It's been another crazy weekend with hockey and skiing. I would much prefer to be swimming and beachcombing in FLa, tho, My inlaws just bought a luxury spread down there....three bedrooms, wonder why? I can't believe they're going to leave Brooklyn!
My digital scale went nuts on me on Friday - it's brand new! Three different weights within 5 minutes. Went right back to Walmart and got a good quality old fashioned mechanical scale. So far it likes me!
Sb is great, altho yesterday I had a heck of a chocolate craving at nite. I had some FF plain yogurt with fruit spread and I felt better!
Jill - what' sup with these headaches> ARE they migraines? I know how painful those can be. Have you thought about cutting out aspertame to see if that helps? Let us know!
Lynn - we leave on 3-23 and I am so ready. Altho I am not really ready. Too much to do beforehand. I am slowly crossing things off the list....how's the leg doing? LOL re Hawaii, a friend of mine just went alone with her DH, farmed the kids off and went for a week. I truly hate her!

Better hurry up and make friends with them so you can have a standing invitation to hang out LOL sounds like you are doing pretty good on SB, and glad you found a scale that likes you. Oh Mardi offically started January 6th, with the Parade Balls, and the announcement of the Kings and Queens, parties, and King cakes. But the first parade didn't run until yesterday Beginning this weekend, there will be several parades nightly in New orleans, and this will go on until Mardi Gras Day, which is Feb 27th. On Mardi gras day there are 9 parades that day. Theresa gets in Next friday morning.

Had to go into Home Depot yesterday. Didn't want to, but they are the only ones that carry the darned filter for our house humidifier. Oh well, it's not the store itself that I'm mad at anyway, just HOMER!!! LOL
Leg is still attached. Although, I wanted to shoot PT for Fridays session. Hurt like *ell after he worked on me and he'll see me again tomorrow after bowling. Seems that as he works on the tendons and ligiments that are tight, to pull them out some and stretch them feels like a knife is being put through me. Not fun for sure.
Anyway, with the weather we are expecting my whole group should be sick again by the end of the week. Ice storm tonight and rain and 60's by Thursday.
Well gonna go do some things before I pick up the kids at school.

It is a new virus and many of our clients have it.
It is widespread and others of you may get it from other sources - it has a little attachment.

OMG, Viv! I tried and tried to open that e-mail this a.m. and it wouldn't do anything.(unless it has........)
Then.....I was just walking by the kitchen, looked at the paper and it's one of the headlines!(about that virus!)

I spent the day at the E.R. yesterday. Long story short, the problem is in the neck muscle (at the back) that attaches to the head. It could be from the painting that I do or even the way I hold my head at the computer.
It's called an Icepick headache and I just keep up with the Advil and it will eventually go away.
If ya even wanna lose 5 lbs. in a week, it's called the Advil and water diet. That's how much I've lost. When I do eat, it's fruit or cereal. (all op stuff)
I've taken away chocolate(for now), and I don't have much for aspertame. I DO have my coffee, though, because I'm sure I've have a super headache if I just cut that out.

Yes, Viv; whoever's address that I have for Buddy Moms, I sent the Valentine e-mail. It's cute.(reminds me of what I'd look like!!) LOL
It was sent by dh's cousin in NYC. We have never had problems from his e-mails.
So, including this weeks 5 lb. loss(which I'm sure will find it's way back! hope not), I guess for our 10 lb. challenge, I've lost about 6.5
Guess there IS something good about the icepick headaches!! LOL
If I get to WW on Thurs., I'll get and official weigh-in.

Hubby left me a pair of stuffed bears that are surrounded in a stuffed red heart and a card that plays the theme from Love Story. (sniff, sniff, tears...) He can be wonderful when he wants to.

Cindy - no news on the Homer front, did go see a dermatologist this morning though, I have this thing on my calf of the leg that's messed up and the PT thought it might have something to do with why I'm hurting so much, doctor says no way though, did say not a chance of cancer, but did say that my regular MD irritated the heck out of it by trying twice to freeze it off, so now I have to go get yet another prescription to put on this daily for the next 4 weeks and see if it goes away, if not then he will take some layers off and send them out for screening. What fun I've had this a.m.????? LOL
Barry came home with a migraine. They called me while I was in the docs office. I really think this one is weather related. Foggy as *ell here right now. Can't even see our beautiful mountains. One big blanket of white.
Well I'm going to let Mr. Barry rest for this afternoon while I go get us some seafood for dinner tonight as a treat!

I sympathize with your dear little boy with his headaches. I cannot imagine that people go through this so much.

I took the bull by the horns today and just got back into living life. I still had to take advil but I just went about my day. This isn't going to get me down!!
