Hi Turtles,
Snowtopper-----thanks for the great dessert tip. Sounds delish. When VitaTops went from 1 point to 3 points plus I gave up eating them. Duh.
So now I am glad to be reminded that they have a place in my eating plan.
Thanks!
Life4evr, holy moly----how fast your life has turned around. Weigh to go!
From student to worker to weight loss. Fantastic! and :
I can't tell you how thrilled I was to read your post. Keep on chiming in when you can.
Bandit, yep---I drive out of my way to get my hair done too. Not only does she do a great job, but she also is a great therapist! Lol. Here's to getting and keeping on track.
Princess, oh--you're not tired of the snow yet? Lol. We are expecting some here tomorrow again. Not as bad as you guys, so I won't complain. I do remember at least two Easters here on Long Island where we had lots of snow. Good luck on the weight loss journey!
Everybody, Terri and Cherry and all the gals, chime in when you can.
I keep fighting it every day. Can't wait to get back to walking on the boardwalk. Right now my dh isn't feeling well and I'm running up and down stairs to check on him. Does that count as exercise? Lol.
Okay, here's to a good day for everyone. I'm trying to remember baby steps. I used to drink plenty of water and I've even given that up. Not smart. so I'll work on that today.

Happy Sunday to all! I went to a party last night. I had a good late breakfast and had 21 point left. I'm not sure of the points I had at the party but I think it was over that with the cake and ice cream.
I woke up with a good attitude this morning so I should be ok today. We may go to Subway today for lunch but I'll get something in my point range. I'm determined not to blow it this week. I want to see a good loss this Saturday.
Hope everyone has a nice day. And back to work tomorrow for some of us. Which for me is easier to stay on program.
Hi everyone and happy Sunday evening to you all! Super snowy here but overall it has been a very nice weekend. I went to dinner last night with my girl friends and made the best choice I could and had a good time. Went and met the kids for lunch today and again made the best choice I could. I was down 1.4 at weigh in yesterday bug it does not make up got the gain last week so need to make sure I have a solid week this week and get my exercise in!
Hi Turtles,
Snowtopper, love your attitude! Having 21 points plus available going to a party is really smart. Here's good luck for an OP week and a :
Princess, it's nice to eat well and still have a good time. Glad the scale went down and this week you can do it again. :
Well, we're still expecting snow. Now that dh is feeling better, my food has been better. Emotional eating is still my biggest problem, but I'm working on it.
: to everyone..
Judy
Oh, at least the scale stopped moving up. That's my first baby step.
Princess - great being down at the scale, keep it going!
Judy - glad your dh is feeling better, I am like you when tense about things I seem to snack continuously. My dd just got back yesterday from Florida and since they drove, I was nervous seeing the storms on TV. But she
is home safely and I feel so much better. As a mother, we all worry about our children no matter their age.
Snowtopper - great job on planning ahead!
All - hope you are doing great.
Myself - feeling better and have all my food/snacks with me.
But had a challenge at work - there was a plate of goodies on my desk
when I arrived today, so I picked out 2 small pieces and put the rest
in lunchrrom. If I kept it on my desk, my end of day I know I would have eaten all of it.
Hey Gals!
Hope you are all well, no time to read through posts!
Super busy since getting back from vacation! Still having computer problems the men folk are working on it!!!
So trying to get back on track, the weather is getting nicer so it is motivating,
So still here and not giving up!! Keepin at it!
Hello all and happy Wednesday to you all! Still pretty cold here but they are calling for rain on Easter so that means that the temps will be above freezing at least! Yah!
This week I have been hungry and tired so had to force myself to get my exercise in yesterday because I had not the three days before and it was making everything worse! The scale is up a bit so am working on that.
Judy: TOTALLY understand about the stress eating! In the beginning of my husbands illness I was going a million miles a minute trying to be at the hospital, home to take care of the dogs and work 9-10 hours a day so I had no time to think about food and lost but then things got into a rhythm and he came home from the hospital and we just stayed in and I ate... and ate some more... ugh. You hang in there, you DH is getting better so that means you will be able to concentrate on you for a while... yah!
Bandit: Drive.... from Florida to Canada! OMG! That is one long drive! We are going to make the drive here in a couple of weeks but I think ours is a bit shorter than yours would be... so glad she made it home safe and sound... You are so good to take just two pieces of goodies and get rid of the rest... LOL, not sure I would have had that kind of strength!
Terri: Glad to see you are doing ok and hope you enjoyed your vacation!
Life: So good to see you posting, hope you are getting a bit of time for yourself!
Beautiful sunny day up here, a little cool but lovely. Was just outside feeing the birds/squirels and felt great just to be outside. I have little purple flowers coming up in my garden (my gf planted stuff when she sold her house) and I am not a gardener so not sure what these are, maybe crocus.
Still nice to see little spots of bright purple.
Terri - nice to see you posting again
Princess - Yes, it is a far drive for sure and as I said, I was glad they got home safely since they went through a wicked storm.
Judy - glad to hear your dh is on the mend. That is very stressful when loved ones are not well.
All - I am with Judy with the scale not going down. Last night at Tops I stayed same again (which is better than being up) but really need to drop
some weight, I notice my pants are feeling alittle snug and that is sure sign to smarten up. I think the biggest change has been me not walking.
When I went to walking centre I was going 3 times a week and walked 3 miles each time, then I hurt my knee and haven't really been doing any exercise. So now that my knee is somewhat better, I really need to get my butt in gear and my running shoes on & get to it.
So my goal this week is to stay within my points plus walk 2 times.
Bandit, I hope you can exercise soon. It's so tricky because you don't want to re-injure the knee, but the exercise helps us to feel better too.
Hey Turtles, good news!!! My dd had her baby daughter last night. I drove her to the hospital when she wasn't feeling well. Her husband met us there.
She and baby, most darling I must say, are doing fine. I'm so glad the stress from the pregnancy is over. Now we may all get tired with the new baby, but it'll be a good tired.
Hopefully I can get my food back in order now.
Wishing you all a Happy Easter and a lovely day.
Judy
Hello everyone and happy Monday to you all... ugh, I did not want to get up today... LOL - could have stayed in bed for a long time this morning. Went to WI on Saturday but did not stay for the meeting as we had a lot going on over the weekend. Was down .2 - not great but at least it was not a gain!
Judy: Congrats to you and your family on your new budle of joy! How exciting for you all! I hope that things calm down for you and you are able to focus on you for a bit.
Hi Turtles,
Good to hear from you Princess, and and :
When the scale goes down we all
I'm beat this morning too. Heading out to buy something for my daughter and then will go see her in the late afternoon. She's doing okay, baby is doing very well! Things are starting to settle down a bit.
Okay Gals, onward and downward. That's our goal and our aim. We can do this!

Happy Thursday all!!! I over ate this weekend and the scale is showing just what bad choices I made! Ugh! I don't know when I will make it to weigh in again due to vacation coming up and I have a million things to do this weend and will be away for the following two Saturdays sooo I need to use that time wisely!
I have been doing the 3 mile walk away the pounds DVDs 4 times a week - don't know how much it is doing but I feel sooo good afterwards and that is what counts!
Everyone must be busy and I hope things are going great - warmer weather seems to be on its way - yeah!!!
Take care everyone!

Judy- glady to hear your dd and grandchild are doing well, always a relief
Princess - nice job on the walking! I love those Leslie Sansone tapes!
I walked outside 2 times this week for a total of 98 min which I counted as
4.9 miles. Not great - but its a start since I haven't really walked since last Oct before I hurt my knee. The walking will definately help make the scales go down.
Beautiful day up here today seeing it was snowing yesterday morning.
Seriously woke up to more snow (it didn't last but still, enough)
So tonight is my first night in the weight room at Tops, so hopefully that
will go OK. My home scale is up - with all the snacking on the weekend, I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
Hi Turtles,
Princess, keep up the walking. It makes you feel good about the effort.
Bandit, I'm with you and the snow. Our is finally gone. We've had sunny but chilly days. Spring is on its way. Good luck at the WI.
I had a decent day today . Need to repeat that. We can do this!
Best of everything to all. :
