Thumbs down

Its 1 am and I'm not Dreaming of Ben Affleck Whats wrong with this picture???
Mom made fettucine Alfredo for my Grams Bday and doesnt know he meaning of the phrase "I only want a little bit" mind you Im programmed to be a member of the clean plate club we're all sensitive to dairy so we didnt even get to her cake
Its 11 days till my date with the weightloss doc And id like to have a loss between now and then Im not sure whether to go by the 218 i saw at the health center or the 222 that was on a very bloated day at the doc all i know is i dont want to be more than that! also my goal is to get my lazy *** on the treadmill on monday and up my intake of water to 80 oz a day
and when i get to the grocery this weekend get some high fiber foods and WW dinners I know its cheating but its a pain in the *** to cook for 1
anyway bed and dreams of ben beckon so i will post more later
Have a FANTASTIC day

Hi Everyone I had a nice evening last night...went over to a friend's and had dinner with their family and then watched Chicken Run (again). I don't think going out in this nasty weather was a good idea tho...my throat is hurting more than ever and once again I'm up before 6am <<sigh>> LOL. Ugh! Anyways... I'm going to try to get back to sleep. Just wanted to drop in and say hi. Hope you all have a great Friday and if I don't get to write again enjoy the weekend!!!!

Default trapped!

hey girls,
i'm feeling a bit narked cos asked boss if i could go to gym today over lunchtime but he said there's too much work to do and it takes too long. booh. anyone else find it hard to fit it in during the day? even when the class is 45 mins, i need to walk there and back and get showered etc after so it takes twice as long. it's annoying cos i like this class on a friday, but i suppose i'm just going to have to go after work and hopefully try a new class.
ok, enough moaning from me. i reckon i'm going to have to get up early and do gym stuff in the morning cos otherwise it makes me look bad at work!
so how are you all doing? ready for the weekend?
kierie - hope things go ok at weightloss docs. shalyne - hope you get better soon too. we're all falling apart!! i've got really huge tonsils at the moment, but luckily i don't feel ill (yet!).
i've got a good recipe for 0-point veggie curry. i'll post it on a separate page. if anyone else has good recipes then do add them!
love to you all,
kirsty

Morning All!

I took a relaxing evening and it was what the doctor ordered I am sure. Ah, today I have to reimmerse myself into my school work.. fun fun fun.

Kirsty: My thighs still rub together though, but I have the body type where they always will. I think the one thing I was flabbergasted at was just how long my neck was, I always thought it was short, but nope, it was long. I also love those collar bones (I could not see them when I was at my highest weight). I also love the definition I am getting in my back.

Shalyne: My sleeping patterns have gotten really messed up over the past month. School hasn't helped, but it started to go wacky over my break. Oh well. I hope you got back to sleep.

Kierie: I live on frozen meals at times, it is by no means cheating. It has also helped me realize what a good portion size is (though I always suppliment those meals with a ton of salad).

Take Care!

By the way, all of you rock! Thank you all for your advice or offers of advice and support.

I am taking the plunge and actually going to a rez social activity tomorrow night alone, none of my friends are going and all the people who I know are casual aquaintances, but hey, I am sure I can join in and have fun (it's disco bowling). I never do stuff like this, so it's the perfect opportunity to put my face out there and have a ton of fun and great practice for moving to a new city. I love this new boost of confidence!!!

TTYL!!

Default avatar websites

if anyone wants a beanie baby avatar then check out
http://www.geocities.com/SouthBeach/...atarindex.html

just right click (or left click depending on your mouse set up) on the picture you want, choose save as and save it to your computer. then go to 3fc, click on profile, options, scroll down to avatar and upload your piccie. hope that makes sense.

there are also links from there to other avatar websites...

hmm, it isn't giving the link properly. try typing it in as
after the www.geocities.com bit it should say SouthBeach/Lagoon/2147/avatarindex.html

Kirsty: Disco bowling is bowling in a dark bowling alley with mirror balls, black lights, glow-in-the-dark balls and loud dance music. It's becoming a big deal here in Quebec (then again so is mini-putt (miniature golf) in the summer).

Take Care!

Good morning everyone....

I am so glad it is Friday!

I agree with Kirsty, besides my face, the legs not rubbing together anymore was a huge plus!!!

I am sorry to hear of all the sickness going thru our group!! I am sending healthy vibes to all of you!!

I get migraine headaches once every couple months, and last night I got one, I went to bed at 8 p.m., DH took care of the house and children (thank goodness!), and I feel better today, but always have a residual (hangover-like) headache for the next couple days. It sucks!! Oh well, I can thank my mom for them, my doc says they tend to be hereditary!

Good news....I have been OP all week, and walking every day. My WI is tomorrow, I hope it is a loss, we will see.

Ali ~ Have fun disco bowling, it is fun, and I am sure you will meet tons of fun people.

KO ~ I also think Ben Affleck is hot, I wish I could have a good (sexy) dream about him....

Well, better get back to work, a big "HELLO!!" to everyone else!

Hope to stop back a little later!....

Default good morning all

I didn't expect so many posts already this morning. I am not super excited to be at work today but I only have to come back to this particular client 2 more times. I really like the people but there isn't a lot of wpork to do. Plus they are moving the HR job out to OK and I am just a consultant anyway.

Well, I was doing so well this week until I went overboard last night. I ate 1 point at home before my meeting and then ate a few cheese and crackers, 2 brushetta and a few very small wafer cookies. I was annoyed at myself but came home and ate 3 more points. I was over by 7 yesterday but at least I earned 3 points in exercise. I calculated my points for the week starting with Sunday (I didn't write down on Saturday - bad points, bad me). Anyway, I am hoping that throughout the week I saved up enough points to compensate for the 2 days that I was over. I will find out tonight at WI. I am nervous though since I had a big gain last week. I don't think I can handle another gain. I was so close to gaol before and now I feel so far away.

So what has everyone planned for the weekend? I think we are going to rent a movie tonight since DH has been sick this week. Tomorrow I am volunteering in the morning and then tomorrow night is a housewarming party. that should be a lot of fun and hopefully it will be my only major food challenge during the weekend.

I hope all of the sickies are feeling better today. Take care all.

Hey girls...well, I am not doing so well today, bear with me and I will share.

Now keep in mind, I am PMSING, TOM this week, so I don't know if I am overreacting or not......

Last night we went to this pub with his co-workers (my ex co-workers)for this
maritimer
band. Well, we got there at 7 to hold the table, and I didn't
really want to
go, but b/f didn't want to wait alone. Anyway, he wanted to
drink so I had
to drive. And so the band was good, the people were take em or
leave em, I had
an okay time except for this:

B/f didn't seem to want to show that we were dating. I leaned
my head on his
shoulder at one point and he shrugged it off. Then we were
danceingand when we
left the dance floor I went to take his hand and it was limp. at
the table I
tried to hold it under the table, same thing.

I also noticed he was checking out this girl who looked like his
ex alot. I was
choked. And then I went to the bathroom and saw myself and I
felt so fat and
ugly. It was unreal. Now, I know you are going to say that is
"superificial"
of me, but I am not trying to express that I put emphasis on
looks, I am trying
to express that I felt so unattractive and insignificant. Now, I
am hoping its
just that I am PMSing and I am a bit emotional, but really, I
feel horrible
today. I didn't even want to cuddle him last night, I just
wanted to go home
and sleep in my own bed - but it was 12:30....too late. My self
esteem
plummetted. I was looking around at the other people, little
signs of affection
from sig others, but I could have been there with any other guy
in the room for
whatb/f displayed.

Bottom Line: I think he is ashamed to be with me in public. Like, his
co-workers totally
know me and know we are dating, but I mean the other people.

I don't know, maybe there are just too many red flags. Maybe no matter what, this guy just aint for me, since I can't seem to hold his interest and I don't feel good about myself, I am constantly insecure and doubtful.

I think I might have to denounce men altogether and get over it.

Anyway, lots to do, need coffee.

Have a good day and weekend

B

Belle that is not superficial he did things that made you feel bad and did not hold up his end of the relationship and i bet his ex was a Bowser Dont be too available to him for the few days and do what you want to do if he wants to be an IGNORANT FOOOOL fine but you are too good for him if he cant even muster the energy to hold your hand
anyway i have to run and take care of some EDU stuff
but! I WILL BE BACK!
IM starved BRING ON THE KASHI!
Kiers
PS I first notice in my wrists then my face/neck and when my collarbones come out i know im making progress!
