Can't believe it is only Tuesday. For some reason I feel as though it is Thursday. That's going to screw me up all day!

WI last night. Down .2lbs. I know I should be proud of any loss as it is a step in the right direction but I'm frustrated. According to WW, I weigh more now than on 9/15. My home scale and pants say otherwise. I'm beginning to think it is all rigged!

My work-out this morning felt great (only 3 miles). I really wanted to keep going (love that "zone" feeling) and was disappointed that I had to stop to get ready for work.

Not much going on here. I'm working tonight and if I have the energy will grocery shop. Blah, blah, blah......

Hey all,

I did a charity run at work during lunch yesterday and won a tshirt, yah (okay that was through a draw, but who cares)

I actually came under my target yesterday eating on 21 points!! I guess exercise really does reduce one's hunger.

Laura: I think the main conflict about me moving in is the kitchen stuff... I have a ton of small appliances, dishes, pans, cutlery etc and well so does he.. I'll keep my dishes and what not packed and give them away if one of my brothers needs them at some point.. I refuse to give up my George Foreman though. I made a joke to him that with my slow cooker I'll keep him well fed and then he says "yeah, but it has to be nutritious' wow my perfect kind of guy. as KT says, throws are great and what not to make ugly furniture look nicer. Eventually you can start shopping too!

Lynnie: I like your new pic!

Take care!

Ali - Great idea - a charity race at lunch! My vote would be to keep the dishes, pans, appliances of whoever will be doing the majority of cooking. I already told CB that I was buying some new throw pillows because I don't think I can slipcover his sectional for cheap.

I apologize if my running dialog with Ali about setting up households is offending anyone. I'm not trying to be exclusive at all. It is just that this combining households bit is constantly on my mind right now.

No offense here, Laura. I do good to even post, let alone reply to everyone. I am working on my guilt about this

Doing okay here, i am still battling with getting on the scale everyday. I have been a bit off track, but am back on.

I'm proud of you all exercising!! YOu go girls!! I walked 2 miles yesterday and need to keep it up. I have been averaging once a week, so I need to step it up a bit.
well, gotta go!

Good Morning Ladies

No need to apologize I like the posts and enjoying reading even if I don't have much to say.

Ali,thanks for the comment; I thought a smile was in order here.

Not much going on except last night I got a major sweet tooth and ate a great big bowl of cereal.OY!!!Which like used 14 of my flexpoints.Oh well.It was great while it was going down.
Yesterday seemed to full of badluck. We went to the grocery store yesterday and had to leave the groceries there because there system for using a credit card wasn't working. We didn't have any cash in the bank; so to say the least it was EMBARRASSING.
Oh well live and learn and move on!!

Well I hope everyone has a great day and I hope today is a better for myself.

*hugs*

Hey all, I have been very busy lately. We are hosting a conference Wed., Thurs., and Friday. I end up doing most of the planning. But now I am trying to get all the info from people so I can get the documentation all set. It gets frustrating. I don't have to do much tomorrow, but I will be there all day Thurs and Friday.

I also picked up another cold. So did Kate! Ughhh... so I feel like a zombie!

Oh and the wedding wasn't very good. It was a strange ceremony and there weren't very many people there. Then the dinner was horrid and there weren't very many people there either. Of the people there, most sat outside and smoked, including the bride. The groom sat in the bar. It was just plain weird. We left early. Then I had to get the kids to bed. Kate wouldn't sleep in her Pack 'n Play, so I had 2 kids in bed with me. Emma kept rolling on top of Kate and I slept very little.

This weekend we are getting our family pic done and I don't know what to wear. I wanted to go casual, but my khakis still don't fit me. I really need to get the PG weight off. So now I am stumped at what to dress us all in.

Guess I better get back to work.

Laura: I think it's a topic on both of our minds... We've moved up the move-in date by about 3 weeks too which means we have less time to sort everything out and such. What kind of workout did you do this morning?

So like Laura, I am apologizing for being so focused on that right now.

BTW, my roomate and I are doing better; we hung out and chatted all weekend and stuff.

Take care!

Morning to all! My bad week last week unfortunately ran into my wknd and the new week THe stress factor is extremely high at work. Dh and I had a crappy start to our wknd and finally started enjoying it by Saturday evening. He took me shoe shopping Works every time. He definitely knows how to cheer a girls up! Which btw I got a cool pair of pointy, grown up heels! I love them! Anyways so it ended up being busy, busy, busy. I don't know about everyone else but our entire month of October is becoming crazy busy and then of course the holidays start rolling in. I think we need to get away. I am just struggling to find a CHEAP get away b/c we are still putting money away for the house. Wow can I ramble or what. Eating wise is pretty crappy. I plan to grocery shop as soon as I have time, which means Friday or Saturday. That should hellp the eating situation. I just find when I am busy I grab the easiest thing. Ok enough about me.

Jen~ Weird Wedding?!? Well at least you survived it. Good luck on the outfits for the pics. I always like casual pics. I hope work settles down for you ASAP.

Ali~ Congrats on all the plans. My biggest warning is that it is SO hard to leave DH all warm in bed to get up and work out. Other than that you will love it. Good luck with all of the moving.

Laura~ Only 3 miles??? What do you usually walk? 3 miles sound like a good amount to me. Have fun with the furniture. Dh's is pretty scary too. I cannot wait to get some new stuff.

Lynnie~ Try not to be embarrassed by the grocery thing it happens to the best of us. DH and I had a LOT of money in the bank after our wedding and our debit card would not work at the store. It ended up being their machine and we used a different one but it happens!

Crystal~ Good job on the walking. keep it up.

BTW Ali and Laura don't worry about the posts that is what the board is here for. We all post what is on our minds. That is why it is so therapeutic

Lynnie: That must have been annoying, but I know I have been in the situation with frozen funds. I've also bought my purse in and have forgotten my wallet.

Jen: I am sorry the wedding wasn't an enjoyable experience. Hmmm, well maybe a nice sweater and a skirt... What are Kate and Emma going to wear? I can't wait until my family portraits are done. I'll probably go to Sears for that.. I want three photos... one of me and my bros, one of the whole family and one of my parents. We have never had a professional sitting as a family. My problem is, is that one of my bros lives in Colorado... hopefully he'll get down for xmas. I may even drag the bf along and get photos taken of just us... not sure yet.. We have to figure out when we're spending time with what families over the holidays.

Take care!

Ali, the problem is that I don't know what any of us should wear. We were going to do the casual thing with khaki's, but mine are too tight yet. So now I am stumped. I guess I would wear something different. I don't want to buy new khakis because these are so close to fitting and I KNOW I am going to lose the weight. I just refuse to stay this high forever. And since it is PG weight, it better come off. I would say they would fit with another 10 pounds, but that won't happen by saturday.

Booooo Hooooo

Jen: Sounds like you get to go shopping!

So last night I had to go to Davids Bridal and get my bridesmaid dress altered. Nothing like staring at your flabby arms for a half-hour. And my feet (in my new shoes) started killing me. So when I got done, I looked at them, and although I had asked for and I though tried on a 7, somehow the shoes I bought are a 6 1/2. So I guess I need to take them back because I CANNOT stand through an hour-long Catholic wedding with shoes that pinch my toes.

Anyway ... here's the latest thing on my mind. I've been freaking out about turning 31 in a few weeks. Isn't that strange? I didn't mind 30 at all, probably because I was getting married three weeks later. Here's why ... I always thought I'd have a couple of kids by this age and just feel a little more settled in my life. Well, I don't feel at all settled. I want nothing more to have children and be a stay-at-home mom (that's when I'm going to start my novel), and I'm frustrated that it hasn't happened yet. Granted, DH and I have been trying for a baby for only two months, but I'm still feeling out of sorts.

Tell me just to relax, girls!

OK, new topic.

Lynne: Don't feel embarrassed about the grocery store. It was THEIR FAULT. I think when you go back you should demand a refund because they inconvenienced you by their machines not working.

Ali: That is awesome on the lunch run! Jeez, I wish I were in shape!

My recent claim to fame: I actually donated to the United Way this year. I usually don't, and donate to other charities on my own(usually animal-related ones, like the SPCA), but after the hurricane, and seeing how hard it hit some people, I felt like I needed to help. I designated money for the main fund as well as to the local battered women's shelter and the American Cancer Society.

I guess I better get back to work. Hi to everyone ... have a great rest of the day!

Crystal - great job on the 2 mile walk! I know you can do it again!

Lynnie - don't be embarrassed. Stuff like that happens. 2 weeks ago I didn't realize I'd left my wallet in the car until after the cashier had started checking out my groceries.

JenL - What about black bottoms for you and hubby with nice tops and dresses for the girls?

Ali - I'm loving having someone to chat with about all this stuff - I just feel bad for leaving others out of a conversation. Are your brothers married? Will their wives/children expect to be part of some photos?

Becky - hope the rest of this week gets better. What about pricelining a hotel room in a town/city you can drive to? I once got us a room at a Hyatt for $50 (inc taxes) via priceline.

Well, ladies, I've given up on the idea of a hutch for my kitchen. They are either out of my price range, too big for the space, or just plain ugly. My latest thought is to try and find a bookcase or dresser or something at Goodwill or a yard sale and dress it up. Anyone got any ideas for a funky yet functional way to store dinnerware? In the meantime, I'm going to keep the dishes and plates on the floor of the spare bedroom. They look good there. Ha-ha!

Morning everyone. My sis and I started BOOTCAMP last night. It was great! One hour workout combining balance and agility and cardio. We had a good time and we sweat a lot. It's just for one month and then we will find something else to do. So I figure I'll use my scale at home every Monday when I get home from Bootcamp and see how that is helping. If I find a meeting that fits into my schedule it will make it that much better. Found a place I really liked last night in the househunt. Of course the condo fees are 350 a month and they are currently undergoing an assessment so it's a no go but at least I'm still looking.
Laura - a bookshelf might work very well. Too bad you can have Ty from trading spaces around to build you one. If you use 1/4 round or half round and either glue or nail them on the edge of the shelves it would prevent stand up plates from slipping. You'd just need to find one wide enough.
Ali - glad you and your roomie are doing better.
And it's already time for me to get going to more training. Hopefully I can finish my post later. Hi to everyone I'm missing.

KT - I'm so confused. I thought your sister lived in VA and was pregnant with triplets? Aren't triplets considered a higher risk pg? Are massive work-outs allowed? BOOTCAMP sounds like fun to me - glad you are enjoying it. What are 1/4 rounds or 1/2 rounds?
