Let's try a thread again...hopefully there will be more people posting not just lurking (yes, we can see how many views there are you know, ladies!).

I thought I'd post a question of the day...weight related. I think, in fact I know we have had this one a while back, but it's a fun one so here it goes:

What is the one thing you would do differently or that would be different about your life if you were at goal right now?

Mine would be....this is lame....I would buy more funky clothes. I am pretty much a clothes horse right now, but I would buy riskier styles, prints, etc. Right now, I am quite basic.

I really dont' think much in my life would change besides my confidence level and health. But I don't think I'd be treated differently, etc. I used to think that though, when I was in my early 20's.

How about you guys?? Tell me what you think....

Well, off to do some work. Come out and play!!

I'm baaaccckkkk........

I'm officially living in sin - Yippee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, my house is mostly in order. We still have about 5 boxes to unpack but I'm fairly sure that it won't be difficult as at least 2 of them are stereo components. I don't think my house has ever been this organized. Making room for his stuff has really forced me to go through every single drawer, cupboard and closet and determine if I need something or not and if I do need/want it, what is the most logical way to store it.

We will spend this weekend finishing the unpacking and organizing (we've spent a buttload on things like hangers, under the bed storage, etc.) then I'm going to get busy decorating. We agreed on some funds that I can use for things like curtains, throw pillows maybe some cheapish wall hangings.

I've missed you girls. Busy catching up at work yesterday after 2 days out of the office and then today I couldn't remember my password in forever!

Was down a pound at WI but fully expect a gain or maitain next week as was sinfully bad over the move weekend. Last night I did 3.5 miles in 49 minutes - I need to maintain paces like that to finish the 1/2 marathon in the time deadlines. This morning I did Firm Cardio Sculpt - I hardly ever do that work-out. I had it in my head that it was incredibly difficult. Turns out that it was a lot of fun and not that hard.

Belle - I'm so close to goal that I'm not sure what would change in my life just by hitting it except that I could quit paying WW! I will say though that when I intially lost most of my weight, that my confidence and attitude improved dramatically.

Kim - I'm so sorry that I missed your birthday. I hope that you had some fun even if DH wasn't able to be with you.

Becky - Congrats on the 2lbs. Please don't beat yourself up about how fast you "ought" to be losing. Who cares if you are a turtle? You are making improvements to your health nonetheless.

Hello Ali, Kierie, Jayne, Lynnie, KT and everyone else!

Come post - I need to catch-up on your lives!

Morning girls (just barely morning still here)

I overslept this morning. Really badly - I start work at 9:45 and woke up at 10:00. This kind of thing drives me up a wall - especially since I haven't done it in over a year and a half (since college basically). So now this will look really good on my performance reviews and all that (a big TARDY on it...) Okay I'm trying to get over it. I have Thursday and Friday off, and I'm thinking that if I'm oversleeping, I really need those days off to get away from work...

Belle - All of my clothes are so ... safe ... too! I'm trying to branch out now though, since I'm getting so close to goal I like the attention! When I was heavier I avoided anything that would bring attention to me...

AS for your questions - I'm fairly close to where I'd like to be, I'm looking for about a size 8 and am about one size off of that. When I hit goal though, I'm thinking about getting my bellybutton pierced - just for the heck of it!

Laura - woo hoo on the move!

Need to get back to work...

Default HI!

Belle-I am one of those lurkers-I have been back at WW now for a few weeks and haven't lost that much-it is hard to get back into the groove. But I started today on a good note, so hopefully it will continue. What will I change? I will go on a shopping spree for sure! I will also be happy to not have to pay for WW. I am determined to hit goal this time before TTC child #2!!!!
I'm thinking I will also reward my self with something special-maybe a spa weekend or a piece of jewelry. We'll see.
I go back to work in two weeks and only have a few things that fit. I need to buckle down-my short term goal is a 4 pound loss before I go back to work. I'm going to post here to be accountable!!!
DH and the baby and I are going to DC for the weekend, leaving tomorrow. It should be fun. Gotta run!

Default Good afternoon ladies

I am a lurker here and haven't been to this site in a long time. I figured I would come out and see what was happening.

Belle- what I would change when I hit my final goal is my attitude. I think my self esteem would be so much higher and I would be on top of the world. A new wardrobe would go right along with that.

Hope to chat with you ladies again and meet some nice people.

Looks like we are going down a rewards path!! I will do a half day at a spa....I am hoping for about 24 more weeks OP til my goal, but that might be wishful thinking.

Hi to Karla and fidj (for short). Nice to meet you both - also hello to Sallie!! funny how sometimes new people come in little spurts. Try not to be just lurkers! It's really fun and supportive to post. I find I do better when I post regularly...not just lurk.

Laura - congrats on shacking up!! Welcome to the living in sin club!

Angie - oops! Oh well, at least you came into the office - good for you. I might have just called in sick for the morning...

Lori - I think 4# is attainable. Have fun this weekend!

Well, off I go to get some work done. I am still not motivated from holidays. That sucks!! And still being tempted with United Way crap food - candy sale, bake sale and now Ice cream....

not only do I Have to say no, people think I am being cheap by not buying...oh dear!!

Hey all,

sorry I can't post properly... I am changes jobs next week so I have to train the new person... my new position lacks internet (same agency, but different sections have different internet policies... all I'll have is my email and intranet) so I'll try to post before/after work!

Anyway... My BF gave me a day at the spa certificate and I can't wait... but maybe when I reach my perfect six goal I'll get a massage and use the certifcate (the certficate comes with a facial, mud bath, hair style, make-up, pedicure and body scrub).

Laura: I am so jealous... it's like another 7-8 weeks before I start living in sin!!

Hi to all the newbies!!!

Take care!!

Ali!

Hey Karla & fidg! Nice to meet you

Belle - I'm thinking I should've just called in sick, it would have looked better than letting them know I was just running late. stupid!

Anyway - am feeling so guilty about being late and we are so busy around here that I volunteered for overtime tomorrow morning. So I'll be in (assuming I can get my butt out of bed tomorrow morning!) for half a day. It'll look good on the paycheck!

Hi Ali! Don't completely disappear on us when you change positions!

I've never actually had a spa day... sounds like fun. Maybe I should put that in on my rewards list too!
