  • Hi everyone!! Hope everyone is having a good day. Mine is ok, just ready to go home. I work late on Tuesdays till 7:00. Is anyone a Big Brother freak like me? Oh I love that show!! Can't wait to see it tonight.

    I have a question for all of you experienced WWers. I joined in January for the 1st time. I've done great staying op, but this past week or so has been terrible. All last week I just don't care. I want to eat anything & everything!!! I was craving pizza from this awesome place called Imos & I finally got it after my wi on Thursday night. I think that helped a lot, but I'm still not 100% back on track. For the most part I am, but I've done so well & I just don't care right now. Right now I'm sitting in my chair at work & I want McDonalds. I haven't had that since January. What's my problem? TOM isn't till next week. It (cravings & bloating) shouldn't hit me till later this week. At my wi this past Thursday I was down 1/4. I was very surprised. Anyway, does this ever happen to any of you?

    For those of you that go to the meetings - Did you hear that this is the last week to buy a pass? They will honor your pass till it expires & then you have to pay $9.95 a week. Does that suck or what? NO more specials!

    The Domincan Republic was a wonderful vacation. I was able to catch up on sleep and reading, and simply "lamped out" at the pool or on the ocean.

    We visited "Puerta Plata" which is slightly less expensive than "Punta Cana" (which is the most popular vacation site for the Domincan Republic). We had hoped that the resort would be more romantic but it was really more for "families". All the kids had such a great time and there was so much for them to do.

    It was an all inclusive resort. The weather was 90+ degrees and humid. That didn't bother us too much, but I hear it is more pleasant in the cooler months (no humidity). Now, the reason why I put on 2.6 lbs ...wasn't because the food was so good. It was because the food was so blah. Therefore I was stuck eating anything without sause: Potatoes, Breads, Fries, etc.... A total carb nightmare

    I would definelty recommend the Domincan Republic for family vacations, but try to go to Punta Cana instead. Everyone I know that has been there didn't have a single complaint and keep going back for more. As for me and the hubby...until we have ninos, we will be attending 'adult only' resorts.

    Next trip (hopefully end of September) is going to be Spain with another couple. If anyone wants some good info on the DR...here is a great site: http://www.debbiesdominicantravel.com/travel2.html

  • ugh! i was BAD! i was good all weekend which is when i am usually bad then today we went to a training that was loaded with cookies and brownies and i was still not feeling good and there was all that "comfort" food. and i caved! i ate a brownie and 3 cookies!!! bad bad bad! ok back on track now. i've vented, it's over, i am moving on. that's all i can do right? my tummy feels even worse now though, was so not worth it!
  • hey ladies. well, i'm back from my weekend vacation. i felt like i ate a lot but i did weigh myself this morning and i didn't gain so i'm pretty happy. i'm going back to visit my BF for several days next week but i have a better eating plan this time and i'm going to bring some exercise videos so i can work out while he's at work!

    anyway i just had a minute to post so i figured i'd say hi. hope you're all doing well!

  • Wowee busy in here today. Once again I'm here at the end of the day when in soem time zones its already tomorrow for you gals! The weather has been so wonderful that we've really been taking advantage & doing lots of exercise outside in the mornings before work. unfortunately this usually is my time to check 3fc so now here I am way late. I don't really have time to reply to you all. I just wanted to let you know about my WI last night. I was a pretty good girl all last week but I knew it was PMS time so I thought it would be iffy. Anyway I usually weigh myself at home before I go to the meeting just so I can know how accurate my scale is but yesterday I thought I should see how much of a difference it makes if you have an empty stomach or not. Anyway I weighed myself at home & it said I was down 3 -bonus! Then I made supper & weighed myself after & I was back to what I was last week. I thought it was crappy but oh well. Then two seconds later I discovered TOM had started (two days early-argh!). At my meeting it said I stayed the same. But I got to thinking that its all b/c mt TOM came & there was some major fluid happening Anyway I wieghed myself again before bed b/c I felt way less bloated etc & it said I was down 4lbs. So we'll wait til next week to see what the heck it really is. It seems like such a rip off when I worked hard at it last week but I know next week will show an awesome loss Today was another good day. We started out with some b-ball & we ate super healthy. I can't believe how much easier it is to stay OP when Dh is particip[ating & excited about it! Anyway I'm off to bed. Tomorrow I prob won't be here til late b/c we're walking in the morning, then I have to do the books for my business, then go to work & then watch Big Brother & Paradise Hotel! You all know I'm a reality tv junkie!! Have a great day tomorrow everyone!
