Good morning, everyone!

Sorry I've been away for the last few days. I've been busy with work, and then yesterday I took a vacation day. It was great and exactly what I needed to put me in a better mood about work, so that's good.

I had a nice, quiet weekend. Friday night, BF and I watched Murder by Numbers and Changing Lanes. Saturday, I stayed at home and did a little stamping. Sunday was Sopranos night, so BF and I had intentions of watching it, but went to a bar where one of his friends works instead.

This weekend was not a particularly OP one for me. Friday, I was so proud of being down 1.4 lbs that some co-workers and I went out to Chinese buffet to celebrate. I think I did OK, but got a nasty craving for chocolate that evening and it got a little out of hand. Then, Sunday night, I was planning on BF buying Subway for dinner, but we never really got time to stop, so when we ended up at the bar where one of his friends works, we got a nacho plate and two orders of garlic cheese bread. Oops.

But, it's a whole new week and even if I did go off-program two days, I can still come out the same as last week. So, that's what I'm going to try to accomplish.

Did I even stop by on Friday and tell you guys how WI went? I don't think I did. I was down 1.4 lbs at WI on Thursday. It was my last meeting in Missouri Valley, I'll be going to Omaha now. It was sad leaving because I really like the leader there. But, I can't be doing all that driving, since I drive 15 miles to WW, then another 30 from WW to BF's and then another 20 home from BF's.

The only big news here is that I might be getting a cat. A friend of mine has to get rid of one of hers. Now, my landlord said no pets when I moved in, but she let me have the guinea pigs and I think one of my neighbors has a cat and a dog, so I'm going to call and see if she'll let me have the cat. Crossing my fingers, even though I really don't need to be getting a kitty.

So, that's about all I know. I'm going to finish my yogurt and then go take a walk with some ladies here.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Morning Jess. Glad to see that you are in better spirits. Sounds like you and BF had a lot of fun over your 3 day weekend.

Well, I bit the bullet yesterday. Went to WI after not having gone to a meeting in 2 weeks (due to vacation). I was up 4.8 lbs. UGH! I knew I did some damage on vacation but I didn't really think it was that bad. To cheer myself up, I am blaming at least 2lbs of it on water weight as it is TOM. Nothing to do I guess but get back OP and take it off. Have a 4 day weekend in Orlando planned for the 1st weekend in November so that gives me a goal to work towards.

My boss at my second job did a nice thing. Even though I'm back in town, she didn't schedule me to work until Friday night this week so that I'd have a chance to catch-up on things at home and at my day job. It means I work Friday night and all day Saturday but it's so nice not to be stressed at my full-time job about catching up that I don't even mind that I have to work all day 6 days in a row.

Speaking of work......

Hope you all check in today. I've missed "chatting" with you and want to catch-up on everything.

Hi Jess and Laura!

I am here but trying to get some work done. I am working on a proposal for a promotion for me. It is taking lots of time, plus I am wordy....

I stayed OP yesterday, first day in a long time! I am on my way today too. I think if I can last all week, it will get much easier. I really want to be 20 pounds down by my DH's Christmas party. We will see.

The house is coming along nicely. My DH is working all day at the house plastering, then works his full time job from 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. he is tired!

I have Hayley's elementary school open house tonight, so I probably won't be home til 7 p.m., looks like the kids will have to eat spaghettios again tonight! I am going to have some salmon steak and a baked potato. That is really healthy!!

Well, better get back to work. I need to finish this memo, then take Subway out to DH for lunch.

BBIAB!!!

Oh duh...

Jess ~ Your weekend sounded really nice, don't worry about the eating fest, just brush yourself off and start again. You can still lose this week at WI.

Laura ~ We are glad to have you back. That was really nice of your boss, that means alot when they do the little things. I just don't know how you work two jobs....very stressful!!

Hi to everyone I missed!!

Hi Jess, Laura and Tonya. I had a workshop all morning and just got back to the office now. It was a diversity workshop about the differences both seen and unseen - it was nice to have a morning away from my desk anyway.
Jess - would the cat try to eat the pigs? I dreamt about my old cat last night - it was weird, I felt her sitting on my chest and purring shortly before I woke up.
Laura - don't worry about the whole # thing. You had a good time and you can get back on track now. Plus you've got all that extra time at night - what a nice boss.
Tonya - Nice to hear the house is coming along so well. When is your move in date?
OK - on to file purging - so much fun - have a great day all.

Hello everyone!

I know, I know, I've been such a stranger. The past few months have been crazy with planning the wedding and trying to work at the same time. I now have a month to go and I can't wait until it gets here. Then we're off to Jamaica for our honeymoon!

For anyone who doesn't know me, I'm Kim and I used to post on this board all the time. Then I got engaged and lost my mind. But I'll be a married lady as of Nov. 9 and hopefully the craziness will subside. :hypno2:

So guess what girls? I turn 30 next week. Is it OK if I still come visit? I've missed you all. Belle emailed me last week to say hi ... thank you Belle! How is everyone?

Wow, I just noticed all the new smilies! I've got to try some. How fun! I've been away from here way too much. I'll be back tomorrow!
