Hi kids. I'm off to an early start today. I got up early to straighten up for the cleaning lady, then I'm off to an OB appointment (wouldn't it be great if I found out if I've got a boy baby or a girl baby today??? I'm not sure...I've had an ultrasound every visit up to now, given my history, but am not sure if they will do one today or not). After that I've got Physical Therapy (for pregnancy-induced sciatica... a fun experience for all!) and thena Dentist Appointment. We'll top it all off with a night class with the World's Most Airheaded Professor. Sound like fun to you, too?

Question of the day: If you could have any one material item that would change your life, what would it be? Mine would be a Nu-Nu, like on the Teletubbies. For those of you who don't have toddlers Nu-Nu is this vacuum-suction-type appliance. Any time the Teletubbies make a mess, the Nu-Nu just comes, without being asked, and sucks the whole mess up. How great would that be? Of course, Maggie, my dog, is kind of a little Nu-Nu herself, but she wouldn't touch the laundry detergent I spilled yesterday.

Jayne - I love the concept of a Nu-nu! How is your cousin doing? Are you really going to find out if you'll be having a son or a daughter? Will you tell us? I'm nosey!

Belle - If you want videos by The Firm I would suggest going with the newer stuff (2000 and later). I would rec. BSS1 which includes Ab Sculpt, Body Sculpt and Cardio Sculpt. I would also suggest the "shorts" (videos that are 40 minutes or less) - that inlcudes Lower Body Sculpt I, Lower Body Sculpt II, Super Cardio Sculpt, Super Body Sculpt, Body Sculpt Blaster and Cardio Sculpt Blaster.

Ali - yeah on the vacation days.

I won't be around too much today. I'm only working a 1/2 day as my grandparents are visiting.

I do need a favor from all of you though. I issued an invitation to some friends of ours to provide desert after their dinner date. The response I got back indicated that they would love to come for dinner. How do I handle this politely? Help!

Morning Ladies! I am a little sleepy. It is a rainy gray day in Michigan and I had to get up at 6 in order to get to school and work on notes. Dh said our laptop should be in this week so I am hoping there won't be many more 6am wake up times. I usually get up at 6:30 seems to make a huge difference. DH laughs at me b/c I HATE setting the alarm for 5:50am b/c it is too early but I have no problem setting it for 6am. I am such a quirky girl.

I have not been keeping points ladies. THere is absolutely NO excuse for that so I am starting again today. I am still playing around t he 9pounds down mark b/c I keep gaining and losing 2-3 lbs duet to my lack of devotion. I am going to commit to a short term goal of being op until Thanksgiving. Which is appx 3 1/2 wks. I am not going to set a pound goal b/c I figure if I stay op the pounds will come off.

Jayne~ Let us know how everything goes. You have such a fun filled day. The ob and the dentist! Torture!!!!

Laura~ I am not exactly sure I understand the question but assuming I do, I would contact them by phone a few days prior to the date and tell them you were just calling to confirm.

As far as the question of the day. I think that I would love a computer that had a version of me that I could try different clothes onto and then when I found an outfit I liked I would just hit print or something and POOF theres the outfit. Ooh and I could have different discs depending on my mood for instance a J. Crew disc, Ann Taylor, Victoria Secret Etc. THis would all be a free service of course. Am I dreaming or what ???????

Hi girls!

I just needed to pop in and say hi. I know I've been MIA but I've had good reason ... I'm covering the sniper trial in Virginia Beach for my paper. This starts the fourth week, and the prosecution isn't even done yet. It's been something else being here ... most days I sit in the courtroom for at least a few hours. My paper, even though we're an hour away, doesn't want day-to-day court coverage from me, so most of the time I'm looking for sidebars. It still means being here every day and keeping up with what's going on. Last week, I was so exhausted. I get up at 6:30 every morning to drive an hour and a half here. Last week was pretty emotional in court, too, and when the week was over, I crashed hard. I slept for 12 hours Friday night ... got up about noon on Saturday.

I haven't been doing anything BUT working, it seems, and it bothers me, esp. since Aunt Flow paid me a visit Thursday. Work is interferring with baby-making activities! I don't like it at all, but what can I do? This is my job. I just want this year to be over so I can rest.

Sunday is my and DH's first anniversary, though, and we're going to spend the day in Washington, D.C., and then go to a Redskins game on Sunday (the tickets are my gift to him.) I can't wait to get out of town!

Well, I need to get back to writing my story, but I wanted to say hi. I miss coming here every day!
