Default Monday is BACK!

Yep it is here again. I am feeling good though b/c it is a new week and a new start! I will be back to post ladies.

Well, the wknd was not so good for me eating wise. Yesterday was a killer. I was asked to bring dessert so I bought Cheesecake! What was I thinking? It was delicious though. I was pretty active this wknd though b/c DH and I worked on the house and yard a LOT. Anyways back on track today. Anyone else ready for a new start??? Take that sip of morning latte and lets get our butts in gear!!

Kieri~ congrats on the same weight and the 14's! Fittings are evil I have one on Sunday for a wedding I am in and I am not looking forward to seeing what size I wear in a bridesmaid dress b/c they always run small. Oh well I will suck it up and squeeze my booty into what I can

Ali~ Sorry about the cleavage burn but the mere words "cleavage burn" make me laugh I need to get out more

BBL! I hope everyone comes out to post today!!

this monday started out nutso but its going to get better!
i forgot my cellphone when I was halfway to the trainstation and had to turn back BUT somehow I still made the train!
my weekend eating sucked

HEy girls! My weekend was certainly better for me eating wise....it was fun but DF worked. We went to a party on Sat night until 2am - so not like me. It was in support of new immagrants (DF's co-worker volunteers there) and we were the only token caucasians. It was really fun. The people danced all night and tried to get us dancing (I was sober, so not much from me,but I did do the conga line).

Other than that, I babysat, cleaned my house (big job now that we have 1800sq feet) and had father's day brunch. I made this caserole that was AMAZING. Its like ham, cheese, eggs, milk, bread and veggies casserole. I WWized it and it was still really good - there was none left. I was super proud - I used to be a menace in the kitchen!

I only had a couple of dog walks and no other formal working out. But I still feel like I had a busy weekend.

OH late sat afternoon my sister and I went to the spa for her b-day. Heavenly. It was $135 for a 30min massage (WONDERFUL) and a 30 min manicure 30 min pedicure. Plus a steamroom, cucumbers on the eyes, etc. It was SOOOO nice. My back is a bit tender from the rub, but apparantly I was pretty tight.

Becky - I stand by your side starting over!! And with the latte - hmmm I should go get one, but I am trying to not spend $$ on coffee anymore - I have my home made Tim's in the morning and work coffee (blech) the rest of the day. It's scary how it adds up and I should NOT have spent $ this weekend on myself. Anyway, that was totally off topic...

Kier - 2 weeks girlfriend!! Here comes the bride!! I want to see lots of pics within reasonable time after the wedding, so make sure you don't forget us.

This also means it's 2 weeks to our challenge end. I have done crappy, but I think I am finally in the ZONE - hey where's Tonya!? She was in the Zone too.

wow, I was soooo unproductive this weekend house wise... I'll be pulling an allnighter July 15th for sure now...

I went to Montreal on Saturday and saw the Expos beat Chicago WS in one of the most exciting games I have ever been to. The final score was 17-14. I also saw the retirement ceremony of my favorite all-time Expo Tim Raines so that was cool.

I journalled yesterday for the first time in a long time and the first time it helped me to understand a few of the problems that I do have. I still need to write out more stuff, but I wrote a considerable amount yesterday... I figured out what was stressing me out a bit though... just writing it out made me feel better though... So I'll try and make it a habit.

I also realized something... I have become a couch potato... I stopped watching TV regularly years ago, but slowly slipped back into it... I figure in the evening I'll try and be more productive with my time... I realize I use stuff like TV, eating and the internet as a distraction.... I'll try and start running regularly again, that should help me relax.

Belle: massages are nice! Can you get your covered by insurance? Even so, sometimes a treat like that is just awesome.. I should organize a spa day with my gal pals for after I move. We had one last year. My office uses Tim's coffee in the coffee maker.

Kierie: I do that, I usually don't go back unless I forget my bus pass which I kind of need

Becky: what is sad is that I barely have any cleavage to begin with, but the small part i have got bright red... oopsies!! Be careful, slap on sunscreen liberally



I know I am getting back to the zone... working on the other stuff does help though.... I figure I'll do 23 points a day with one cheat meal a week. I won't focus on being perfect nutritionally, that just doesn't work for me if I make a mistake. I am somewhere between SB and WW on my eating. I am eating lower fat than SB though, I was finding it was too much. All my carbs are good ones though I think one reason as to why me and WW worked so well is that I could let mishaps fit in...

Hello everyone!!

I'm back from holidays and I'll spend the next couple of days catching up work (and posts!) - It will be a busy week though because three of our 9 person staff are away and we're doing orientations for the next 2 weeks (I just found out this morning).

The triplets were wonderful and I had a fantastic time but I was TERRIBLE on my holidays - I started off so well!! I behaved for the trip out and my first day was almost completly OP using 10 flex points. Then the second day was my mom's first day and I stayed right on points perfectly. The third was her birthday and we celebrated a lot and then it was leftovers the next day and the days after that and some ice cream because it was hot. I did buy some skinny cow sundays. What an AMAZING treat! I wish we had them in canada. But I had lots of treats and didn't write things down like I wanted to and I know I've gained but I've been good today and my little sister and I start swimming 3x a week tonight after volleyball so hopefully by WI I will have lost some of my vacation weight and not be up too high. I'm going to catch up on what everyone is up to and I'll try to post tomorrow and actually have time for some responses.

I have actually left work b/c I'm nauseous and feverish . . .so where am I ? DF's job! lol he drove in and didn't want me to have to take the train I'm going to see if i can catch a nap bbl

Yah it's Monday. I knew today would be bad when Emma woke up with a fit of rage. Oh it was bad!! I get to work and that blew up too. I am just not liking today. And work is high on the not like list also. We have some bad staff and it is making things horrid!!!

Sooooo... I weighed this weekend and was pleasantly suprised to see a maintain. I haven't weighed in a month... and also haven't been journaling what I am eating. But to see that I am maintaining... well that just tickles me. That means I don't have any back tracking to do!!!

I am swamped, so that is all I have time for. Maybe more tomorrow. My work and personal life is so very swamped that I have absolutely no ME time. This makes me sad, so it is going to be a priority in my life now. Last night when I settled down for me time, Emma came strolling out of her room about 4 times. She now realizes she doesn't have to yell for me, she can just come out. Well she also upsets Kate at the same time, so it is a screaming mess. Oh the joys of kids!!!

Hi everyone,

Thanks Belle for asking about me. Yep, I am still in the zone, lost 3 pounds last week. And, I have been walking 4 miles a few days a week.

It sounds like everyone is trying hard to lose. Yeah, Lori for joining WW. Get that extra weight off before trying for #2!!!!

I don't have much time, need to get some work done....have a great day!
