Well, my sister is still in hospital. I went to bed about 10:30 last night, still no kid. They said if it comes in the night they wouldn't call til morning, so I am still waiting to hear. But its only like 6:45 here so I came in early in case I have to leave and meet my new neice/nephew. Unfortunately, it'll be short b/c I have to work late AGAIN to get through this crunch. Seems like at my job its always a crunch.
That's it for me, just waiting on pins and needles trying to concentrate!!
Good morning! Hope you hear soon about your sister, that's kinda exciting. I totally understand about having to work a lot of extra hours. My supervisor quit and I had to pick up her slack. But oh well.
Keep us in the loop Belle. This is such an exciting time for your family.
I went to see the movie "The Good Girl" last night. It was hilarious. If you've got an off-beat sense of humor, I suggest you go see it.
Well, 3 days OP so far. I went to WI on Monday because I wanted to know the damage from vacation (bad). However, I didn't get to stay for a meeting because I didn't have time on my lunch hour. I'm thinking about going to a meeting tomorrow morning. My leader is inspiring and I could use some of that as it's been 3 weeks since I've been to a meeting. I can't decide though if I want to WI again (my pass allows that). Do I WI after 4 days just to check if I'm on track again or wait until next Saturday and hope that a week plus 4 days of being OP shows a large loss (always a huge motivator for me)?
Will check back in with you guys later. Have a good day and if you've got fun weekend plans let us know.
Auntie Belle!!! How exciting! My sister isn't as close - the doctor said if she still hasn't gone into labor by next Wed., they will do something. Needless to say, she is quite uncomfortable and a bit crabby! Let me know once you hear something!!! I can't wait to hear about your new niece or nephew!
Laura - I would wait until next Sat. to weigh-in. A big loss is always a good motivator for me as well. I really want to see "The Good Girl" so I'm glad to know you liked it. I'll e-mail you later.
No fun weekend plans here. Just studying for a midterm on Monday and hoping to catch a bit of the marathon as it runs through my neighborhood! And waiting for my nephew to be born... so exciting!
Wow Belle, I can't believe how excited I am for you. I'll be checking the board all day. I love it when babies are born - Lori has my ideal job.
I have a workstation evaluation so I should go get evaluated - my wrist gets so sore from typing at this station.

Jen - I know how busy you are but "The Good Girl" really was worth the time/money.
I think you guys are right. No WI this Saturday. Hopefully a decent loss next week will spur my motiviation. Plus this way I can go for Chinese for lunch (still within points of course!) and not worry about retaining water. I am going to go to a meeting tomorrow though just to help keep me on track.
I went to my first OB appointment. Couldn't hear the heartbeat yet, she assumed the baby was under my pelvic bone. So of course I get all worried. Had lab today too and after my urine sample I was spotting a little, so again, I am worried. Had absolutely no problems while PG with Emma except a bladder infection at 37 weeks. So I am hoping for the best. I go back in next month and hopefully will hear the heartbeat!
Got some new pics of Emma from daycare. One she is in a firetruck. It is SOOOOO CUTE! So I will get those scanned and share with you!
Belle, let us know the outcome. I had a fast delivery with Emma, so I can't imagine the waiting game!
Jen, hope your new family member comes soon. Again, I had Emma 10 days early, so no waiting game for me either. Guess I had it pretty good!!!
OK, should get some work done, but not much in the mood. The weather is in the 70's today, but tomorrow we are ony supposed to get a high of 40-very low 50's. YIKES. Not good for warding off illnesses!!!
JenL - don't worry too much - you'll only upset yourself and the baby. I'm sure everything is fine.
Does anyone have their books with them? I had some shrimp with snowpeas for lunch but not sure how many points to count and I won't have access to my materials until after work tomorrow.
Hey Jen, I spotted allthe way thru Aaron's pregnancy and I remember being terrified. The best thing you can do for you and little peanut is relax. Isn't that the most irritating thing, when you are tense about something and people tell you to relax? Seriously, though, honey, just enjoy your new room downstairs this weekend. If you are really anxious, tell your OB's office and see if they will arrange an ultrasound for you.
Hey to everyone else...back is bad again today ( I shopped this a.m. and way overedid it) so I can't sit here for too long. Hope you meet your new niece-ephews soon Auntie Belle and Auntie Jen!
Hey Kira, glad you're posting...we love fresh thoughts!!!
Kira...I just noticed that you are from Missouri -- I lived there for 11 years, in both the Kansas City and St. Louis areas. What part of MO are you from? Or maybe you can just show me (isn't that joke just friggin irritating by now? I wish they'd take Show Me State off of MO license plates...people have comments for it every where you go!!!)
Yah Well, we are cheeseheads in Wisconsin. Makes us all sound stupid. OK some are, but not all of us. Tho I do love cheese!!
Jayne, yup, I hear that relax thing all the time. Do I know that I should, Yup. But do I, Nope!!! I think my PG with Emma was way too easy. I just know this one is a boy. He is already causing me grief!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hee heeee!!! Oh and my back aches all the time now. Emma is heavy and being PG, doesn't do anything for my back!!
