Default Thursday...I can't think of a better description :)

Hey everyone. Well today is a somber day isn't it? There isn't really much more to say about that.

Robin - Congrats!!!!!!!!!! I am soooooo happy for you! And KT is right, your uncle is extremely lucky. And your son will be fine. I think kids do take it easier than adults.

Jen - How is dealing with Emma being so PG like you are? It must be tough to pick her up and taking care of her. Does she understand she's going to have a new brother or sister soon? (Did you tell us if you found out the sex, I can't remember )Have you got all the baby stuff ready? Keep us updated. Just becuase you are PG doesn't mean you can't post!!!

Well, yesterday I stayed OP. But I got on the scale this morning, and been OP for almost a week now, and the scale hasn't gone down. But I have gone to the gym every day, so I am blaming it on that. I think I may need to lower my points range a bit early, and maybe that will help...

I'll check back in later!

Hey Lori-just popping in to say "Hi" real quick. We moved Norman's bed into living room and he is next to the front window where he can see the bird feeder and all the car's going by. He has always loved to do that, he can tell you who went by and in what vehicle they were driving. He has lived in New Harbor his whole life so he knows everyone. Will try to post later.

Default Hi all!

Hi everyone! I am here lurking....19 wks PG now and starting to show...I have gained 6-7 lbs so far...so doing ok on that front...of course I wish it were less..but, I am posting on a PG board and there are a group of us former WWers that are trying hard to watch our weight gain...truth be told, I have been eating like crap for the past week-I am trying to correct that today...(and tomorrow, etc)

Ali-My father died four years ago when I was in my mid twenties..I second the advice of being around for him even after all of the funeral stuff dies down-people are very sympathetic in the beginning, and then, naturally, they move on, while of course it is harder for the family member..he will really really need you to be there in about a month or so...the best things my friends did for me were to be there and to listen, and to not get uncomfortable or change the subject when i brought up something about my dad, like he liked this or that song, food, etc...that is my way of keeping him around....

Robin-Congrats on the loss -that deserves a dancing banana! And, you are a saint...there should be more people out there like you...

Jen-L-hang in there-you are so close!
Hi to everyone else...Lori D

Default Hello!

Hi everybody!! Of course, I didn't make it back to post yesterday (I never do, so I have to quit saying it), sorry about that!!

I wanted to post that I was down .8 at WI on Tuesday night, didn't mention that. And I also wanted to make a little comment about Jayne's thread title and tell her everyday is a great day for humping.

I didn't do so great eating yesterday. The day started out OK, with 3 points for breakfast and 6 for lunch. Then I went home and did the 3-mile WATP video. Aaron and I had plans to get dinner and boy, did I get dinner. We went to a burger place in Omaha and I got chicken fingers, but when I saw the burger that Aaron got, I wanted a hamburger. And when Aaron saw my chicken fingers, he wanted those. Well, he got a triple cheeseburger, so I was not about to trade with him (even though I probably would have been better off). Instead, he went up and bought himself chicken fingers and got me a hamburger. So for dinner last night, I had chicken fingers, fries, and a hamburger.

Robin--In answer to your question about the WATP tapes, I got mine from Amazon.com. I bought the three-pack that comes with the "Walk Away Weights". I did the 3-mile last night and really liked it. The people that are in the background behind Leslie are really annoying, but they're what makes the video entertaining in my opinion. Congratulations, also on your 20 lb mark! Yay!!

Lori--Way to go staying OP! Keep up the good work! Sometimes when I've been spending a lot of time working out, the scale seems to get stuck, but it usually starts going the right direction after a couple of weeks. And, as long as it's not heading up, you're doing OK!!

PGLori--Hello!! Glad to hear that all is coming along well with PG!! And I'm glad to hear from you!!

OK, I gotta start working now, but before I do, hello to Jayne, Laura, JenL, Tonya, Kirsty, Kierie, JenK, Lisa (who I miss!), KT, Rina, who am I forgetting? Hello to all (that ought to cover everybody!!)

NO I am not ready at all. Just realized that if I have this baby as soon as I had Emma... it would be in 5 weeks! YIKES! Otherwise 7 weeks to make my 40 weeks. Took a refresher Lamaze class and forgot all this things of childbirth! Don't want to scare anyone, so I won't go into details. Also, got yelled at for not having my bag packed. Last weekend we bought a neutral outfit to bring the baby home in (don't know the sex). But I haven't pulled out the bin of newborn clothes from Emma yet. Have to get those washed. Emma was born the end of Oct., so the seasons are totally opposite for the 2. And if this is a boy, then we will be in for major shopping to get boy clothes. But the first couple of months they wear jammies and onesies, so we should be OK for awhile. We have the crib back into the newborn stage and Emma seems sad about that, tho she acted excited too. I have the baby quilt almost done too.

I am so busy all the time, it makes things hard. I can't lift a lot either and that is hard with a 2 1/2 year old. She does like to tell everyone that there is a baby in mommy's tummy. I have to post some pics of the big sister Emma soon. I just haven't taken the time to get those things done. I want to work on organizing pics from when Emma was born.

Let's just say I have a lot to do. I can't reach my feet very well, so even putting on and taking socks off is a challenge!

Jess - Randy is MINE! I know you're doing the WATP videos just so you can watch him in his short-shorts. But that hottie is all mine so just don't get any ideas in your head. Hee-hee.

Laura--That is just sick and wrong, wrong, wrong... Randy in his short-shorts is the stuff nightmares are made of. In fact, I was deeply disturbed by him in his red shorts on the 3-mile video... You can see everything! Ew.

Hey gals, Well I finally found some time to post. THis week has been very busy.

My brother is going through a rough breakup & phones me 5 times a day. He was living with the girl so now he might move in with us for awhile. Thats a little stessful. He has a few problems & we usually end up fighting even though we're good friends. He has Bipolar Disorder & is very unpredictable. Dh isn't thrilled with the idea but it seems to be the only solution right now.

Last night I was stuck to the tv watching everything about the war Then I had a horrible nightmare that seemed to go on forever & was so real. Of course I had every intention of getting up & watching more coverage but when we turned the tv on the picture tube blew! Do you thinkg someone is trying to tell me something?? Anyway I'm really ticked b/c our tv is brand new-we got it as a wedding gift last June! Now we have to contact the people who gave it to us & see if they still have the receipt b/c that's the only way the warranty will work. Argh. Oh well probably better off without it right now anyway.

Life at work is still stressful. My boss meets with some specialists this week to determine the best course for pain management & keeping her as comfortable as possible until the end. We still don't know what is going to happen with our clinic. We're supposed to be having a meeting in a week or so. Can't wait until there are some definite plans.

Other than tha not much else going on. I'm so glad spring has finally arrived. I can't believe how fast the snow is melting. Of course we'll probably get snow at least once more when we don't expect it-like Easter or May long weekend! Oh well...

Mod Lori, don't necessarily go by what the scale says. How do your clothes fit? How do you feel?

Pg Lori, don't fret about the weight. You took it off once-you'll be able to do it again.

Jen, So glad you're able to stop by. Sounds like time is getting short! Did you ever get that pg massage we talked about? If not go get one now! How is wokr now that you moved? Has you settled in?

Jess, don't beat yourself up about your supper. That happens once in awhile. I bet you felt gross after so you won't be tempted for a really long time!

Laura you're too funny! We used to have a gym teacher who would wear short shorts like that & then he would talk to us by putting his one leg up on a bench & leaning on it! EW! Ew! Ew! Those things should be banned-just like Speedos!

Hi to everyone else out there. I know I'll be back later-especially with no tv to watch! Take care!

Rina, I did get the massage. Long time ago. I don't think I would be comfortable doing it now tho. The hole in the bed was OK then, but I think I am too big to get up and down and flipped and all that. I have been whining to hubby a lot lately and he is getting the hint that I need to be massaged! And the weird thing is that he doesn't mind giving foot massages! I hate feet, but love it when he rubs mine (as long as he doesn't tickle!).

Hello everyone! I have a short day today cause I have to go to the dentist this afternoon. And then it's gaming night with the boys. This time, I bought the vegetables (I bought green peppers, carrots, broccoli and cauliflower) which I probably won't be able to eat because of the fact that my mouth will be frozen.
Rina - Did you watch Survivor last night? I was unbelievably happy with the outcome. It was also a nice break from the war coverage that I'm guilty of watching obsessively.
Jess - Good work on your loss. Any loss is a good loss. I think I picked up that .8 you lost!
Laura - short shorts!?!
Jen - I didn't realize you were so close. I can't believe that much time has flown by so fast.
Dr Lori - sounds like you're doing well with your PG weight. How's the rest of it going?
Robin - Sounds like you've got your own community gossip columnist to keep you up to date on town happenings. I love small towns
Lori - don't worry about the loss not showing - yet - it will, just don't get discouraged and keep up the good work. Take a look at the WW book, The right mix - it has some good ideas in it for people following the plan who stall on the scale.
I'll check back in before I go - Have a great day everyone!!
KT

It's my busy day and I don't have time to do a real post, but can i just say that I'm LMAO at the Randy comments? All I can see is him lolling around on a couch in those red shorts (due to all of the "Well, I got off the couch" comments he always makes). And how do you like it when he responds to Leslie with his "in da house!!!" hands? That just cracks me up every time...some middle age, gray-haired man in an exercise video doing "props to my peeps" hands. And Laura and Jess...please tell me that you also want to hurt Beth. She bugs the crap out of me, and I don't know why...

I may come back later if I can and post some more...

Oh no not Beth...she's cute and adorable...in a very sacherine I want to beat the snot out of you way.

Have you ever checked out Adriene and her "I am so above this" expression that is issued whenever she responds to Leslie? I keep waiting for her to actually roll her eyes!

Wish I could respond to everyone but don't have the time for a chatty post today.

My biggest problem with Beth is her butt!!!!!!!!! That thing is just a-shakin' and a-jigglin' and I can't stop staring at it! Now, I know I have no room to talk about the jiggling, but she sure thinks she's something special. I have a problem with pretty much every person on there. Randy, in his shorts and with his package bouncing all over the place; Beth with her jigglybutt; that old lady who looked like she was going to pass out at the end of the one-mile (and I still can't believe she made it through the 3-mile); the skinny little beanpole lady whose top half lurches way forward when she's walking; the woman in the back who looks remarkably like a man and doesn't seem the least bit friendly... I can't wait to do the 2-mile and make fun of everyone.
