Another day closer to summer!!! Not that I'm counting.... right
Thanks for the prayers for my friend and me! I teared up today talking about her. My big sister said to me today "I really don't think you should go to the memorial" I told her I feel like I really need too. Tina has and is a pretty close friend and has always been very compassionate about Seamus. She finally posted on Facebook a few minutes ago about her loss. I have the girl that I work with and a dear friend (more like my sister) that will go with me. She said that she would do whatever I need to do. Lu (my sister) said "I think you will just be reliving everything."
Nothing exciting here....... except did I tell you I'm ready for summer!!!
Tina, let me know when you are going to San Antonio this summer. I might be there. I plan on going several times.
Hey Everyone!
I have been MIA for a while. I have decided to quit my job and go back to school to be a nurse. I start my CNA class next Wed. so I can work a little while I'm in school. My son and brother were also in a head on colision about 2 wks ago. Thank God they are going to be ok. Andrew, my son, broke his femur in half and had to have a rod put in. Also has 2 broken hands and 2 broken ribs. He is home from Childrens Hosp. and is recovering but needs me around the clock. My brother was basically crushed from the waist down. He just got out of ICU 2 days ago but has developed an infection in one of his legs so surgery has stopped for now. He has had 6 out of prob 8 or 9 surgeries. I have been eating horrible through all of this. ya know, didn't eat for the first 3 days, then eating everything in sight. But, Im going to stop that as of now, so Im jumping back in. well, didnt mean to give yall a novel, but maybe I needed to get all of that out. TTYL
Farmgirl, I am soooooo glad to hear from you. However, I am so sorry about your news. I, too, am praying that all continues to go well with Andrew. And I pray your brother will get rid of that infection and continue with his surgeries.
I don't blame you for Not eating and then Eating. What horrible stress! Please keep us posted, if you ever get another minute.

I have had a great day today. I went to Lowes with a girlfriend and then out to lunch. Andrew stayed at my MIL's and it was nice to get a break from everything. I think Andrew enjoyed a change too. He hasnt been out much. My brother came through another surgery today. They are sending off his port that he was using to recieve meds to be tested for bad bacteria. We are praying for a good report. I did ok on my eating I guess but I am going to do really good all next week cause my weigh in is on Fri. I was 151.4 this morning so my ticker is right. Hope all of yall have had a good day. TTYL
Ok, here goes... Pat has gone to visit his parents. He says to me last night " you should come." I almost laughed because I can't just be off with my kids! I had bowling tonight and he called me at 10 pm! We never finish that early. He was just checking to see if I made it home. Sweet!
Tomorrow morning is the funeral. Please say an extra

Hi everyone! Hope you are having a great weekend! Mine was pretty good! Nothing on our agenda for tom. Bob works tonight! We went to the movies today. Fast Five.
Busy week ahead! Weds. we are going to mow and trim at the new house and meet the contractor there. We need to shave a couple thousand dollars off the bid somewhere. hmmmmm. Thurs. we have to meet the guy from Home Depot at the house to get the kitchen stuff drawn up. and Friday we leave for vacation.
Bobs parents are keeping Abby. (our dog) and checking in on the contractor that week. I hate leaving our dog. Hopefully when we get back I will have some new "progress" pictures of the house to post!

I served Saturday!!!!! I walked in with my friend (my coworker) and the girl that lost the baby came over to us. She said "You came!" and hugged me forever! I told her "of course and just breathe" I'm really glad I went but it was extremely hard for me. Luckily my friends that were there knew it and were great. A couple of us went to lunch afterwards and laughed so hard that my stomach hurt. I got home about 2 and slept the rest of the day!!! I had a headache and just kept sleeping. I know it was just the release of stress, etc....
Pat got home from San Antonio last night. He went to see his parents. I'm glad that he did. I think he is realizing that he needs to visit a little more often as he has watched mine.
We are cooking steaks this evening. I can't wait. Pat cooks the best!!!

Last night, we had a 20% chance of rain. I do believe the poor weathermen were just hoping.
