then I just pass out.

Hopefully hubby will be released today or tomorrow. It's amazing how fast they get you out of the hospital these days. I watched the nurse take the tubes out of his chest yesterday. She wanted to know if I was going to get sick. Les just looked at her and told her we've seen enought of Truma Life in the ER on TLC that I could handle anything. LOL The tubes were about a foot long and there were 3 of them.

His office is so fantastic! One of them called over yesterday morning and said she was going to stop by on her lunch hour. She knocked on the door and the next thing I knew there was the whole office staff in his room. All 8 of them closed the office to come over and see him. Then later they sent over this hugh fruit basket and a teddy bear. They are wonderful people, just like all of you guys.

Thanks so much for the e-mails. I'll try to keep in touch as much as I can. Can't type any more because the tears are flowing right now.

Talk to you all later.

Love to all of you,
Lynn

Default Best wishes to Lynn & family

Hi to everyone--
Lynn-- hang in there and you can always vent to us. This must be hard on Rachel & Barry too. Thank goodness you acted right away. Did Barry & Rachel get awakened to an ambulence crew in your house that night? This whole experience is overwhelming. It's really amazing what they can do, but alarming that they have to do it.
Our good thoughts are with you.
Hi to all--thank goodness I have no exciting news to report. I went to help my SIL w/ her new twins & 2 yr old yesterday. someone always needs something. They are SO CUTE. DH & I are going to be godparents to the boy. We're looking forward to it.
Kids got report cards yesterday. Lauren's average was (drum roll please) 97. Lindsay doesn't get letter or numerical grades yet (starts in 5th at this school). This is a tough school. But they make it "cool" to do well. We are OH SO PROUD.
Today's plan is to plow through Lauren's room. I shipped Alyssa off to MIL. So, I really must get to it.
Best wishes to all -- but especially Lynn in this difficult time. Please keep us posted on the progress & vent anytime !!
