Kim-I'm with you...in a year I hope to be prego too. We planned to start this fall and I want to lose a bit more before trying. i don't want to wear plus size maternity clothes...lol.

well i had a great loss friday night and was BAD all weekend. then today my "virus" from last week is back...nauseous/light headed/dizzy so i haven't eaten much. i went to the docs and i am not pregnant, thankfully not yet, and she said it is just viral. grrr... i hate when younever really know whats wrong. but at least i haven't eaten too much, maybe it'll make up for all the junk i shoved down my throat this weekend. good news of the weekend we got a new dog! we put our rotti to sleep ealrier this year and that was VERY HARD so we didn't plan on getting another dog. but we were at petsmart and the groomer was telling us how this lady left her 5 mo old black lab there full of fleas and said she wouldn't be back to pick her up! poor thing! i had to rescue her. the groomer was nice enough to give us a free leash and collar and we took "Sadie" home. we're working on the whole housebreaking but so far she has been such a doll. she is so loving. we took her to my moms house, which is on the water, and she jumped right in. she swam and chased ducks and had a blast. hubby didn't think he wanted another dog as our rotti was his first pet ever but he is in heaven! his whole attitude has changed. she cheered him rightup. my 2 kitties aren't too happy but they'll get used to it. ok i am done rambling, i need ot get some rest. send some healthy vibes my way...

OMG Amber,

My dog is named Sadie (little while Bijan), but she is named after a black lab that my uncle had when we were little kids. She was THE BEST dog I have ever seen in my life, so well behaved. You could tell her it was time for bed and she would go upstairs and lie down - and this was not at her own house. I think this is very good karma gor your new dog!

Kim, I'm sorry to hear work is so bad. Is there any possibility of taking on another journalism job with another paper?

I know nobody's here but I just had to share b/c I'm not sure when I'll have time to pop in tomorrow (MIL is coming for a visit) Anyway I went to WI tonight & I was down 6.4lbs!!!!! Yippee!!!! I've been really working hard at it these past two weeks & voila! Woohoo!!!!!

Rina on losing that much! Was that in a week or 2 weeks? What are your plans for the MIL? How long will she be with you?
Lexy I want to have a dog like your Sadie. I have a cat that wants to sleep all day and cuddle me at night! She is also fat :lol we call her fatcat.
Amber I am glad that you got another dog right away. It sounds like you also have a winner with your Sadie. I love playing with dogs in the water. They are so fun to watch.
Kim I am sorry about the job and it's issues. I do not see why employeers do not take better care of the great employess and treat the bad ones as if they were that great ones!
Wow I am not the shortest one here! I am 5'3" and usually the short one.
I hope to adress each of you more s I get to know more about all of you. Is there a page where I can find out about all of you or do I just ask?
I have my weigh-in Thursday and had to over come a few problems to get to go. If my plan falls through I wil go weigh-in and bring my 2 kids and have them wait outside and then I will go to the meeting later that day. I am bound and determined to do it this time.
